The COVID-19 Test No One Is Talking About: Make Sure Your Children Have It Before They Are Vaccinated

We are already seeing colleges and universities requiring the COVID-19 vaccine for students to attend classes in the fall. The vaccine is being tested for children under 16, and there may be school districts that attempt to require it in the fall. All of this pressure to vaccinate the young, given their relative resilience to severe disease and near-zero fatality rate from COVID-19, is unprecedented. The health bureaucracy is not nearly as insistent about the flu vaccine, even though it often makes children much sicker and often carries higher fatality rates in children.

Natural Virus or Lab Experiment Gone Wrong?

Natural Virus or Lab Experiment Gone Wrong?

Nicholas Wade has been writing important science journalism for decades. I’ve blogged about one of his books, Betrayers of the Truth: Fraud and Deceit in the Halls of Science, which was published back in 1982.

Two weeks ago, Wade penned a lengthy essay, Origin of Covid – Following the Clues. It also appears online under the title The origin of COVID: Did people or nature open Pandora’s box at Wuhan?

FUREY: Let’s face it, Ontario’s stay-at-home order is effectively over

FUREY: Let’s face it, Ontario’s stay-at-home order is effectively over

There was one event in particular that I watched unfold over the weekend that signalled to me the death knell, in practical terms, of Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s controversial “stay-at-home” order.

Yes, there were a number of dead giveaways that highlighted just how many Ontarians weren’t following the rules as much as Ford, Dr. David Williams and Solicitor General Sylvia Jones would have liked.

‘Unjustified fears’: When COVID-19 anxiety stops making sense

Polls keep showing that the public believes COVID-19 disease is way deadlier and more pervasive than it really is

The COVID-19 variants, it was roundly said, were attacking the bodies of young people with unprecedented ferocity.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the U.K. variant had been “proven to be more dangerous in children and young people.” Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe just this week said that the variants are “shown to be more dangerous to young people.”

Ontario reports 2,170 new Covid cases … and Church of God remains defiant against Covid Caesars

Ont. reports 2,170 new COVID-19 cases, lowest daily death toll in nearly 2 months

Ontario is reporting just under 2,200 new COVID-19 cases and four more virus-related deaths, the lowest daily death toll recorded in almost two months.

Provincial health officials logged 2,170 new COVID-19 infections today, down slightly from the 2,199 cases confirmed on Sunday.

Today’s tally is a notable drop from the 2,716 cases reported last Monday.

‘I am not locked down this morning’: Charges pending as defiant Ontario church sees hundreds gather for service

LONDON, ONT. — The pastor of a small Ontario town church was greeted with a standing ovation as hundreds gathered for an outdoor service Sunday after their church was shuttered by a court order last week.

“I am not locked down this morning,” said Pastor Henry Hildebrant of the Church of God Restoration in Aylmer, Ont. as he started the service attended by roughly 500 congregants

CDC’s about-face on masks appears politically motivated to help a struggling Biden

So, what’s going on here? Could this decision by the CDC and fully supported by the Biden administration – whose members have sported masks outdoors and otherwise for months while fully vaccinated – have something to do with politics?

Of course it does, because it’s safe to say that the post-honeymoon stage for the new president is going excessively poorly.

It’s no longer a question of if we should have vaccine passports in Canada but how they should be designed

The question of whether Canada should create COVID-19 vaccine passports was answered by Health Minister Patty Hadju this week when she confirmed that the federal government will create such a system to allow Canadians to travel internationally again.

Now is the time to consider who in Canada will provide such passports and how they should be designed and deployed.

A Review of ‘Origin of COVID – Following the Clues,’ by Nicholas Wade

A Review of ‘Origin of COVID – Following the Clues,’ by Nicholas Wade

The article “Origin of COVID – Following the Clues” by Nicholas Wade is a comprehensive investigation into the COVID19 pandemic.  Wade is a science journalist who has written articles for the big publishers.  His Origin of COVID article is a clear-eyed analysis of what we do and don’t know.  He tells us the details that lead a reasonable reader to conclude that the Wuhan Virology Institute created the COVID19 virus and through sloppy techniques released the virus.  The disease spread rapidly, killing millions and attacking elderly populations in particular.

Indian Covid variant: How much faster does it spread?

After months of good news, including falling Covid cases and a hugely successful vaccination campaign, the tone has shifted.

England’s full relaxation of rules in June is in jeopardy and there is the looming spectre of greater pressure on the NHS.

The thorn in the plans is the variant of coronavirus that emerged in India – B.1.617.2 – and has started spreading around the world.

Concerns have been mounting over the past week and, for the first time, the scientists advising the UK government are now confident it does spread more easily.
