California Community College Promises To Pre-Screen Job Applicants To Ensure They Are ‘Anti-Racist’

Palomar Community College in California adopted a new policy that will “require all interviews for admin and staff to require an antiracist question pre-interview to assess new applicants’ dedication to antiracism,” the Young America’s Foundation (YAF) reported. The policy is part of the community college’s commitment to building an “antiracist culture” on campus.

FBI report shows 41% increase in hate crimes with anti-white bias

Joseph Messina woke up one February morning to find an anti-white racial slur spray-painted on his house in South Philadelphia. It also included threats and the word “die.” It is believed the incident stemmed from bullying incidents at the 12-year-old’s school. This is an example of a phenomenon that has had a significant increase recently but does not get widespread media scrutiny: hate crimes with an anti-white bias. Earlier this week, the FBI released its hate crime report for 2020, and it showed a nearly 41% increase in hate crimes with an anti-white bias from 2019. Good luck finding any media outlet reporting this.

Last June, 33 Canadian senators voted to defeat a motion decrying China’s treatment of Uyghur Muslims as a genocide.

While they all faced criticism from some quarters, only one — Sen. Yuen Pau Woo, leader of the Independent Senators Group — seems to have been singled out as an alleged stooge of China’s communist regime, told to resign and “go home.”

‘Enough is enough’: Black civil servants vow to press on with discrimination suit as Liberals promise change

Earlier this year, federal employee Monica Agard broke her silence about being Black in the public service after a senior colleague at the Immigration and Refugee Board’s Toronto office allegedly praised “the good old days when we had slaves.”

Since then, the proposed class-action lawsuit has become one step closer to reality after a motion was filed for it to be certified. It will fall to the newly elected government to decide whether to challenge that.

But as Canadians head to the polls, the Liberals appear to be changing course on the issue with a policy plank promising support for Black workers.

Increase In Racism Results From Trudeau’s Six Years As Prime Minister

A recent Ipsos poll in Canada has found that a majority (60%) of Canadians believe that racism is a serious problem facing the country.

“Increased awareness of anti-Asian hate crimes during the pandemic, continued mistreatment against Indigenous Canadians, domestic terrorism against Muslim Canadians, and discrimination against Black Canadians have certainly contributed to the idea that Canada is not making much progress in tackling racism.”
