The elite’s war on wealth

Ownership, the bedrock of prosperity, is under attack

Wealth comes from ownership. Being involved in the financial industry for nearly thirty years, and spending the past dozen-plus years in the media helping people create economic freedom and wealth for themselves and their families, I know that wealth being derived from ownership is an indisputable truth. More concretely, wealth comes from the ownership of assets that increase in value over time.

Thousands of Irish Farmers Protest Nitrogen Cuts

Approximately 2,000 Irish farmers and supporters gathered in the County Cork town of Bandon last week to protest the imposition of stringent new nitrogen emission standards. This is the latest sign that agricultural discontent is spreading across Europe following similar events in the Netherlands.

Farmers are objecting to a recommendation by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency to reduce from 250 kg to 220 kg the amount of nitrogen allowed per hectare of land used for dairy farming. The proposal is currently being reviewed by the European Commission.

The Myth of End of Oil and Regime Change

“Let’s not politicize oil!” How many times have you heard that admonition?

It was first coined in the late 19th century, when oil was beginning to emerge as the key lubricant of a modern industrial society. Having started as a new venture by private entrepreneurs, what took shape as the oil industry soon attracted the attention of all major industrial nations. By the early 20th century most of them had set up their national, that is to say state-owned, oil companies, thus making oil political while insisting that it shouldn’t be politicized. (The US alone didn’t and still doesn’t have a state-owned oil company.) From the start, the biography of oil has included another theme: fear of the world running out of oil. In the 1930s a report prepared for the British admiralty warned that oil may become “a scarce resource” within a couple of decades.

Lab-Grown Chicken Can Now Be Sold in the U.S. But Good Luck Finding Some To Buy

In an historic milestone that will irrevocably change the landscape of food, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has authorized the sale of cell-cultivated chicken—chicken grown from stem cells in a bioreactor—from two Bay Area-based food technology companies, Good Meat and Upside Foods. The approval, which arrived in company inboxes early this morning in the form of an official “Grant of Inspection,” clears the way for the production and marketing of an entirely new food category in the United States, and is likely to herald a sea change in how consumers and the industry think about meat.

United Nations Planning Digital ID Linked to Bank Accounts

The United Nations (UN) is planning to introduce a global digital ID system that is linked to individuals’ bank accounts.

The plan, which is similar to the system developed by the World Economic Forum (WEF), is outlined in three new policy briefs from the UN titled, “A Global Digital Compact, Reforms to the International Financial Architecture, and The Future of Outer Space Governance.”

The goal of the briefs is to advance UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s “vision for the future.”

Citizen mutiny across Europe raises doubts about net zero

Strict climate laws have riled households and farmers on the continent, while Biden has cushioned the blow with generous incentives. What’s the right mix between carrot and stick?

In the beginning there was fire. Just as cavemen once crouched around the flames, so coal scuttles and mantelpieces became the focus of modern life. “There’s an emotional connection between people and combustible energy sources,” says the environmental historian Melanie Arndt of Albert Ludwig University, Freiburg.

Now coal is on its way out, so are wood burners, and governments in Europe are poking in people’s cellars, telling them to change their living habits in the next few months. That’s how Germans are beginning to see it and it’s no good telling them that they voted for it. As the net zero deadlines gallop closer, as states get tougher in their restrictions, so political tensions are starting to crackle across Europe.

A WEF of Sh*t: Federal government introduces ‘just transition’ sustainable jobs act

OTTAWA — Declaring his government’s intentions to plan for the future instead of “hoping for the best,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau advanced the next steps toward transitioning Canada to a net-zero, low-carbon economy.

The government will table today its long anticipated legislation on the “Just Transition” to a sustainable economy.

WEF Lobbied Dutch Government on ‘Great Reset

Correspondence between WEF (World Economic Forum) chairman Klaus Schwab and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte illustrates clear attempts to lobby the Dutch government on the implementation of the ‘Great Reset.’ Populist critics claim that the Netherlands was specifically selected as a test case for globalist social engineering.

The documents, revealed Monday, June 12th, are the product of a freedom of information request and show the WEF chief asking the Netherlands to play a “leading role” in the roll-out of ‘Great Reset’ policies in the area of managed food supply.

WEF document calls for limiting ‘private car use,’ drastic reduction in the number of cars by 2050

The globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) is encouraging cities to “contain growth of private car use” and aims to drastically reduce the number of cars by 2050, according to a recently published white paper. The document relies on the usual falsified climate change data and dishonest models and ignores the looming population collapse which many have been warning the world is facing.

Who Was Klaus Schwab Meeting in Brussels?

World Economic Forum frontman Klaus Schwab touched down in Brussels last week for meetings with top-level EU officials involved with the European Green Deal, the controversial plan to retrofit the European economy in preparation for a decarbonised future. Schwab met with Green Deal architect Frans Timmermans as well as EU Council President Charles Michel in separate tête-à-têtes in Brussels on May 29th and 30th.

Schwab, the kingpin of the influential WEF network, garnered online notoriety in 2020 for debuting plans for a so-called “Great Reset” amid claims that he and other elites were engineering the COVID lockdowns for their social engineering purposes.

The Revolt of the Farmers

The Dutch government wants farmers to give up their land to save the planet. They’re fighting back.

The Dutch have a particular horror of fascism. They bravely resisted the Nazis during the Second World War, as the German occupation of the Netherlands cut off food and fuel shipments. During the “Hunger Winter,” which lasted from 1944 until the Allied liberation in 1945, at least 22,000 Dutch people died from malnutrition.

That experience branded the national character with a strongly libertarian streak. It also explains why, post-war, the Netherlands created the most successful agricultural economy on the planet out of the ruins.

Canada Must Strengthen the Nation-State and Stop Eroding Its Sovereignty: Brian Peckford

… “The most successful governance system for people in the world is the nation-state,” Peckford said, receiving applause from the audience of over 200.

“This business to try to put us into some kind of international organization is full of you-know-what. It cannot be allowed to happen. Canada has got to stop joining or signing anything which in any way dilutes their sovereignty and our sovereignty,” he said.

A message from the greedy lying bastards who want to destroy Canada …

Canada on track for 100 million immigrants but public support can’t be taken for granted: Century Initiative CEO

The chief executive of the Century Initiative says Canada “has reached the point of no return” when it comes to welcoming more immigrants, as its modelling shows Canada is on track to more than double its population to at least 100 million by the turn of the century.

But Lisa Lalande warned that existing high levels of public support for increasing immigration cannot be taken for granted.

“If public opinion shifts on immigration, policy will shift, and ultimately that will be detrimental to the future of the country,” she said in an interview.

Will we end up eating insects?

The Government is funding high-tech laboratories

The thrum of thousands of black soldier flies reverberates around the laboratory. Stacked in rows nearby are boxes containing larvae at various stages of development. Some, just hatched, are so small as to be almost invisible. Others, kept a couple of metres away, are the creatures they will become in less than two weeks: fat grubs that are 7,000 times larger — and ready for harvest.
