Biden-Harris Administration Quietly Opens Floodgates for ‘Economic Migrants’ Under Refugee Status

The Biden administration is facing criticism for its quiet expansion of refugee status to economic migrants throughout Latin America, a move immigration expert Todd Bensman described as “refugeeising” migrants from countries traditionally excluded from such programs. Speaking on Steve Bannon’s War Room, Bensman warned that this policy could have far-reaching consequences for U.S. immigration.

Tackling refugee crisis in Toronto on the agenda as Mayor Olivia Chow begins first full day in office

“I’ll be meeting my chief of staff of course and getting a briefing on TTC, meeting some councillors, doing some paperwork, and really looking at the crisis that we’re facing right now in the streets, these refugees having no place,” Chow told CP24 in an interview early Thursday. “And as you know, it was pouring rain out there last night and this morning. If you have no shelter, no roof over your head with a soaking wet cardboard, oh my god it’s a miserable life. So it’s tough. So that is a crisis that I want to deal with today.”

Refugees feel forgotten as Canada’s immigration backlog sits at nearly 2 million applications

“Immigration is broken.” “Refugees as second-class citizens.” “Empty promises.” “Endless wait.”

These are some of the phrases refugees waiting to come to Canada are using as the country’s immigration backlog sits at nearly two million applications, more than 100,000 of which are for refugees.

‘We have to do better’: More than 30,000 Afghan refugees still awaiting resettlement in Canada

As Canada prepares to welcome an influx of Ukrainian refugees fleeing Russia’s invasion, there are fears that the additional volume in refugee applications from Ukrainians could lead to further delays for Afghan refugees if the government doesn’t act.

As of March 4, Canada has only resettled 8,580 of the promised 40,000 Afghan refugees since August 2021, after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. At this rate, it would take another two years meet the target of 40,000 refugees.

Biden Administration Wants To Take Border Patrol Agents Off Southern Border And Send Them To Poland To Process Their Border

Joe Biden has allowed over 2 million illegal aliens into our country in 2021 and I’m sure there will be more than that this year. The Biden administration has violated nearly every immigration law we have, and so it comes as no surprise that Joe Biden does not like safe and secure borders. I’m sorry. I meant Biden doesn’t like safe and secure borders for America. Other countries’ borders matter more to our irresponsible nimrod in charge.

Take, for example, a memo that went out to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers who are working on the US/Mexico border that asks CBP agents to volunteer to work temporarily in Poland to help assist Ukraine-Americans, legal US residents, and their immediate families trying to get out of Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.

U.S., Canada, and 96 other countries announce deal with Taliban to keep evacuating allies after Aug. 31

The United States, along with 97 other countries, announced Sunday that they had reached an agreement with the Taliban to allow them to continue to get Afghan allies out of the country after the Aug. 31 withdrawal deadline.

Why it matters: “We are all committed to ensuring that our citizens, nationals and residents, employees, Afghans who have worked with us and those who are at risk can continue to travel freely to destinations outside Afghanistan,” the joint statement said.

Stephen Miller: ‘Vast Majority’ of Incoming 100,000 Afghans ‘Rendered No Meaningful Assistance’ To U.S. Forces

As disaster after disaster continues to unfold regarding the Biden administration’s horribly mismanaged withdrawal from Afghanistan, one aspect they’ve managed to run relatively seamlessly of late has been flight after flight out of Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport filled with Afghan refugees wanting to get the heck out of Dodge.

Biden Ensures States, Cities Have No Veto Power Over Afghan Refugees

President Joe Biden’s administration may balloon the number of Afghans set to be resettled across the United States following the withdrawal of U.S. Armed Forces from Afghanistan.

Days ago, Pentagon officials stated up to 22,000 Afghans — mostly applying for Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs) and the newly-created P-2 visa — would be arriving at three military bases: Fort Lee in Virginia, Fort Bliss in Texas, and Fort McCoy in Wisconsin.

On Thursday, though, refugee resettlement agencies told the Washington Post the number of Afghans “seeking evacuation through a U.S. visa program” is closer to 100,000 and could be as high as 300,000.
