Islamic group calling for Shariah law cancels Canadian event after U.K. declares it a terrorist entity

The day after an Islamic organization was declared a terrorist group in Britain, the group’s Canadian branch cancelled a conference it was hosting this weekend that was calling for the resurrection of the Muslim caliphate and the imposition of Shariah law.

Hizb ut Tahrir Canada was convening its conference on Saturday in Mississauga, just outside Toronto, called the Khilafah Conference 2024. Khilafah is the Arabic word for caliphate, referring to a Muslim community governed under Islamic law.

Illinois man is charged with murder of his three daughters and wife

This is the 63-year-old Illinois father who shot dead his wife and three daughters during ‘an argument’ at their home in Tinley Park on Sunday.

Maher Kassem has been charged with three counts of murder for killing wife Majeda and daughters Zahia and Halema, 25, and Hanan, 24.

Friends say the family were devout Muslims and Palestinian activists. Zahia, who also went by Zee, had recently visited Mecca.

Their mother Majeda devoted her life to ‘family and religion’, according to a fundraising site dedicated to completing a mosque in Mali in the family’s memory.

US, Australia and UK sanction Hamas-funders linked to Iran and China

Canada is also a “host” to Iranian threat networks former RCMP expert says

The U.S. Treasury, along with United Kingdom and Australian agencies, has slapped sanctions on Hamas-affiliated currency traders in Gaza with links to Chinese bank accounts and funds from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

In a press statement Monday, the U.S. government explained its financial strike on the terror-financing networks funding Hamas against Israel, and warned that banks in other nations found to be facilitating these networks could be subject to “enforcement action.”

Islamists are wreaking havoc in British schools

Secular education is under concerted attack from hardline Muslim activists.

Maintaining authority in the classroom is difficult at the best of times. But it’s even harder when schools are being turned into sites of political conflict. In recent years, many of these conflicts have involved Islamist activists and Muslim parents who wish to impose their cultural and political ethos on the classroom. Their aim is to refashion schools in their own image. Those who stand in the way often court the risk of being accused of Islamophobia.

Prior to Oct 7 much was made of the alliance between Muslims and Christians fighting to keep at bay the perverts embedded in our education system.

I hate to say I told you so, but I warned at the time to be careful what you wish for.

Maybe good will yet come of the alliance. Who knows.

Why Did the FBI ‘Disappear’ the Boston Bomber’s Jihadist Wife?

“They deleted her from a lot of the public records so that she couldn’t be tracked.”

I hadn’t thought about it in a while, but the Messenger went out and dug up this old story with an odd twist.

Katherine Russell pulled off a seeming vanishing act shortly after her husband, notorious Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed in a shootout with police days after the bloody 2013 terror attack.

Don’t be like Germany …

Muslim religious leaders trained in Germany

Osman Soyer is a religious affairs officer who was sworn into office this month in the Sehitlik Mosque in Berlin’s Neukölln district. He is one of 28 young men and women who have been trained as “religious representatives” by DITIB, Germany’s largest Islamic organization. They are involved in a variety of pastoral duties; this can also include acting as imams, but the job description is broader.

Soyer has been working as an Islamic religious representative in Alfter, a town near Bonn in western Germany, for a few months now. Community outreach, he says, is his top priority. It includes a wide range of activities: “I teach pupils, I’m a prayer leader, preacher and pastor. We also go to weddings, I do funerals.”

The German left is so terrified of the AfD’s rise that there are calls to ban the party much like Hitler banned the opposition because it’s the AfD who are the fascists and these are entirely spontaneous demonstrations.

Germany sees second day of large anti far-right protests

After two days of mass protests, tens of thousands of people took to the streets of German cities on Sunday to demonstrate against the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and its anti-immigration agenda.

From Friday through the weekend, demonstrations were called in about 100 locations across Germany. On Sunday, rallies were held in major cities such as Cologne, Munich and Berlin. Several other German cities, including Cottbus, Dresden and Chemnitz in the east, also planned to hold demonstrations.

Police in Munich said that some 80,000 people participated in the march, while organizers put the figure at 200,000. The march had to be called off due to overcrowding.

Rochdale has exposed the horrors of political correctness

Yet another report has shown that grooming gangs were given a free pass because of ‘racial sensitivities’.

A new review into the authorities’ response to the grooming-gangs scandal in Rochdale, in the north-west of England, makes for depressing reading.

The report, published this week, is the third part of an independent review into the handling of child sexual exploitation in Greater Manchester. Authors Malcolm Newsam and Gary Ridgway tell an all-too-familiar story of the callous indifference of local authorities, of the police’s failure to protect the most vulnerable and of a complete lack of accountability.

144 Gazans on track to come to Canada, pending biometrics

Ottawa has processed visa applications for 144 people in the Gaza Strip, putting them on track to be reunited with extended family members in Canada — as long as they can make it across the border for biometric screening and final approval.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada opened a program to offer temporary visas to as many as 1,000 people in the besieged Palestinian territory, if their relatives can support them in Canada.

Europe’s new soundtrack: Takbir!

Birmingham England

The US dismissed warnings of an Islamist attack before 9/11, Israel dismissed warnings of a Hamas attack before 10/7, and Europe is making the same mistake.

The video comes from Birmingham, 1 and a half million inhabitants, the second largest city in England, 30 percent Islamic. An entire stadium shouting the Islamic takbir, the submission cry of the “infidels”.

Wikipedia: Takbir is a call to glorify Allah. Takbir is the Arabic term for the phrase Allahu Akbar, meaning “Allah is the greatest.”

Already in 2015 Reuters defined Birmingham as the “English Mecca”. And two years later the New York Times wondered why many English jihadists come from Birmingham. Yes, who knows why.

Islam Overtaking Europe?

Birmingham England

In New York, as in the Belgian parliament, you can meet more and more people who are convinced that the Islamization of Brussels — and London and other capitals, they often add — is now inevitable and only a matter of time.

The growth of the Muslim population in Brussels has been both enormous and meteoric. Over the past 50 years, the number of Muslims has grown steadily, and given the erasure of Europe’s borders, thanks to the 1985 Schengen Agreement, there seems to be no end in sight.

Britain’s strictest headteacher says she was forced to stop Muslim prayers after teachers were racially harassed

Katharine Birbalsingh has said she was forced to ban Muslim prayers after teachers were racially harassed.

The school leader, known as Britain’s strictest head teacher, is facing a High Court challenge from a Muslim pupil over the prayer policy at Michaela Community School.

Commenting on the row for the first time, she warned that “multiculturalism can only succeed” when every group makes sacrifices “for the sake of the whole”.

The heroes who helped bring down the Rochdale grooming gangs

These are the three heroes that played a crucial role in bringing down the Rochdale grooming gangs who targeted, abused and raped dozens of young girls.

Nazir Afzal, Maggie Oliver and Sara Rowbotham battled police and council bosses in order to seek justice after gangs of mainly Asian men destroyed the lives of a number of children in the Greater Manchester town between 2004 and 2012.

A new report published yesterday revealed the plight faced by the girls who were the subject of this abuse and the struggle they faced to be believed, as well as the harassment when they gave evidence against their abusers.
