U.S. Campuses: Grooming Terrorists

While protesters at Columbia University and Yale University celebrate Hamas and its “resistance” (a euphemism for violence and terrorism), Arabs have been ridiculing the “pro-Palestinian” demonstrators on American college campuses. For these Arabs, including some Palestinians, there is nothing “pro-Palestinian” about supporting the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist group, whose members slaughtered 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped more than 240 others on October 7, 2023.

McGill calls pro-Palestinian camp illegal, levels accusations of antisemitism at protesters

McGill University on Monday declared a pro-Palestinian encampment on its campus, which grew significantly but remained peaceful over the weekend, illegal and denounced alleged antisemitic behaviour among protesters.

In a statement Monday, McGill said the growing encampment violates the university’s policies and the law. It said it discussed “conditions in place to ensure safety as well as a timeline to remove the tents” with lawyers for McGill students but that students “did not bring any proposals or suggestions to further the dialogue.”

Stop Importing Foreign Hatred

After the October 7 attacks, thousands took to American streets to celebrate. Some explicitly praised the heinous acts of rape, beheading, and kidnapping of civilians. Among these demonstrators were many noncitizens, including those on student visas. Universities such as MIT refrained from suspending students who neglected their classes in order to protest, seeking to protect those students’ immigration status.

Hard habit to break for our politicians, they like the votes.

Hostin Backs Pro-Hamas Camps: ‘Anti-War Protests’ Against ‘Apartheid’

Finally, back from their spring break, Monday was the first day the liberal ladies of ABC’s The View were able to spout off about the anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas encampments sweeping across college campuses. Staunchly racist and anti-Semitic co-host, Sunny Hostin (the descendant of slave owners) didn’t disappoint as she threw her lot in with the students chanting for the murder of Jews. She decried those who told the truth about the students and whined about the anti-Semitic designation.

Israel reduces number of hostages to be released in Hamas deal to 33 – report

Israel has reduced the number of hostages it demands to be released in the first phase of a hostage deal with Hamas to 33, according to a Monday Kan News report.

According to a New York Times exclusive, Israel initially sought to release 40 hostages, including women, children, the seriously ill, and female soldiers. However, a revision occurred partly due to Israel’s belief, as indicated by one official, that some of the 40 captives may have died while in captivity.

US campus protests: Rival Gaza protest groups clash at UCLA

Pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel groups have clashed at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as demonstrations over the war in Gaza continue across US campuses.

Nationwide rallies – during which there have been hundreds of arrests – showed no sign of stopping over the weekend.

At UCLA “physical altercations broke out” after a barrier separating the two sides was breached, an official said.

Lots of give and take … UCLA

SHOCKA! Polls reveal all the usual suspects hate Jews and or Israel!

Jamie Sarkonak: Canada not ‘engulfed’ in antisemitism — for the most part, study says

Aside from a few pockets, most of Canada is still morally calibrated against antisemitism.

That’s my takeaway from a study that came out earlier this month on Canadian attitudes toward Jews and Israel by University of Toronto sociologist Robert Brym. He found, through surveys taken in early 2024, that Canadians with the most negative sentiments towards Jews were Muslims, Quebecers and non-Jewish university students. Those with the most negative sentiments towards Israel, meanwhile, included Muslims and non-Jewish university students, as well as NDP supporters. The rest, not so much.

Israel gears up for potential ICC warrants over Gaza actions

Israel instructed its embassies abroad to prepare for a severe antisemitic backlash should the International Criminal Court issue arrest warrants against top Israeli leaders and army brass over their actions in Gaza, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz (Likud) issued messages on the matter both to Israeli missions abroad and to Jewish organizations, suggesting that the latter work with local authorities to increase security.

Why Are Women in America Cheering for Hamas and Iran?

These pro-Jihad protests are one way to escape the ongoing female realities in the West.

Have you noticed that young women all across America are demonstrating for Hamas, Iran, and Palestine? Why would such privileged and educated women, the heirs to the #MeToo movement and to Second and Third Wave Western feminisms, cheer for male rapists and male killers, arguably the most blood-thirsty and sadistic misogynists this side of Ghenghis Khan? Why side with Islamist barbarians who have jailed, tortured, and executed their own women over a slipped Islamic veil, and who would forcibly convert their Western female admirers to Islam, veil them as well, and coerce them into polygamous marriages?

Ilhan Omar: Jewish students should be safe ‘whether they are pro-genocide or anti-genocide’

In response to a question regarding how the protests at Columbia University would influence antisemitism on campus at Columbia University, US Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota referred to Jewish students as “pro-genocide or anti-genocide.”

Omar’s remarks about Jewish students came while visiting Columbia University on Friday.

We must get US masses to care about Israel

… But most Americans are in the middle. They don’t care much about anything. They not only do not know where Gaza is, but they do not know what Hamas stands for, or what Hamas holds holy. If you told them, they would probably listen – just like they would listen to the detractors. And their takeaway would be that a keffiyeh makes a very attractive scarf.

When people stop caring, they stop caring about everything. “Right” and “wrong,” “evil” and “justice” become just words. Issues-based dialogue and decisions become less relevant, often even totally irrelevant.

New York City’s Jewish Population Under ‘Dark Cloud’ as Tensions Rise

The sense of opportunity Efraim Alkoby found in New York was rocked last month when someone splattered red paint on the kosher cafe he owns on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Alkoby, who grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family in Jerusalem, said he learned to be tolerant during his 30 years in New York. Now, someone opposed to Israel’s war in Gaza wrote “form line here to support genocide” on the sidewalk outside Effy’s Cafe.

“There’s a very dark cloud over Jews,” Alkoby, 48 years old, said in an interview.
