Canada lists Ansarallah, known as the Houthis, a terrorist entity

The Canadian government has listed the Yemeni militant group Ansarallah, commonly known as the Houthis, as a terrorist group in an effort to “fight terrorism globally.”

In a statement released on Monday, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada said that Ansarallah, a Yemeni militant group, has met the definition of a “terrorist group” under Canada’s Criminal Code.

Something’s Burning in Trudeau’s Canada

The 70th annual session of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, held Nov. 22-25 in Montreal, hit a snag on its first evening when violent activists tried to disrupt the event.

Metropolitan police were unprepared for the organized assault. So was Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who seems to have had no inkling of the possible security risks that a NATO summit in his country might present. No, the Canadian leader wasn’t out to lunch. He was at a Taylor Swift concert in Toronto.

The Gentle Art of Negotiating with Terrorists

The first rule of negotiating with Islamic terrorists is don’t. The second rule is if you do it, do it with heavy artillery.

Islamic terrorists don’t negotiate. They make demands in hopes of securing concessions without actually giving up anything. Only the most dedicated historian could find an example of a negotiation process during which the Islamic terrorists made an actual concession, followed through on it, and did not later take it back or turn right around and go back to terrorism.

How Montreal became the antisemitism capital of North America

There is an old saying that when the United States sneezes, Canada catches a cold. Recent events in Canada, however, suggest that the US should immunize itself from a dangerously virulent virus that has swept across the nation — nowhere more so than in Montreal:  Open Jew hatred.

According to the Toronto Sun, last year, Montreal has endured the most antisemitic hate crimes of any city in North America.

Indeed, since the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre in Israel, antisemitic incidents in Canada have increased by an astounding 670%.

Canadian Jews — a miniscule 1.4% of the nation’s population — were the victims of 70% of religious-based hate crimes during roughly the same period.

Trudeau and police send wrong signals to Jews and resident Hamas supporters

It was another distressing week for Canadian Jews and those alarmed by the rise of antisemitism in our common life and on our streets.

There was the violent riot in Montreal, where an amalgam of anti-NATO protesters and university student activists somehow managed to include Israel, Zionists, and Jews as targets of their graffiti, vandalism, and car-burning. Israel is not part of NATO and Zionism has nothing to do with tuition policy in Quebec.

They know the message they’re sending.

Charging Netanyahu with War Crimes Shows the ICC Is Illegitimate and Not Fit for Purpose

The decision by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant on unsubstantiated war crimes charges, shows that the body is unfit for purpose, and should be defunded, dismantled, or both.

First, by law, the ICC is precluded from prosecuting any country that already has a valid judiciary system. This stipulation is the based on the treaty upon which the ICC was founded.

As antisemitism on public transit skyrockets, TTC begs Toronto Police chief for help

Toronto’s explosion of antisemitism prompted an appeal for help from the head of Toronto’s transit system.

In a letter from interim TTC CEO Greg Percy to Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw, Percy said staff are dealing with a worrying rise in hateful graffiti across the transit system targeting Jewish Torontonians.

“We have noticed an exceptionally high concentration of these incidents on our subway trains at terminal stations and along surface routes like College, University and Spadina,” Percy wrote in his letter.

There’s a rumour afoot that this may be due in large part to Trudeau’s Great Replacement immigration policy. OK, mum’s the word!

Pro-Palestine marchers compare Gaza conflict to the Holocaust

Israel supporters confronted pro-Palestine marchers brandishing signs comparing the Gaza conflict to the Holocaust on Saturday.

Counter-protesters from Stop Hate UK gathered near Piccadilly Circus along the route of the National Demonstration for Palestine, urging those taking part to “stop supporting terror”.

Police kept the two sides apart as the Palestine march made its way towards Whitehall.

Allegations of Abuse, Concerns Over Funding Plague United Nations Peacekeeping Missions

Captured Hezbollah fighters testify that the terrorist group paid money to the peacekeepers to use their bases to conduct their operations.

For decades, United Nations peacekeepers have been promoted as critical civilian lifelines amid some of the world’s most harrowing conditions. Yet those who have already endured violence, displacement and poverty still fear that those deployed to protect them may only amplify their suffering.

Last month, Israel ignited international condemnation for firing on numerous bases belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, the peacekeeping mission founded in 1978 under a Security Council resolution. While its target is Hezbollah, the Israel Defense Forces contend that the UN peacekeeping mission, largely funded by America, functioned in the pocket of the designated terrorist group.

