John Ivison: University instructor fights back after being suspended for daring to denounce Hamas

The reason academic politics are so bitter is because so little is at stake, it’s said.

But to Paul Finlayson the stakes of his suspension from the University of Guelph-Humber are high indeed. Teaching is his career and his passion, and it has been taken away from him, without process or explanation, by an employer that appears to have been cowed by cancellers and bullies.

Trudeau condemns mosque attack, says Islamophobia ‘has no place’

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday condemned an attack against a mosque in the city of Mississauga, which is being probed as a hate crime and which rights advocates described as being part of a rise in Islamophobia.

Police said someone threw two rocks through the window of a Mississauga mosque on Sunday, on the eve of the anniversary of a mosque attack in Quebec city that killed six people in 2017. CBC News said no one was injured in the incident.

“Islamophobia has no place in any of our communities,” Trudeau said on X, formerly called Twitter.

No proof it was hate motivated, but like the Hijab hoax truth doesn’t matter to Trudeau.

UNRWA nominated for Nobel Peace Prize, amid allegations workers took part in Oct. 7

OSLO, Norway — A Norwegian politician said Thursday that he has nominated the UN Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA, embroiled in a controversy over the alleged involvement of employees in the Hamas-led October 7 terror onslaught against Israel, for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Labour MP Asmund Aukrust told the Dagbladet newspaper he had nominated the UN Relief and Works Agency “for its long-term work to provide vital support to Palestine and the region in general.”

So that’s what you get for having 10% of your staff terrorists!

A dozen NYC art galleries soaked with ‘blood’ and ‘intifada’ graffiti dubbed ‘antisemitic’

A slew of art galleries across New York City have been hit with anti-Israel graffiti and daubed with red paint — yet some gallery owners have controversially chosen to keep the attacks secret.

Insiders are divided on whether to dismiss the perpetrators as a nuisance and ignore them, or decry what they see as rank antisemitism. Some gallery owners say that they don’t want to lend credibility to the vandals by publicizing the attacks, and still others say that as artists, it would be hypocritical to repress expression.

Canada may impose sanctions on extremist Israeli settlers in West Bank & maybe even on Hamas too says Foreign Minister Joly

Canada may impose sanctions on some Jewish setters in the West Bank and is renewing calls for a two-state solution as the devastating Israel-Hamas war enters its third month, Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said after she arrived in Ukraine on Friday.

“We are working on addressing the issue of extremist settlers in the West Bank through immigration measures and sanctions,” she told The Globe and Mail in an interview. “We are working with the G7 on this.”

… She added that senior members of Hamas, the Palestinian military and political group that has governed the Gaza Strip since 2007, and who are considered a terrorist organization by Canada, the United States, the European Union and Israel, “may also be sanctioned.”

Inside the elite Israeli assassination unit steeped in history

Dressed as a woman, a prime minister in the making raided a building on a crowded Beirut street in 1973, assassinating several members of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation in retribution for the massacre of Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics the previous year.

An hour before sunrise on Tuesday this week, Israeli agents disguised as doctors, women and patients entered the Ibn Sina hospital in the militant stronghold of Jenin in the north West Bank to kill a Hamas commander and two local militiamen they say were about to commit a terror attack.

Cut Off the UNRWA – It is a corrupt, Jew-hating, anti-American, terrorist-training institution.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA, pronounced “un-ruh”) is a corrupt, Jew-hating, anti-American, United Nations terrorist-training institution. Under the guise of “humanitarian aid” and “education of children,” this satanic agency, composed substantially of terrorists, murderers, and their supporters, has schooled Arab children for 75 years to hate and murder Jews — ever since Israel’s founding in 1948. UNRWA is singularly responsible, more than any other Agent of Satan, for the Gazan Arab effort in perpetuity to destroy Israel.

Palestinian Terrorists, Hospitals, and Plans for Palestinian State

The Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital is one of several medical facilities in the West Bank city of Jenin, which is under the exclusive control of the Palestinian Authority (PA). As such, the hospital operates in accordance with a license from the PA’s Ministry of Health.

