Roman Baber Commits to Firing Dr. Theresa Tam If He Becomes Prime Minister

Former Ontario MPP and Conservative leadership contender, Roman Baber, in a recent email to Conservative Party members pledged to “fire Dr. Tam on day 1” if he becomes the next prime minister of Canada.

Baber in his email said:

On September 2, 2020, Dr. Theresa Tam told Canadians to wear a mask during intimacy. That day, she lost any credibility she had left, but Justin Trudeau and many Conservatives are still afraid to challenge her. Not me.

As Prime Minister, I will fire Dr. Tam on my first day in office!

Baber as one of the more socially and fiscally liberal leadership candidates has been leaning into his opposition to COVID-19 restrictions and mandates, which he became well-known for after he was removed from the Ontario PC Party for openly challenging Premier Doug Ford’s draconian approach to public health in January of 2021.

One quarter of Canadians believe online conspiracy theories, expert tells MPs

A quarter of Canadians believe in online conspiracy theories, an expert on radicalization and terrorism told a parliamentary committee Thursday.

David Morin, a professor at the Université de Sherbrooke, said a poll conducted for an upcoming report he is preparing for the Quebec government found that 9 to 10 per cent of Canadians strongly believe in conspiracy theories, while another 15 per cent moderately believe them.

Morin told members of the public safety and national security committee that some of those who believe conspiracy theories — “but not all” — have “a sympathy towards violence.”

Mobile hospitals that cost Ottawa $300-million sit in storage while Omicron strains Canada’s health system

Ontario has ‘eliminated all our defences’ against COVID subvariant: epidemiologist

An infectious disease expert says “there’s no doubt” a sixth wave of COVID-19 is sweeping across Ontario, and it’s being driven by the highly transmissible BA.2 subvariant at the same time restrictions have been lifted across the province.

“We’ve opened the doors to a new variant,” Colin Furness, an expert in infectious disease epidemiology from the University of Toronto, told CTV National News. “Then eliminated all of our defences.”

Adverse cardiovascular, thrombotic, and neurologic events related to the Covid vaccine have occurred around the world. As I and others have noted before, the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) own vaccine adverse event tracking system (the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS) shows substantial and serious risks from the vaccine, even though the FDA only collects an estimated 10 percent of all adverse events.

Still, federal agencies and manufacturers aren’t officially warning American public about these risks, despite having known this information for almost a whole year. The narrative that receiving vaccines and boosters, possibly forever, is a patriotic duty has superseded the traditional and normal standards of public health and safety.

Masks don’t do anything. Stop wearing them.

Whether it was the obsessive rules about masking, punitive vaccine mandates or the bullying tactics used against the unvaccinated, Canada’s Covid policies were characterized by repeated failures.

The public health advice was confusing, hypocritical, hectoring and oftentimes, completely counter to what we knew about the virus. It was opposed to scientific knowledge.
