Adam Pankratz: B.C.’s shameful race to give up public land

Shame. There used to be more of it and that was a good thing. Nowadays, a lack of shame runs rampant as people gaslight the world in the hopes no one will check up on them. In British Columbia, our current gaslighter-in-chief is Randene Neill, the minister of water, land and resource stewardship.

In a lengthy Aug. 1 Facebook post, Neill addressed recent changes to land use planning in B.C., which she claimed had been “misunderstood.”

Sydney Sweeney Is Good for America

Sydney Sweeney is beautiful, blonde, busty, and unapologetic. Somehow, that’s a scandal.

American Eagle Outfitters’ new ad campaign featuring the star of Euphoria and The White Lotus made headlines last week for being playful and provocatively retro. Sweeney leans over a Mustang, sprawls on the floor in classic American denim, cracks a pun (she has great “genes”/“jeans”), and sells some pants.

The Flimsy Research Behind Native American Mascot Bans

In mid-June, the Trump administration reignited the debate over Native American mascots when it announced an investigation into New York State’s mascot ban. Since a 2023 decision by the state’s Board of Regents, New York public schools have had to remove any references to Natives, including the use of names like “Chiefs” or “Thunderhawks,” and even a friendship belt logo.

What Does a Defining Journalist of the Woke Era Think Now?

Taylor Lorenz on Trump, Luigi, and the politics of violence

For many, Taylor Lorenz was one of the defining media personalities of the woke era. She was a “star reporter” at the New York Times and pioneered a characteristic style of controversy-filled social media engagement. Politically, she was reliably left-wing: Lorenz supported extreme coronavirus lockdowns, engaged in cancellation campaigns, and boosted the most radical ideas of the Black Lives Matter moment.

A few years later, however, the scene had shifted. Lorenz left the New York Times for the Washington Post. She departed the Post under a cloud of scandal, having caused numerous headaches for the paper, including doxxing a popular social media creator and calling President Biden a “war criminal.”

Pedro Pascal and The Precariousness of Woke Celebs

It’s easy to see why Pedro Pascal was crowned as the internet’s new “unproblematic fave.” He is, as you would expect for a Hollywood actor, decently good-looking. He’s been in Game of Thrones, took the lead in Star Wars spin-off Mandalorian, featured in the TV adaptation of The Last of Us, and more recently had a starring role in the latest installment of Marvel’s Fantastic Four. Equally as important for a celebrity nowadays, Pascal has some impeccably woke credentials. He is an advocate of ‘trans rights.’ He’s vocally anti-Trump. He makes all the right noises about Palestine. He embraces a nauseating brand of “non-toxic masculinity,” whereby he talks at length about his men’s mental health—specifically, his anxiety, which he copes with by… getting uncomfortably cosy with his pregnant, taken co-star?

The Fall of Ugly Liberal Chicks

I can imagine that headline getting a lot of people upset – you’re not supposed to call people ugly – but some people are ugly and everyone knows it. I’m not talking exclusively physically, though that’s a big part. A good-looking woman, for example, can be rendered completely unattractive if she’s stupid or, I assume, liberal (it’s never really happened, in my dating experience, as most liberal women could easily pose for “before” photos for any number of ailments and afflictions, so them being attractive is only theoretical).

Jamie Sarkonak: The Law Commission of Canada’s radical mission to decolonize justice

The back-from-the-dead Law Commission of Canada is a distinctly Liberal institution that serves to churn out “independent and non-partisan” policy advice that coincidentally supports government priorities — or pulls them to the left. The genius in all this? It hides in plain sight.

Stephen Harper knew this very well, which is why in his first nine months in the prime minister’s office, he defunded it (and 66 other programs). The commission had existed since 1996, brought to life under Jean Chrétien, and was shuttered in 2006. Between those years, its projects covered child abuse in Canadian care, spousal rights and gay marriage, and lastly, electoral reform.

Hilarious BBC ‘Microaggressions’ Video Goes Viral; No One In The Real World Acts Like This

A DEI training video produced by the BBC that purports to provide guidance on how to deal with ‘microaggressions’ in the workplace has gone viral because it’s so ridiculously hilarious.

The video is a perfect example of what deranged leftists believe the world is like, but in reality no one acts the way the actors in the piece do.

The Horror Of MAGA Musician!! He Spoke Out Against Critical Race Theory Says Far Left Extremist National Broadcaster!

Permit revoked for MAGA musician’s concert at Parks Canada site, but show will go on

Parks Canada says a U.S. singer and rising star in the MAGA movement will not perform at a national historic site near Halifax after the federal agency revoked the organizer’s permit, but the show is slated to go on at a new venue.

Christian rocker Sean Feucht was scheduled to play a concert on Wednesday night at the York Redoubt National Historic Site, a fortification constructed in 1793 to help protect the port city.

Feucht, who unsuccessfully ran for U.S. Congress as a Republican in 2020, is also a missionary and an author who has spoken out against the 2SLGBTQ+ community, abortion rights and critical race theory on his website.

Only the far left extremists of the CBC could write this with a straight face.

Weirdo RCMP Gender Nazi defends crazy-assed views likening traditional values to extremism

Non-binary RCMP official defends comments linking ‘traditional values’ to ‘extremist’ values

A non-binary RCMP media relations officer has responded to questions about controversial comments made by an RCMP officer who suggested people moving toward “traditional values” could be showing signs of “becoming more extremist.”

Media Relations Officer Marie-Eve Breton, who uses she/her/elle pronouns, addressed the Western Standard’s questions about remarks made by RCMP Staff Sgt. Camille Habel.

This person is in need of a performance evaluation with an eye to securing her resignation. Her toxic personal beliefs have  compromised the justice system illustrating how out of touch and dangerous our public institutions have become due to the entryism of far-left extremists and their anti-human ideologies.

Lorne Gunter: ‘Half history is wrong’: Park Canada plaques deemed problematic

Since 2019, at the height of the Trudeau government’s woke, virtue-signalling remake of Canadian history, it has been official federal policy to portray our national history through the lenses of “colonialism, patriarchy and racism,” especially at Parks Canada sites.

This week, the online news site, Blacklock’s Reporter, exposed two examples of such revisionism. And the surprise is, Parks Canada is likely the good guys in one example.

Outrage as German Anti-Groping Poster Targets White Women

In the German town of Büren, a scandal has exposed the growing disconnect between official messaging and the reality many citizens face in the country’s public swimming pools. It all began with a poster—part of an anti-sexual harassment campaign—that depicted a white, red-haired woman grabbing the buttocks of a black boy with a prosthetic leg. The slogan read: “Stop! Groping is forbidden.”
