John Kerry is winding down his career as a diplomat. It can’t come soon enough. The White House climate czar recently announced he is stepping down to focus on President Biden’s reelection campaign. Over his decades in the Senate and executive branch, Kerry has embodied two of the worst trends in American politics: the collapse of the Northeast establishment, and the left’s unserious faddishness on foreign policy.

The corporate state is intent, apparently, on ramping up its propaganda against so-called “climate deniers,” presumably to set the rhetorical groundwork for more extreme legal and social action against them in the future. So it dispatched something called its “climate envoy,” John Kerry, to Scotland with that aim.

In his role as President Joe Biden’s climate czar, John Kerry has flown more than 180,000 miles—flights that emitted more than 9.5 million pounds of carbon, a Washington Free Beacon analysis found.

The Free Beacon reviewed 75 of Kerry’s official travel announcements from March 2021 to July 2022, which show Kerry has flown roughly 180,100 miles—the equivalent of traveling around the world more than seven times—to discuss climate change with various world leaders. Planes on average produce 53.3 pounds of carbon dioxide per mile traveled, according to carbon emissions modeling website BlueSkyModel, meaning Kerry’s flights have produced 9.54 million pounds, or 4,772 tons, of carbon—roughly 300 times the average American’s carbon footprint

Chinese state media on Thursday was delighted to report the Biden administration’s “climate envoy,” John Kerry, met with Chinese representatives at the World Economic Forum (WEF) to discuss “room for cooperation on climate change amid bilateral tensions.”

You have to admire the sense of humor on display by the editorial board at The Wall Street Journal some days. Their article from Friday carried the simple but amusing title, “John Kerry Says the Darndest Things.” They’re referring to a recent interview that Biden’s “climate envoy” did with Bloomberg TV. 

Sandra Sotomayor had villain of the week wrapped up, but John Kerry may have topped the radical justice’s wretchedness.

When the failed presidential candidate is not comforting the Viet Cong or assuaging Iran, he continues to embolden China’s genocidal aims while hurting America’s military readiness.
