Rashida Tlaib Poses Danger to America

Both Democrats and Republicans have recognized that Israel stabilizes and fortifies the powder keg called the Middle East. For the past 75 years since the establishment of the modern State of Israel this has been true. America needs Israel and Israel needs America. It is for all practical purposes a mutual admiration society.

Israel under Fire and The West’s Pusillanimous Response

When Russia invaded Ukraine last year, Western governments, international organizations, media and human rights groups quite rightly rallied round without hesitation, recognising the need to give unreserved moral support to a nation defending itself from violent attack.

We see a very different picture today as Israel is assaulted by aggressors in Gaza, to all intents and purposes a foreign country.

There is some commonality between the two conflicts, although they are on an altogether different scale. Russia and Gaza’s Islamic Jihad both believe the countries they are attacking are illegitimate, have no right to exist and need to be destroyed in their current forms by violence. Neither Ukraine nor Israel has any territorial ambitions or aggressive intent against their attackers — both Ukraine and Israel are fighting purely defensive wars to protect their civilian populations.

Israel and Gaza militants agree ceasefire – Palestinian sources

Israel and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) militants in the Gaza Strip have agreed a ceasefire from 19:00 GMT on Saturday to end five days of fighting, Palestinian sources have told the BBC.

The sources cited negotiations being brokered by Egypt. Israel and the PIJ are yet to comment on the issue.

On Tuesday, Israel launched air strikes on Gaza, saying it was targeting PIJ commanders who had planned attacks.

PIJ responded by firing a barrage of rockets at Israeli cities.

Terrorists are terrorists

There is nothing to negotiate, nothing to bargain. The terrorists want Israelis dead, period.

Terrorists are terrorists, period

Obviously, even at the moment when we write this, Israel is at war.

Then again, that is always the situation, because throughout the booby-trapped byways of Sharon’s Gaza, they are always preparing for the next round…and here it is.

Another war to end all wars.

Loss of life, for either side, means nothing to them. They are born, bred, raised, trained, and taught hatred and murder.

The Real Meaning of ‘From The River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free’

Anti-Israel students on many university campuses in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe often chant the slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” This slogan, which basically means Israel has no right to exist on the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea – in other words, all the land that currently makes up Israel — has long been endorsed by Islamist groups that openly call for eliminating Israel.

Nearly 600 rockets have been fired at Israel so far this week as Israel suffers its first casualty of the conflict.

A rocket fired by terrorists from the Gaza Strip struck a residential building in Rehovot this evening (Thursday).

One person was killed in the rocket strike, and five people were injured. This is the first fatality on the Israeli side since Operation Shield and Arrow began Monday night.

Four of the injured are in moderate condition, while one person is in light condition. The injured were taken to Kaplan Hospital.

Europe Day fete in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but not in Israel

Cancelling due to Ben Gvir’s presence is just the newest hypocrisy. Europe celebrates with dictators, but boycotts democratic Israel.

“The ambassadors of the European Union member states present in Qatar are pleased to invite you to a special event to celebrate Europe Day in Qatar”. And again: “Every year, on May 9, we celebrate the Schuman declaration. The EU ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Patrick Simonnet, has organized a lunch to celebrate Europe Day in Riyadh”. Same invitation in Türkiye.

Turkey’s Hizbullah Terrorists: Erdoğan’s New Ally

Turkey’s Hizbullah is not to be confused with the Lebanese Shia terror group Hezbollah, although their name has the same meaning in Arabic: The Party of God. Turkey’s Hizbullah is radically Sunni and pro-Kurdish.

At the peak of its violent campaign between 1991 and 2001, Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate announced that the organization’s ideology was “to fight every non-Islamic regime and administration in lands where Islam is not predominant.” In those years, Hizbullah had nearly 100 associations and NGOs under its auspices.

Jordanian MP Lauded as “Hero” for Smuggling Weapons into Israel

Imad Al-Adwan, a member of Jordan’s parliament, is being praised as a “hero” by many Jordanians and Palestinians after he was reportedly caught trying to smuggle weapons into Israel.

On April 22, Israeli authorities arrested Al-Adwan, 35, when he tried to cross from Jordan into Israel through the Allenby Bridge border crossing. A video posted on social media showed the contents of three bags containing 100 kilograms of gold, 12 automatic rifles and 270 semi-automatic pistols discovered in his possession.

Israel kills Hamas team blamed for shooting British family in West Bank

Israeli security forces today claimed to have killed the operatives from the Palestinian militant faction Hamas who shot dead three members of a British-Israeli family in the West Bank last month.

Terry Newman: Trudeau Liberals should extradite prof convicted in terrorist attack

LaPresse columnist Isabelle Hachey noted Friday that your perception of Lebanese-Canadian sociologist Hassan Diab will depend largely on what news source you read. In the French and European press, Diab, who was tried in absentia, is a convicted terrorist. In the English-Canadian press, he is a persecuted innocent. Hachey is right. It’s like we’re reading about Diab and Mirror Diab.

Terry Glavin: Anti-Israel conference in Ottawa set to go, despite connections to banned terror group

Samidoun Prisoner Solidarity Network

While Israelis are doing their best this week to rise above the unprecedented political turmoil in their country and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the world’s only Jewish state, an avant-garde Ottawa arts centre is getting ready to play host to an international conference this weekend, organized by a shadowy terror-connected network devoted to Israel’s destruction.

We all know why this is happening.

CBC must stop glorifying Palestinian terrorists

The Palestinian city of Nablus is located about 49 km. north of Jerusalem. With a population of some 157,000 Palestinians, Nablus is an ancient city in the heart of the West Bank.

However, Nablus’s rich history is not why this city has recently gained notoriety in the news. Over the past year, this town has been a point of friction between Israelis and Palestinians since the Lion’s Den terror group began using it as its base of operations.

Issues of Concern

Hamas is extreme in its ideology, which is radical Islamist. They have absolutely no desire to resolve their conflict with Israel in the ways that Western leaders hope and expect — which is settling the conflict by accepting what we have been calling a two‑part state for a very long time. That is not the objective of Hamas. The objective of Hamas is to destroy the State of Israel. Keeping the conflict going is, in a way, beneficial to them as a group even if it hurts normal people.

As long as Hamas holds onto that stance, stays with that extreme position and remains intransigent, the problem will never be resolved. I forget the count of the number of intifadas that we have seen or are going to see.

French court finds Hassan Diab guilty of involvement in 1980 Synagogue bombing

A French court has found Ottawa academic Hassan Diab guilty in absentia on charges related to the bombing of a Paris synagogue.

The Ottawa university lecturer, now 69, was accused by authorities of involvement in the 1980 Rue Copernic bombing in Paris, which killed four people and injured more than 40. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
