A further wave of far-Right disruption is expected across the UK following the killings of three young girls in Southport.

Violent extremists are planning to descend on more than a dozen cities and towns in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, according to reports.

*Hope not Hate, the anti-racism charity, has warned demonstrations are being planned for London, Aldershot, Sunderland, Hull, Liverpool, Cardiff and Manchester.

*Hope Not Hate” is the Brit equivalent of the SPLC or CAHN,  far left smear groups that support Antifa.

Southport: The End of the Line

It’s clear multiculturalism and liberal leadership are to blame for rising violence. We need to take drastic measures.

Southport is the end of the line for me, I’m afraid. I refuse to play this game any longer. So “No” Prime Minister Starmer, you do not speak for me—I am not remotely “shocked” that the caravan of mass slaughter has made an unscheduled stop in Southport. “Au contraire,” Your Majesties, I do not find it difficult to “imagine what the families, friends and loved ones are going through” (and doubtless, given time neither will the rest of you). And it’s “Uh-uh” to you too, Home Secretary Cooper, my “thoughts and prayers” already have a prior engagement; resigned to the hope that the “refugees welcome” conniving bastards like you are one day held accountable for the blood on your hands. I’m sick of it all, but mostly I’m sick of the innocent picking up the bar tab for the multicultural piss-up they were denied entry to.

This vibe shift at the upcoming British general election was foreshadowed earlier this month in Europe. The success of patriotic populist parties across the continent is driven by Gen Z: lacking homes and families of their own due to inflation, energy insecurity, and mass immigration. As I have warned, Zoomers will be a reactionary force—and they have started their march.

Rupa Subramanya: I’m Stuck Between the Woke Left and the Nativist Right

During the last few months of 2023, a Hindu temple in the Toronto suburb of Brampton, Ontario, erected a statue of the Hindu demigod Hanuman. The 55-foot statue, which looms over its neighborhood, was built on grounds owned by the temple, paid for with private funds, and violated no building codes.

I’m a Hindu myself—an immigrant from India who came to Canada in 1998 to attend college. I became a journalist and later a Canadian citizen, eventually gaining a reputation as a reporter and conservative-leaning commenter. Like many of my fellow conservatives, I decried government overreach on Covid-19 policy responses, criticized the government of Justin Trudeau, and covered the excesses of the progressive left. I believe passionately in property rights, the rule of law, and the importance of free expression.

Britain needs to debate the limits of multiculturalism

You don’t have to agree with everything Nigel Farage said this week about immigration, Islam, and multiculturalism to think he opened up a subject that needs discussing. And when are we going to discuss these things if not in an election campaign? Yet most Conservatives have said little on these issues, even though I find them very much on the minds of Tory voters – actual, potential, and (perhaps especially) previous.

It’s not hard to see why. Get your words wrong and the Left will jump on you and call for you to be cancelled. It’s easier to stay quiet – especially when past statements about multiculturalism, not just by Tories, but the likes of Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Trevor Phillips, are seemingly now beyond the pale.

Too many decent people don’t recognize that this vilification is unjustified and one-sided because it’s been normalized by an accommodating establishment and mainstream media. Moral clarity was always an endangered species in the Middle Eastern conflict.

Would that be the principled Canada that force marched us down the one way street of multiculturalism and diversity while denigrating our nation as founded on genocide?

Would that be the principled Canada whose elites have flooded the nation with incompatible immigrant cultures yet demands that we bigots learn to be tolerant?

Would that be the principled Canada that declares White supremacism a major threat while allowing multiple imported ethnic conflicts to be fought out in our streets?

Would that be the principled Canada that smeared you as a racist for daring to point out the folly of Mass Islamist immigration?

Would that be the principled  Canada where some of the same super tolerant blowhards who called us Islamophobes are suddenly the most enthusiastic of Islamophobes?

Would that be the principled Canada whose security services play down the threat of Muslim terrorism to please their political masters?

Would that be the principled Canada where identity politics is so out of hand that they appointed an Islamophobia Tsar who doubles as an Hamas cheerleader?

Would that be the principled Canada where the Mayor of Toronto declares a ceremonial flag raising “divisive”?

Would that be the principled Canada where most of the government media is as suspect as Press TV?

