“Hatred, Enmity, Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide”: The Persecution of Christians, March 2021

Uganda: After a mosque leaders’ wife embraced Christianity, and as a form of “retribution,” the imam ordered the rape of three Christian girls related to a local pastor; he also planned to attack the pastor’s church. “When my husband interrogated me about being a Christian, I refused to answer him,” the wife later explained:

“Soon a Christian neighbor told me that my husband was out to kill me, hence I should escape with my children. That particular day in the evening hours, I escaped with my five children. I am thankful that the church received us.”

The rapes of the Christian girls—aged 16, 17, and 19—came two days after the imam learned of his wife’s conversion. Before the orgiastic punishment, one of the girls heard one of the Muslims tell his fellow rapists not to harm them, since “we were sent only to bring embarrassment and a warning signal to the church.”

Sweden: Muslim migrant who received medal from king convicted of honor violence against his daughter

When he received his award, Rasoul Zarar Ibrahim was clearly considered a model of assimilation. But as this account notes, he still carried attitudes and assumptions from the Islamic culture of violence in his mental baggage. His daughter has paid the price. Will Swedish authorities try to protect women and girls in similar situations by working to eradicate such attitudes from Muslim migrants? Of course not. That would be “Islamophobic.”

Pakistan’s Imran Khan equates insulting cult idol Muhammad with Holocaust denial

Western governments should penalize Holocaust denial and insulting the Prophet Muhammad in the same manner, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said Saturday.

Denying the Holocaust is an illegal offense in several European countries — including Germany and France — and offenders can be sent to prison.

Khan wants to see governments take an equally harsh position on those who blaspheme against the Prophet Muhammad.

“I … call on Western governments who have outlawed any negative comment on the holocaust to use the same standards to penalise those deliberately spreading their message of hate against Muslims by abusing our Prophet,” Khan tweeted.

Pakistan shuts down access to Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites after days of violent anti-French protests by Islamists over Muhammad cartoons

Pakistan has blocked access to all social media after days of violent anti-France protests by radical Islamists over ‘blasphemous’ cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

Facebook and Twitter and other sites have been temporarily blocked on orders from the country’s interior ministry said Khurram Mehran, a spokesman for Pakistan’s media regulatory agency.

A reason for the block has not been provided and comes as police officials prepare to clear a large demonstration in the eastern city of Lahore.

‘Now We Can Torture and Kill Jews With Impunity’: Fury Among French Jews as Top Appeal Court Rejects Criminal Trial for Killer of Sarah Halimi

The family of Sarah Halimi — the French Jewish woman brutally murdered in her Paris apartment by an intruder who bellowed antisemitic slogans as he beat her relentlessly — lost their final court attempt to have her killer tried on Wednesday, as the country’s top appeals court upheld an earlier decision that he could not be held criminally responsible because his intake of marijuana on the night of the killing had rendered him temporarily insane.

Afghanistan: ‘We have won the war, America has lost’, say Taliban

Driving to Taliban-controlled territory doesn’t take long. Around 30 minutes from the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif, passing large craters left by roadside bombs, we meet our host: Haji Hekmat, the Taliban’s shadow mayor in Balkh district.

Perfumed and in a black turban, he’s a veteran member of the group, having first joined the militants in the 1990s when they ruled over the majority of the country.

The Taliban have arranged a display of force for us. Lined up on either side of the street are heavily armed men, one carrying a rocket propelled grenade launcher, another an M4 assault rifle captured from US forces. Balkh was once one of the more stable parts of the country; now it’s become one of the most violent.

All that “Nation Building,” all that blood and treasure down the drain. Hooda thunk it in a swell place like Afghanistan?

Iran’s State Media Says Jews Are the Problem — Not Israel

Iranian cartoon

Iran’s Al Alam TV again showed that its problem isn’t with Israel — but with all Jews.

An article railing against the UAE cooperation with Israel was illustrated with a photo of a bearded Jew in front of a menorah in Dubai. A caption read: “A dangerous and suspicious scheme revealed by the normal Gulf relations path”.

Why ISIS love to kill – Attempts to rationalise evil let its barbaric perpetrators off the hook

I used to think there was something demonically profound about Hannah Arendt’s diagnosis of Adolf Eichmann. He was “neither perverted nor sadistic… but terribly and terrifyingly normal”; he epitomised the “banality of evil”. Eichmann, in effect, was a bespectacled gimp who you wouldn’t look twice at in the street.

Yet he had played an active role in an industrial-sized enterprise of human cruelty and malevolence. There was something deeply unnerving about this: the disproportion between the smallness of this man and the Himalayan magnitude of the Holocaust. It didn’t seem to add up.

Rashida Tlaib calls for police to be abolished because force is ‘intentionally racist and cannot be reformed’ – calls Daunte Wright’s death ‘government-funded murder’

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has called for the abolishment of police following the fatal shooting of unarmed black man Daunte Wright.

The Michigan Rep. made the radical declaration on Twitter Monday – one day after Wright was shot dead at a traffic stop in Minnesota when a white cop reached for her gun instead of a Taser, which has been characterized as an accident.

‘It wasn’t an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist,’ Tlaib posted to Twitter.

Two Christian women face death penalty in Pakistan in case over Quran sticker

Two Christian women face allegations of blasphemy, a charge that carries a potential death penalty, after Muslim staff at a hospital accused them of removing a sticker carrying a verse from the Quran from a colleague’s locker.

Police in the eastern city of Faisalabad had to rescue the pair as a riot broke out at the hospital. Muslim medical staff staged a demonstration demanding legal action against the women.

Zionist group rips Omar, House Foreign Affairs over ‘deeply troubling’ tweets on Holocaust Remembrance Day

The head of the Zionist Organization of America ripped the House Foreign Affairs Committee and one of its members, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), on Friday following tweets on Holocaust Remembrance Day he deeded “antisemitic,” “hateful,” and “reprehensible.”

ZOA President Morton Klein told Breitbart News he had “deep concern” about a tweet from the official Twitter account of the House committee that did not “mention Jews and antisemitism” but rather only referenced “six million (unidentified) lives” as well as “general forces” of injustice and prejudice.

Klein also lashed out at Omar for a tweet he described as “hateful and antisemitic” and used to attack Israel on Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The Biden administration is Obama 2.0. This isn’t going to get better.
