Abolishing DEI may be the only way out of the Leftist ideological capture of American campuses, Jonathan Haidt told an audience at the University of North Carolina (UNC), Chapel Hill, on Wednesday.

Those words mark a dramatic departure for Haidt, who has been known as a restrained, moderate voice on the subject of cancel culture, identity politics and what he calls the obsession with “safetyism” that has gripped Gen Z in the past decade. Haidt, a professor Ethical Leadership at New York University’s Stern School of Business, is the author of “The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting Up a Generation for Failure,” and founder of the Heterodox Academy, an academic organisation committed to the ideals of viewpoint diversity and academic freedom.

Task force rejects calls for special employment status for Jewish, Muslim public servants

Months before the eruption of the Israel-Hamas war ramped up ethnic and religious tensions in many Canadian communities, a government task force rejected requests to recognize Muslim and Jewish public servants as separate groups facing systemic workplace barriers, CBC News has learned.

Muslim and Jewish public servants asked to be designated as employment equity groups under the Employment Equity Act nearly two years ago in submissions to the task force, set up by Employment and Social Development Canada.

Well the Task Force did the right thing. Rare for government nowadays with anti-White racism all the rage.

A 17-year-old girl has been arrested after two ‘rival Afghan and Romanian gangs’ sparked a mass machete brawl at Bournemouth college campus.

Five people were rushed to hospital yesterday after at least six people fought outside Bournemouth and Poole College.

It is believed that the fight was between rival groups of Afghan and Romanian students at the college, aged between 16 to 20.

Of all the crises afflicting the West, the rejection of truth in favour of fashionable lies is conceivably the most dangerous. And nowhere is the woke war on reality more apparent than in ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ (DEI). As more and more industries are overrun by this bilge, our nations race to unlearn the truths our ancestors had settled millennia ago. Contrary to Conservative Party policy, it’s generally preferable to house your veterans, not your enemies in 5-star accommodations; the military should be selected primarily based on their ability to fight, not on their proclivity for homosexuality; and putting men in dresses does not make them female, no matter how effeminate they were to begin with.

The New Segregation on Campus

If you’ve heard that the diversity, equity and inclusion agenda is going away, don’t believe it. An emerging practice at elite medical schools segregates students by race to teach them about alleged structural racism in healthcare.

The University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine requires that first year students take a class called “Structural Racism and Health Equity” as part of the standard curriculum. In one exercise for the course, students divide by racial group and retreat to different areas to discuss antiracist prompts.

This is known as racial caucusing, a teaching device that UCLA describes as an “anti-racist pedagogical tool” to “provide a reflective space for us to explore how our positionality—particularly our racial identities as perceived within clinical spaces—influence our interaction with patients, colleagues and other staff.”

‘Diversity’ just means discrimination

Amanda Blanc, the chief executive of insurance company Aviva, has revealed that no white males can be recruited to senior posts without her say-so. Speaking last week at a Treasury Select Committee hearing on sexism in the finance industry, Blanc said that there can be ‘no non-diverse hire at Aviva without it being signed off by me and the chief people officer’.

So there we have it. Laid bare for all to see, the pernicious effect of our national fixation with “diversity, equality and inclusion” (DEI). Aviva’s chief executive Amanda Blanc this week told MPs on the Treasury Select Committee that there is no senior “non-diverse” (white male) hire made at the company without her personal approval. There is no need, she implicitly admitted, to sign off on the appointments of non-white people and women. Most people would call that clear evidence of discrimination.

The good news is that Brit courts in recent years have found for white males who have encountered blatant discrimination such as this.

Ex-Facebook diversity manager pleads guilty to bilking $4M from company

A former Facebook diversity program manager pleaded guilty to scamming the social media giant out of more than $4 million through a scheme in which she faked business deals in exchange for kickbacks, the Justice Department said.

Barbara Furlow-Smiles, who served as lead strategist and global head of employee resource groups and diversity engagement at Facebook, used the stolen funds to live an extravagant lifestyle that spanned from California to Georgia, prosecutors said.

What should worry Canadians is the looming shadow of institutionalized anti-white racism and the politicization of our justice system.

Board of UK charity all face being sacked for being ‘white and privileged’ amid an anti-racism diversity drive

One of Britain’s wealthiest charities is changing its entire Board of Trustees as part of an anti-racism diversity drive after branding itself ‘white and privileged’.

The Tudor Trust is undergoing a woke makeover that has meant stopping all grants for 20 months while it ‘re-thinks’ its future and staff learn about ‘racial justice’ and ‘white supremacy culture’.

The organisation, which has assets of around £288million and gives about £20 million a year to good causes, was founded in 1955 by a bequest from Sir Godfrey Mitchell, founder of building giant George Wimpey, and several of his descendants are trustees.

Ethnocultural diversity is a prominent concern for businesses, educational institutions and governments nationwide. Canada chose the path to be a multicultural nation in 1971 when prime minister Pierre Trudeau introduced policies that promoted the inclusion of diverse perspectives and contributions while honouring Canadians’ unique differences. This commitment to diversity was enshrined within the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1982, and in 1987 Canada took a groundbreaking step by passing the Multicultural Act.

Fast forward to 2023, and the message from the federal government remains consistent, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently affirmed, “We’re a place that does diversity better than just about anywhere else.”

… Perhaps as a society, we haven’t fully embraced this vision. In our survey, we shared a list of nine values and asked Canadians to tell us how strongly they associated each one as a core value of being Canadian. Four values — democracy, freedom of speech, Canada’s social safety net, and equality of genders — were strongly associated with by a small majority of respondents. Is it concerning that multiculturalism and tolerance for different religious faiths took the bottom two spots on the list?


Canadians are rebelling at being force fed the slow poisons of multiculturalism and diversity but for some reason the article fails to mention the negative impact mass immigration is having on Canadian society.