On January 30, Israeli security forces found and killed three Palestinian terrorists who were hiding inside the hospital. A statement issued by the Iran-backed Hamas group identified the three terrorists as Mohammed Walid Jalamneh and brothers Mohammed and Basel al-Ghazawi. Al-Jalamneh was described as a commander of Hamas’s armed wing, the Izaddin al-Qassam Brigades, while the two brothers were labeled by Palestinians as mujahideen (holy warriors) belonging to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, another Iran-backed Palestinian terrorist proxy group.

Canada warned to cut off military exports to Israel or face legal challenge by Hamas supporters

A coalition of Canadians and Palestinians is urging Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly to cut off military exports to Israel, warning it may bring a legal challenge if Ottawa fails to act.

The group, which includes Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights and Al-Haq – Law in the Services of Man, an independent Ramallah-based NGO, argues that Ottawa’s Export and Import Permits Act prevents the federal government from issuing permits to export military goods and related technology to Israel owing to the “substantial risk” these could be used to commit serious violations of international law and serious acts of violence against women and children.

The “substantial risk” test was added to Canadian law in 2018 by then-foreign affairs minister Chrystia Freeland.

Grab some popcorn and enjoy as Identity Politics bites Freeland and the Liberals in the ass.

This is from last nights Yuk Yuk’s protest against a Pro-Israel fundraiser. As Kath used to say – Too stupid to really be Jewish.

Women’s genitals ‘systemically mutilated’ in Hamas attack, says Israeli reservist who dealt with bodies

A reservist who dealt with the aftermath of the Hamas terror attack says there was a “systematic genital mutilation” of women as multiple victims were shot in the crotch, breasts and head.

Shari Mendes was part of an Israeli army reserve unit whose role was to identify and prepare female soldiers for burial.

She told Sky News’ The World With Yalda Hakim she was at the Shura base on 8 October, where victims were brought the day after the attack that killed more than 1,200 people.

Jewish groups condemn ‘toolkit on teaching Palestine’ at York University

Prominent Jewish groups, including an on-campus association, are reacting to the charge that a York University union distributed a toolkit to teaching assistants, advising them to divert tutorials to discuss “Palestinian liberation” and conflict in the Middle East.

On Tuesday, York University said it was seeking a meeting with CUPE Local 3903 over a document circulated called a “toolkit on teaching Palestine” that asked union members to “collectively divert” lessons to the topic of the Middle East during the week of Jan. 21.

Designate UNRWA as a Terrorist Organization

Jihad textbook provided by UNRWA

Rather than ‘relief and works,’ what UNRWA provides is rabid antisemitic indoctrination, rockets, and jihadists.

It is mind-boggling to read in the New York Times this morning that the Biden State Department is assuring its fellow transnational progressives and Hamas pom-pom squads not to worry because only a tiny amount of American taxpayer funding for the Hamas branch known as the United Nations “Relief and Works” Agency for Palestinian “Refugees” (UNRWA — my sneer quotes) has been “paused” (more sneering).

Terry Glavin: UNRWA exists only to push the delusion that Israel is a temporary state

Every morning in Gaza, schoolchildren stand in a line facing in the direction of Israel and recite these words: “Palestine is our country, our aim is to return. Death does not frighten us, Palestine is ours. We will never forget her. Another homeland we will never accept! Our Palestine, witness, O God and History: We promise to shed our blood for you!”

This isn’t some recent discovery of yet another instance of jihadist indoctrination in a United Nations Relief and Works Agency school revealed by the tireless Montrealer Hillel Neuer of UN Watch, or an anecdote in the Wall Street Journal’s bombshell report Tuesday to the effect that a dozen UNRWA employees had a hand in the Oct. 7 Hamas atrocities that have triggered the bloodiest episode in the Israel-Palestine conflict since the 1940s.

‘They train us how to shoot’: How Yemeni children are recruited as Houthi foot soldiers

Lured to ‘camps’ with the promise of food and money for their families, boys as young as seven are then forced to join the militia’s ranks

It was an offer too good to refuse.

A month or so of food rations during a time of war led Ayman, 14, to a summer camp on the edge of Yemen’s dusty port city of Hodeidah.

There was also the promise of teaching, albeit under the religious zealotry of the Houthi rebels who controlled the camp.

But it wasn’t long until Ayman and his classmates had a rifle in their hands.
