Leaflets in London: ‘Every Zionist Needs to Leave Britain or Be Slaughtered’

What is happening in Britain today could all too easily happen here, and that’s why every American should note the rising tide of antisemitism there, and particularly its frankly and unapologetically menacing edge.

Pierre Poilievre is trying to own Justin Trudeau for respecting international law says Blackie’s Star

There was a time when sneering at international law would not have been a good look for someone aspiring to be Prime Minister of Canada.

But, charting new territory, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre contemptuously called Justin Trudeau “woke” for indicating Canada would abide by a ruling of the International Criminal Court (ICC) — a court that Canada helped establish to punish war criminals.

Mass arrests at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as anti-Israel protesters block procession

Anti-Israel protesters tried to ruin the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the second year running Thursday, with cops quickly swarming in to make more than 20 arrests.

Protesters entered the parade route at W. 55th Street and Sixth Avenue, stopping the Ronald McDonald balloon in its tracks — and prompting loud boos from parade-goers screaming at the group of about 20 to move.

‘All for nothing’ — Israelis’ fury over Netanyahu’s ceasefire deal

The reasons not to return are clear for Rachel Amar, an evacuee from the Israeli border town of Kiryat Shmona where, only hours before Binyamin Netanyahu announced the ceasefire in Lebanon, a Hezbollah rocket hit a bus station.

Sitting in one of Tel Aviv’s finest beachfront hotels as she weighed the news of Israel’s truce and the prospect of returning home, Amar had doubts. “What are we doing here? This agreement doesn’t give us security,” she said. “We are so close [to Lebanon]. I keep imagining October 7 will happen to us — it’s a matter of luck that it didn’t.”

The Doomed Marriage of the Far Left and Islamism

The far-left deputies of La France Insoumise have just quietly proposed a bill in the French National Assembly to repeal the offence of apology for terrorism. Today, the end of this legal offence would mainly benefit these same MPs, who give unlimited support to organisations close to Hamas and Hezbollah. To mark the occasion, Le Figaro Magazine has devoted a major investigation to revealing the many links between the French far Left and Islamism—at the crossroads of electoral opportunism and ideological conviction.

Ceasefire in Lebanon to be announced

A ceasefire in Lebanon will be announced at 10 p.m. by the United States and France, according to Lebanese channel Al Jadeed.

Presidents Biden and Macron will announce the deal during the night, with the alleged agreement set to take effect at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

This comes after several days of strained last-minute negotiation, in which Israel pushed for the removal of France as guarantor of the security situation in Lebanon, citing current diplomatic tensions between France and Israel.

Montreal rabbi says police told him to move away from pro-Palestinian protesters

A local rabbi is speaking out after he says police asked him to leave the site of a pro-Palestinian protest in downtown Montreal, saying his presence was a provocation.

Adam Scheier, the head of Congregation Shaar Hashomayim, said Sunday he was asked to move away from an area where protesters were marching downtown, for fear that his presence, as a person wearing a Jewish skullcap or kippah, could provoke violence. Neither Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante nor the Montreal police have commented on the event.

Why Palestinians Will Not Have New Leaders

Palestinian leaders have a long history of cracking down on their political rivals and opponents. For the past three decades, leaders of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas have systematically targeted political activists, journalists, social media users, students, professors and human rights activists as part of an ongoing campaign to silence critics and deter others from speaking out against the lack of democracy and freedom of speech.
