Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, amid collapsing domestic approval ratings, is witnessing full-scale abandonment in the provinces, which is taking place as he moves to implement martial law on Freedom Convoy protesters who simply want their basic human rights respected.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been criticized by several civil liberties groups and politicians for invoking emergency powers to stop the protests across the country against COVID-19 restrictions.
The Canadian Civil Liberties Association has argued that the protests, which have snarled traffic in cities and at the border, did not meet the standard to have invoked the Emergencies Act.
Canada’s government seems to care only about maintaining control and saving face
It was the hot tub that did it. Photos of convoy supporters relaxing in a hot tub on a downtown Ottawa street last weekend were splashed all over the news. Now Justin Trudeau is mad and he’s gone and invoked war measures, known as the Emergencies Act. He wants that hot tub off the streets, pronto, and he needs wartime powers to get it done. Civil liberties remain “temporarily” suspended… just for two weeks, while we flatten the protesters!
Famed philosopher and Canadian sociology professor Jordan Peterson has been one of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s most outspoken critics over the latter’s treatment of the Freedom Convoy protests, declaring Friday that Trudeau “can’t stop a decentralized movement with bluster, threats or force.”
Two recent polls show Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s favorability is at 16%. The truckers are more unpopular than popular at 44% approval but they’re doing better than Trudeau.
So, to get his numbers up, Blackface Justin is declaring martial law against the truckers.
OTTAWA – Federal opposition parties say Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act is a “proof of failure” in dealing with convoy blockades across the country.
Trudeau’s proposal was also quickly dismissed by the premiers of Quebec, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. It received support from Ontario, where the blockades paralyzed a major U.S.-Canada bridge in Windsor and part of the downtown core around Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to announce the next steps the government will be taking to deal with the ongoing trucker convoy protests and blockades, after spending the morning consulting premiers on invoking the Emergencies Act which would grant exceptional federal powers.
Trudeau has scheduled a 4:30 p.m. EST announcement and media availability on Monday, alongside several key ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, Justice Minister and Attorney General David Lametti, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, and Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair
Far-left Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing a popularity collapse, several polls published this weekend found, in the aftermath of his handling of the ongoing “Freedom Convoy” anti-mandate protests – with both supporters and opponents of the protesters.
The parody of Trudeau’s authoritarian Canada was created in the “Where’s Waldo” style by artist Bob Moran and features in comic form many of the outrageously, left-wing people and events that are occurring in Canada even as the Freedom Convoy is desperately trying to put a halt to some of it.
“The gradual red pilling of Bill Maher has been something to watch over the last few years,” Stacey Lennox wrote recently, and Matt Margolis noted that “his rants are important, because even he is embarrassed by the radical elements of his party, and he’s not afraid to call them out.” On Friday, Maher also called out Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, reading aloud comments Trudeau made about unvaccinated people and excoriating the feckless Canadian leader’s authoritarianism, even likening him to Adolf Hitler. But unlike the Left’s comparisons of virtually every dissenter from their agenda, especially Donald Trump, to Hitler, Maher actually had a point.
Popular podcast host Joe Rogan slammed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for “demonizing” the unvaccinated, referring to recent comments the prime minister made that described those who have not had the COVID-19 shot as “very often misogynistic and racist” people who “don’t believe in science [or] progress.”
“The way Trudeau talks about people who are unvaccinated … he said they were misogynists and racists,” Rogan said to “The Joe Rogan Experience” guest Dave Smith.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the City of Ottawa are constantly looking at new and adventurous ways to remove the freedom convoy from the nation’s capitol but the truckers keep outsmarting and outmaneuvering them at every turn. The Ottawa Police Service is repeatedly warning the truckers that they are going to be raided.
The truckers have not responded to these threats with any incendiary language or violence and watching the action first hand, one is impressed at how much the convoy is actually doing to improve situations in the city, offering free food and clothing to homeless people.
