Forty arrested for historic child sex abuse in West Yorkshire

Forty people have been arrested as part a major investigation into alleged historic child sex offences.

The probe, codenamed Operation Teeford, relates to the abuse of nine female victims in the Kirklees area between 1989 and 1999.

Kirklees District Police confirmed they have arrested 38 men and two women and pledged to ‘leave no stone unturned’ in their pursuit.

Twenty seven of the arrests were made in the Kirklees District, with others made in Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield and two outside of the West Yorkshire Police area.

No Perps named yet but I suggest a high M Quotient will be revealed.

Anti-anti-crime policies are ruining American cities

Let’s get the myths out of the way: COVID wasn’t the main driver behind the recent crime surge

I didn’t meet Davell Gardner Jr. Yet his photo — and the bubbly personality it captures — will forever remain etched in my mind. The picture shows a baby with fuzzy curls; trusting, happy eyes; a beaming, gap-toothed smile. His chubby, loaf-like baby hands remind me of my own kids’ hands, which I often can’t help kissing or blowing raspberries on. There he is, crawling on his dad’s belly, enjoying one of the last playtimes of his life.

Lori’s Chicago – At Least 11 Dead, 61 Wounded in Weekend Shootings

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s plans over the last year or so to alleviate the violence plaguing the city she was elected to run simply aren’t working, as evidenced by the extreme failure of her “Our City, Our Safety” program. Who knew that injecting “resources” en masse instead of allowing police to do their jobs wouldn’t work?

At least 11 people were killed and another 61 were wounded in shootings across the Chicagoland area over the weekend. This past weekend’s numbers are up from the previous weekend, which saw at least 10 fatally shot and another 50 wounded.

What the hell is going on in DC?

The surge in crime is finally starting to affect Washington’s cozy and wealthy elite

Imagine dining al fresco at a popular French brasserie in Washington DC. It’s a clear, summer night and the streets are buzzing with residents and tourists alike. You’re enjoying your Burger Americain, and suddenly gunshots ring out down the street. Diners duck and run for cover. You later hear that two men were injured just blocks away from where you were enjoying your meal. The stark realization hits: the heart of the nation’s capital is not safe.

Did Refugee Ibrahim Ali Get Away With Murdering 13-Year Old Marissa Shen?

In an interview with Justin Trudeau in September, 2018, our prime minister issued the following statement: “I trust our justice system to apply consequences to this.”

Mr. Trudeau was responding to a question from a Maclean’s magazine journalist regarding the murder of 13-year old Marissa Shen of Burnaby, British Columbia.

Just under four years have passed since this ghastly murder. Fascinating it is that no one knows whether or not consequences were applied to accused child-killer Ibrahim Ali.

DOJ To Send Gun Trafficking Strike Forces To 5 U.S. Cities

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland said his new Justice Department is focusing on five American cities to tackle illegal gun trafficking. On Thursday, while in Chicago, the official announced he’s sending gun trafficking strike forces to the Democrat-led cities of Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington D.C.

They’re going to say guns used in crimes in Democrat run cities are supplied by GOP run areas and demand gun control there.

A weekend in America: Shootings in Washington spotlight growing problem

Families supporting the local team. A woman waiting for her ride. A six-year-old girl playing outside. In one weekend, a series of shootings affected all of these Washington DC residents – and shocked a city all too familiar with the plague of gun violence.

It was the sixth inning. The Nationals Park baseball stadium, just south of Capitol Hill, was packed with thousands of fans spending their Saturday night watching the Washington Nationals play the San Diego Padres.

That was when the shots rang out. Cries of “shooter” rapidly spread through the crowd. Where had the attack come from? Was a gunman inside?

Wealthy Suburb Wanting ‘Divorce’ from Atlanta Will Get Senate Hearing

“…The committee head moved to the affluent district with his husband a few years ago from New York, where he had been CEO of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum for about 20 years. He said he has been disturbed by the “brazenness” of the criminal behavior as of late, pointing to a high murder rate, home invasions while residents are home, and a recent police warning of “bump and robs.”

I wonder why?

Chinese Mafia biggest Importer of Methamphetamine to British Columbia

Asian organized crime has never been this prevalent on an international scale. Like in the historical West, crime revolved around gangs and thugs. But globalization, economical and political changes in the mid-20th century in China and Asia-Pacific created conditions for a new form of organized crime: transnational organized crime.

Transnational organized crime is characterized by cross-border activities. Stiff bureaucracy, tunnel-visioning on economic growth and the flexibility of transnational crime syndicates, has made it insanely hard to combat organized crime.

Arrest made in Puerto Rican Day execution killing in Chicago; story takes horrific turn

Law enforcement officials have made an arrest in the ghastly attack on a Chicago couple in the aftermath of the Puerto Rican People’s Day Parade last month, with authorities revealing an additional tragic aspect to the case.

Video appeared to depict a group of men dragging Gyovanni Arzuaga and Yasmin Perez — both of whom were in their 20s and were parents of two young children — out of their vehicle, with one of the assailants allegedly opening fire in the incident that occurred near Humboldt Park. Arzuaga was rushed to a local hospital where he tragically died from a gunshot wound to the head. Yasmin Perez, who was critically injured, passed away three days later.