You see I’m a little confused. I consider myself to be a decent person even if I am one of those Islamophobic Demon Whites this country’s elites hate so fucking much so I’m more than a little surprised you’re asking for my help.

PS. That principled Canada you refer to is a thing of the past. Our principled elites trashed it or have you forgotten?

America’s Unprotected Class

Three years ago, the left-wing mayor of a Budapest district oversaw the erection of a statue in honor of the U.S. Black Lives Matter movement. When journalists asked her for the point of putting up a monument to BLM, given that Hungary has very few black people, the politician said, “The BLM goals of opposing racism and police brutality are just as relevant in Hungary as anywhere else.”

The unusual Budapest statue (which was destroyed quickly after it was erected) was but one of hundreds of pro-BLM European demonstrations following the death of George Floyd. American racial conflicts have a way of going global in the age of worldwide mass media, as if left-wing crowds in Britain and continental Europe were connected by a central nervous system.

The Man Whose Musings Fuel Elon Musk’s Nightmares

Elon Musk’s bedtime routine is giving him nightmares.

To hear him in public is to catalog a running list of his greatest fears: end-of-the-world type stuff, killer AI threats and, in recent years, the scourge of what he calls the Woke Mind Virus.

“I listen to podcasts about the fall of civilizations to go to sleep,” Musk said this past week during an appearance at the Milken Institute conference. “So perhaps that might be part of the problem.”

One provocateur, in particular, has caught his attention of late: Gad Saad, a marketing professor at Concordia University in Montreal, and author of the book “The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense.”

Saad wants a better immigration policy for his Canada, one that requires a hard look at whether Islamist migrants should be included at all. That’s not a bad thing.

I doubt we would be welcomed in his circles however.

He is on the public record seeking a meeting with Poilievre to discuss immigration policy. If it happens I bet it will be behind closed doors and will not change Poilievre’s approach to mass immigration which when compared to Trudeau’s amounts to “Same, Same, Different.” Poilievre needs to run the same identity politics playbook as Trudeau to get elected. Under normal circumstances I believe Poilievre would lose the upcoming election to Junior. However Trudeau has shot himself in the head with the housing and affordability crisis so all Poilievre has to do is keep his finger off the trigger and speak of immigration in only the most harmless of generalities if at all.

Musk as we know is an opportunist currently riding the populist wave. He is a rent seeker extraordinaire albeit an entertaining one. Do not trust him, what you see is this year’s model.

Canadian universities, at the direction of the federal Liberal government and the research granting agencies for which it’s responsible, have made race- and sex- based discrimination a matter of everyday business. And they don’t seem to have a plan to pare it back.

Take the president of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Ted Hewitt, who attended the House of Commons committee on science and research last Thursday for its study on post-secondary funding. Under his organization’s watch is the administration of the Canada Research Chairs Program, which is supposed to provide prestigious multi-year grants to highly competitive researchers across Canada. Only, it can hardly be called competitive, as the program is bound by strict diversity quotas.

Jamie Sarkonak: Liberals, again, use federal budget to advance demographic favoritism

Public spending should support the general public. But in Budget 2024, released Tuesday, the Liberals continued to opt for identity-based programs narrowly targeted to demographics of preference.

On affirmative action, the budget heralded the expansion of the Employment Equity Act, which currently sets employment “targets” for women, visible minorities, Indigenous people and the disabled in the federal public sector. In the fall, Labour Minister Seamus O’Regan announced that Black people and LGBT people will each get their own target (quota), so this isn’t new, but we can still expect it coming down the pipeline.

I used to be unequivocally pro-multiculturalism. How naive I was

Just one day before the October 7 terrorist attack, I tweeted that Conservatives should stop bashing multiculturalism. In the five months since, however, it has become clear that Britain is not the success story I naively believed it to be. Extremist ideologies have been celebrated on our streets. Minority communities have been targeted. And our failure to confront the root causes of division has become all too apparent.

The nation’s silent majority have watched in horror as protests descended into platforms for hate speech. As posters were vandalised with swastikas and mobs chanted anti-Semitic slogans, often without any understanding of their true meaning. Not all movements for justice, we know now, are inherently just.
