Parents Finally Catch On: Will Not Be Threatened

House Republicans are lecturing Attorney General Merrick Garland on the rights of parents over the education of their children: “Parents have an undisputed right to direct the upbringing and education of their children, especially as school boards attempt to install controversial curricula,” the 19 Republicans wrote. “Local law enforcement—and not the FBI—are the appropriate authorities to address any local threats or violence.” The October 25 letter was on the letterhead of the House Committee on the Judiciary and had no Democrat signatures.

Republican Senator Josh Hawley went a step further and asked for Garland to resign.

Parents Teaching or Government Indoctrination – You Choose

The discontent at school board meetings across America is hard to miss. It is showing up in the news and social media feeds that people are watching and reading in their homes. Many people, however, are missing the major driver of this discontent — the major transformation that the White House, National School Boards Association (NSBA) and others are trying to impose on our government schools.

The recent debate statements by Terry McAuliffe, the Democrats’ Virginia gubernatorial candidate, and actions by Attorney General Merrick Garland following a letter from the NSBA clearly signal they believe that government schools are a tool to be used to indoctrinate children. They also believe the force of the federal government should be used to back them up.

Loudoun County school board meeting

‘You’re all busted’

Attend a Loudoun County school board meeting in Virginia, and you will find it almost as locked down as the US Capitol post-January 6. Police cars line the streets and dozens of security personnel post up inside the building. I attended the most recent meeting on Tuesday as media and was subject to a thorough bag check and extensive metal scanning. Residents who wish to speak at meetings are not even allowed in the building until they are in the next group of ten scheduled to appear, and they are not allowed to bring in bags or purses.

The American Medical Association has fallen into Marxist lockstep with Critical Race Theory.

“Doctors covering mouth, ears and eyes in hospital”

As part of the American Medical Association’s (AMA) equity plan to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), the powerful lobbying group is sponsoring 100 virtual screenings of Black Men in White Coats. The thesis of this film—which improbably boasts the U.S. Army and Navy as “corporate sponsors”—is that blacks will “continue dying” unless there are more black doctors.

It’s the White House siccing the FBI on parents who question CRT nonsense

Attorney General Merrick Garland basically admitted Thursday that the White House contacted the Justice Department about that odious letter from the National School Boards Association begging the feds to use the Patriot Act against “domestic terrorist” parents who raise questions about critical race theory being pushed in their kids’ schools.

Anatomy of a progressive tyranny over parents that will shock you

For months, widespread parent-led uprisings against school boards have pitted everyday mothers and fathers against powerful political bureaucracies. Skirmishes across the country have revealed the radicalism — and ruthlessness — of the educators and administrators who run the American education system.

But none has been as gruesome as that of Scott Smith, the Loudoun County father who became a target of the managerial class that presides over the wealthy northern Virginia suburb.

Philadelphia passes bill barring cops from making minor traffic stops

The Philadelphia City Council voted 14-2 on Thursday to pass the Driving Equality Bill — designed to reduce “unequal police practices” against minority motorists, or what’s been called “driving while black,” for minor offenses such as busted tail lights or expired inspection stickers.

The news out of Loudoun County public schools keeps getting worse

Glenn Reynolds has said for many years that putting children in public school is a form of child abuse. Events in Virginia’s Loudoun County Public Schools (“LCPS”) prove his point.

Earlier this week, the bombshell news was that Scott Smith, the father who, for the left, became the poster child for alleged “domestic terrorism” at school board meetings, was upset because the school board and superintendent were denying his daughter’s sexual assault at Stone Bridge high school, and refused to let him speak of it, after which an activist parent allegedly accused him of lying and threatened to destroy him. Now, Luke Rosiak, who broke that first story, is back with the news that LCPS has failed at least twice to record sexual assaults, despite being legally required to do so.

COVER-UP: Loudoun County Schools Failed to Report Multiple Rapes Over Years

Although Virginia law requires that “Reports shall be made to the division superintendent and to the principal or his designee on all incidents involving … sexual assault,” Rosiak’s research revealed Loudoun County Public Schools failed to “record multiple known incidents of alleged sexual assault.”

The law also states that school superintendents can be held “personally liable for violations.”

Emphasis added, mostly for the benefit of Loudoun Superintendent Scott Ziegler, who claimed at a June school board meeting that “To my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.”

Woke Walmart trains staffers in critical race theory: US a ‘white-supremacy system’

Walmart’s Walton Family says you’re a racist.

Woke Walmart has trained more than 1,000 employees in critical race theory, denouncing the US as a “white-supremacy system” — and telling staffers to accept their “guilt and shame” and stop thinking “white is right,” according to leaked documents.

The retail giant confirmed to City Journal that it has been working with the Racial Equity Institute, a North Carolina company devoted to “creating racially equitable organizations.”

Ohio State Education Board Repeals Racial Equity Resolution, Condemns ‘Collective Guilt’ Training

The Ohio State Board of Education has rescinded a racial equity resolution it adopted last summer, citing a “troubling focus” on students’ skin color rather than their character.

The resolution in question, approved in July 2020 amid the nationwide unrest sparked by George Floyd’s death, highlighted “significant gaps” in academic performance between black students and their white peers, acknowledging that “profound disparities” between white and non-white students “exist in all parts of the Ohio education system.”

Christopher Rufo: Hierarchical Elites Use Critical Race Theory To Gain Riches And Power

Critical race theory is just another scheme for hierarchical elites to get rich quick and gain bureaucratic power, said journalist Christopher Rufo on “The Truth with Lisa Boothe” Wednesday.

“Like any good Marxists throughout history, the people in charge of the regime or the ideology always manage to get rich,” Rufo said. “You see Ibram Kendi striking multimillion-dollar deals left and right. … This ideology is self-serving for elites. So people like Ibram Kendi, people like Nikole Hannah-Jones, people like the Secretary of Education, they can use this ideology to secure their own status and power as left-wing elites, while really offering nothing to the tens of millions of poor kids, of any racial background in our country. Critical race theory offers them nothing, offers them no means of improving their lives, no means of making their way up the ladder.”
