Harvard and others nixing standardized tests reinforce privilege and harm minorities

One of the major characteristics of 21st-century America is its transformation into a hierarchical society in which privileged families occupy the upper strata, and there’s comparatively little room for those at the hierarchy’s bottom to move up.

It’s always been that way to a degree, of course, and it used to be much worse. But starting with the rise of “objective” college entrance exams, the gates of opportunity opened much wider.

Here’s the evidence of Critical Race Theory lessons in schools

Mary Nicely, who is now second-in-command at the California Department of Education, went on her personal Facebook page this summer to denounce conservatives who oppose teaching critical race theory in schools as “yet another White right and education reformer distraction.”

Nicely also reposted a newspaper column in July defining critical race theory as a key used in law schools to expose racism in the legal system: “It is taught, if at all, in law school — not high school.”

Her claim echoed other education experts, like Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, who tweeted: “We could explain until our last breath that CRT is not taught in K-12, but the actual definition of CRT doesn’t matter anymore in these debates.”

These denials, which have been amplified by many news organizations, are at odds with overwhelming evidence – documented by class lessons, school curricula, focus groups, teacher surveys and public statements by educators – that CRT is not only taught in class, but is also heavily promoted by the K-12 education establishment.

You Might Have Missed It, But Real Diversity Was At Play In The Parent-Led Rebellion In Virginia

Democrats and their media allies were nearly unanimous: The Republican upset in the November Virginia gubernatorial election was a result of white supremacy.

It’s a common tune, one that more sober voices — even on the left — immediately dismissed for a more nuanced reality. The numbers following the election revealed something Democrats scramble to say they support, and still somehow failed to notice in this case: Diversity.

Florida v. Critical Race Theory

Governor Ron DeSantis takes a stand against racialist ideologies in public institutions and businesses.

Yesterday, I accompanied Florida governor Ron DeSantis on an early-morning flight from Tallahassee to The Villages retirement community, where he was scheduled to deliver a policy address on critical race theory. During the flight, DeSantis reviewed talking points for his speech, edited communications materials, and, after the plane touched down, selected a red-and-blue sign that would hang on the podium: “STOP WOKE ACT.”

Salvation Army ditched by donors and volunteers after disastrous release of anti-white ‘anti-racism’ guide

Salvation Army chapters across the country are reporting massive shortages in volunteer hours and toy donations just weeks after the charity distributed (and then pulled) a controversial guide calling on white people to confront their “racist attitudes.”

Some 20,000 volunteer hours have gone unfilled for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign this year, which historically represents about 33% of the charity’s total yearly donations. The charity has also reported substantial shortages of toy and gift donations in some parts of the country, such as New Jersey, where donations are down 30% across the state.

Critical race theory is in Canada – and here’s what’s wrong with it

What do you call someone who says we should judge people based on their skin colour and that we should devise laws and rules that treat people differently based on their race?

We used to call these people “racists.” But in 2021, they call themselves “anti-racists” and if you disagree with them, then they call you a racist.

Florida’s DeSantis Proposes Legislation to Allow Parents to Sue Schools Teaching Critical Race Theory

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Wednesday that legislation he’s proposing would allow parents and teachers to sue schools and employees to sue employers who make them participate in policies or teaching involving the principles of critical race theory (CRT).

The Republican governor has already banned CRT teachings in public schools. The proposed Stop Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees (Stop WOKE) Act would be the first legislation of its kind in the nation, “going on the offense against both corporate wokeness and critical race theory in our schools,” a prepared statement from the governor’s office said.

Wealthy Leftists Demand Poor White Kids in Appalachia be Taught They’re Racist

Maybe they can drive by in their limos and teach the hungry kids about their white privilege.

The son of a bank vice president decided to teach about “white privilege” to his students in Sullivan County, Tennessee where the per capita income is $28,429.

After he was fired, the media decided to turn him into a victim.

Critical Race Theory is not a conspiracy. It’s real and it’s here in Canada.

Critical Race Theory (CRT) teaches children to view everything through the lens of race and power. It teaches children that race is more important in their lives and to their future accomplishments than their own hard work, dedication, intelligence or character.

After calling parents domestic terrorists, NSBA discovers: Get woke, go broke — literally

Does the National School Board Association still have enough money left in its coffers to send Joe Biden and Merrick Garland nice fruit baskets? Seventeen NSBA affiliates have cut ties with the NSBA over their coordination with the White House and Department of Justice in casting parental complaints over curricula “domestic terrorism.” And as Axios reports, they’re taking their checkbooks with them — accounting for a 40% loss in revenue at the NSBA

Critical Race Trove From California District Tells Students How To Use Witchcraft On People Who Say ‘All Lives Matter’

While documenting my former high school’s attempt to indoctrinate me with critical race theory six years ago, I remarked that now, several years later, “the situation has undoubtedly worsened.” Worsened it has. Now, Campbell Union High School District has promoted more than 100 “equity resources” to students and staff, including a document that taught students how to put a curse on those who say “all lives matter.”
