If accurate, it could mean the incursion into the Capitol was not the result of a demonstration by supporters of President Donald Trump simply gone awry, or that those who planned it even backed the president.

We are flirting in this country with the darkest and most serious kind of civic disaster: the disaster of political violence. Not only the shameful and deadly fiasco in the Capitol building on January 6, but the merciless parade of arson, defacement, and slaughter that tore through our cities in the summer of 2020: these are like the first thunderclouds that pass over the air before a storm. If the storm comes, it will be the ruin of us all.

Anarchist John Sullivan was just arrested by FBI/DOJ for inciting a riot inside the U.S. Capitol. Evidence shows him agitating the crowd and encouraging violence.

The deadly riot at the US Capitol bore the markings of an organized operation planned well in advance of the January 6 joint session of Congress.

After a three-day hunger strike, Chansley on Monday was granted the right to an organic diet at the detention facility where he has been confined since turning himself in at the FBI field office in Phoenix upon his return from Washington.

On Sunday, Reverend Al Sharpton, host of Politics Nation on MSNBC, in his Memo to Trump segment, ripped the President for the riot at the US Capitol.
“This week you directed your followers to the United States Capitol…commanded your mob to the Capitol and admonished them against weakness.”
The reverend appears to have a gap in his memory for his role in instigating the deadly 1991 Crown Heights race riots in New York.

The article of impeachment stated that during the rally that Trump “willfully made statements that encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — imminent lawless action at the Capitol. Incited by President Trump, a mob unlawfully breached the Capitol, injured law enforcement personnel, interfered with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the election results, and engaged in violent, deadly, destructive, and seditious acts.”

Senior law enforcement officials have said that the NYPD and FBI informed Capitol Police of the possibility of violence before the deadly riot in Washington DC took place, NBC News reports.
“Prior to this event, the FBI obtained credible and actionable information about individuals who were planning on traveling to the protests who expressed a desire to engage in violence,” said the official. “The FBI was able to discourage those individuals from traveling to D.C.”
NYPD also sent out information to police departments across the country, including Capitol Police, describing threats made online leading up to Jan 6.
The report contradicts previous claims by FBI officials earlier this week that they had no expectations of a violent riot occurring at the Capitol.

According to Seattle Police Department officials, two officers within the SPD have been placed on leave after the two allegedly attended the D.C. protest/riot.

A Florida man allegedly photographed grinning as he carried away House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern after a mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the nation’s Capitol is among the latest people charged in Wednesday’s mayhem that left five people dead.

Reports are emerging from numerous eyewitness accounts that Antifa was actually behind the acts of violence at the Capitol on Wednesday.

The most recent Gallup survey on media credibility found that the percentage of Americans who trust the Fourth Estate “a great deal” is 9 percent. Assuming that this abysmal showing doesn’t constitute some perverse source of pride in America’s newsrooms, an honest self-examination of their coverage concerning Wednesday’s mayhem on Capitol Hill would be a good way to begin rehabilitating their reputation. Their response to that utterly predictable event was both monolithic and moronic. That they are guilty of both charges can be validated by typing “insurrection” into Google and searching News. This word is used—fallaciously—in countless headlines about an event that didn’t remotely justify such a description.