Author of anti-Israel book Biden bought has searing four-word response

The author of the anti-Israel book purchased by Joe Biden has criticized the president for his ‘too little too late’ purchase at a local bookshop.

The lame-duck president made headlines on Black Friday during a shopping trip at Nantucket Bookworks, holding a copy of The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonial Conquest and Resistance, 1917-2017.

The book, by Columbia University professor emeritus Rashid Khalidi, was visible to the press as Biden left the store. Khalidi later remarked to the New York Post that Biden’s interest came ‘four years too late.’

YouTube blocks promotion of ‘Why Canada Must Support Israel’ video saying it ‘incites hatred’: Aristotle Foundation

A video advocating for Canadians to support Israel in the war against Hamas was flagged for inciting hatred on YouTube and blocked from paid promotion, the creators say.

The 18-minute video, created by the Aristotle Foundation, outlines landmark events in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict and accuses Canadians of understanding the situation “exactly backwards.”

As the Middle East ceasefire shows, it’s a fallacy that ideas can’t be defeated

In June, the terrorist group Jemaah Islamiyah announced it was disbanding, laying down arms, renouncing violence and removing extremist teachings from madrassas.

An operationally independent ally of al-Qaida, JI had for decades fought to establish a radically pure Islamic state inside Indonesia, which is 87 per cent Muslim but constitutionally secular. The group also promised to turn over to the government names of its military wing members. It was a full-bore capitulation.

Correction: Canada was betrayed by its elites who have encouraged anti-White racism to thrive

Avi Benlolo: Canada betrays itself by letting antisemitism thrive

A nation’s moral character is defined by how it treats its minorities. By this measure, Canada’s treatment of its Jewish population today raises grave concerns. Over the past decade, our national identity and the values we once upheld have eroded. Who are we as Canadians? This loss of identity has created a void, exploited by Canada’s detractors to instill values that clash with the country we once knew.

Across government, schools, unions, and the media, a toxic environment has emerged, fuelling hostility against Jewish Canadians. When political leaders fail to stand with Israel, it gives permission for hatred to fester at home. Actions like Mélanie Joly’s visit to Ramallah, legitimizing the Palestinian Authority despite its ties to terrorism, betray Jewish Canadians and their homeland.

The article touches on issues we’ve discussed on this blog but to my view fails by not acknowledging that the “success” of Elite approved anti-White racism is responsible for the vehemence of Canada’s current outbreak of antisemitism. Hating Whites, even white children, is perfectly acceptable in Canada and that “victory” has emboldened the antisemites.

The antisemitism we currently witness is not the result of ordinary Canadians going rogue.

It is our elites who created Canada’s toxic immigration stew.

The elites imported masses from incompatible cultures that have little connection to our western heritage and values, Jews are simply an after thought for these groups.

It was the elites not ordinary citizens who encouraged Muslim settlement, a primary source of Canada’s antisemitism.

The elites teach immigrants that Canadians are merely White skinned settler-oppressors who have no claim to the nation built and defended by our ancestors.

The elites encouraged ethnic and religious balkanization by deliberately abandoning any requirement of immigrants to assimilate into Canadian culture.

The elites deliberately impoverished Canadians simply to ensure a pool of cheap labour and future ethnic vote blocs without care for the economic and cultural wreckage that has ensued.

The elites bludgeoned ordinary Canadians who opposed their divisive immigration policy by slandering us as racists and Islamophobes.

The elites demonize and discriminate against ordinary Canadians by racist affirmative action laws and DEI witch hunts. As a longtime fellow warrior notes; “DEI weakened the white, European, Judeo-Christian majority culture so much that people no longer have an authoritative basis for determining between right and wrong and thousands of years of history were thrown out in favour of “fairness.”

Muslims aside the worst incidents of antisemitism spring from our privileged elite culture, our universities & schools, our political class, media and public service.

This morning a friend and I were musing about how good Canada was when we were children. That Canada was destroyed by our elites.

Few speak up for us, for our stolen birthright. Our voices are ignored and suppressed.

I will end with this: Batya Ungar-Sargon on antisemitism & the demonization of the working class by Jewish leadership: “The American working class is our bulwark against becoming like Canada, becoming like Europe.”

This clip will begin at roughly the 34 minute mark.

I maintain my belief that the “silence” of previously reliable support noted by the Jewish community  stems at least in part from the foolish embrace of racist policies like DEI and CRT by Jewish leadership.
