Are drug cartels operating in Toronto? This is what we know

It was at a news conference back in January that Toronto police gave members of the public a glimpse at an investigation involving what they described as “violent” Mexican organized crime group known as the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.

The group, police said, was linked to the largest cocaine bust in the service’s history. Investigators confirmed that more than half of the $83 million worth of cocaine that was seized as part of the drug squad probe was found in a transport truck that travelled from Mexico, through the United States, and into Canada. Two of the six suspects arrested in the case were Mexican nationals.

Antisemitism in Toronto today is so much more sinister than vile graffiti and discriminatory rhetoric

Talk about a dubious distinction for a big city with world-class aspirations. I’m increasingly asked by people both in Canada and abroad about Toronto’s antisemitism problem. Indeed, at conferences I attended in New York and Ottawa earlier this month, many delegates, Jews and non-Jews alike, commiserated with me over this deplorable situation.

… What Jews are now facing in Toronto shouldn’t be happening in this city. Not in 2025. Jews shouldn’t be living in fear, compelled to hide their identity for their safety. Lamentably, much to its own detriment, Toronto has changed when it comes to antisemitism. For this corrosive, downward spiral to end requires a commitment from non-Jews. How long are Jews supposed to wait? How long can we wait?

Toronto has changed when it comes to antisemitism. It is rapidly transitioning into a majority-minority 3rd world city.

Toronto’s new people are either by faith antisemitic or are indifferent to Jews at best sharing nothing of Canada’s Judeo-Christian tradition.

No one I know invited this deluge of incompatible cultures.

When I and others spoke against Islamist immigration we were called racists and Islamophobes by our government and also by some of the same people who are wondering about that wait.

Our white skin alone makes us some sort of Hybridized Islamophobic Nazis we’re told.

Our government and all the very best people say so.

What people?  The ones who demand we protect the Jewish community from the Muslims they invited here.  Our elites Dear reader!

The smart people aren’t waiting. They’re leaving. The GTA is lost.

Smells stupid & racist: Renaming group dismissive of Dundas, consulting public

If you don’t like Sankofa Square, how would you feel about Sankofa Street?

A freedom-of-information request, shared with The Toronto Sun by a reader, sheds light on the work done to rename Yonge-Dundas Square. Some of the documents, from late 2023, reveal talk of a non-existent consultation process and a loose approach to facts regarding historical figures such as Henry Dundas and 19th-century activist Lucie Blackburn.

Jewish community outraged over police Jihad podcast on Oct. 7, anti-Israel rallies

OTTAWA — Toronto’s Jewish community is reacting with alarm to remarks made by a pair of Toronto Police constables in a now-deleted podcast episode.

Constables Haroon Siddiqui and Farhan Ali — both Muslim liaison officers — hosted an episode of the police-produced Project Olive Branch where they made a number of questionable comments, including praising the Oct. 7 2023 Hamas terror attacks for an increase in converts to Islam.

12 people in hospital after 3 suspects ‘opened fire indiscriminately’ inside Scarborough pub

On what was supposed to be a celebratory night, the grand opening of a new pub at Scarborough Town Centre on Friday was met with gunfire, sending 12 people to the hospital.

Toronto police said three masked male suspects, one armed with an assault rifle and the other two with handguns, entered Piper Arms at 520 Progress Avenue just before 10:40 p.m.

“They walked into the bar. They produced their guns, and they opened fire indiscriminately on the people sitting inside the bar,” Supt. Paul MacIntyre of Organized Crime Enforcement told reporters at the scene.

Toronto is such a 3rd World Craphole I’m not even going to suggest this is anything but gang related.

HUNTER: Toronto like Chicago ‘fixated’ on niche liberal issues instead of crime

Brandon Johnson – Loves Looting

Jerry Partee brought Chicago’s tally of deaths so far this year to 67 on Sunday afternoon.

Cops say the 48-year-old was gunned down in a drive-by shooting at 2:23 p.m. not far from the United Center on West Walton St. Partee took bullets in the chest. No one has been arrested.

This does not seem to bother hyper-progressive Mayor Brandon Johnson. But this should all sound chillingly familiar to you.

Dogs in body armour and humans on edge: How an ‘unprecedented’ wave of coyote attacks has terrified a Toronto neighbourhood

As seen here coyotes play an important role in the city’s eco-system.

It has come to this in Toronto’s downtown condoland: residents walking their pets have been advised by the city to dress their dogs in body armour. When going to the park, people are asked to carry noisemakers and green garbage bags, which they can snap and wave while shouting and running toward any coyotes they see. A local parent told a public meeting Thursday night that June Callwood Park has become “completely unusable” and that parents are “terrified” to even walk their toddlers home from the school bus.

Union representing 30,000 city of Toronto workers starts countdown to strike

Toronto’s largest workers union has requested a no-board report, which could put them in position to strike in as little as three weeks.

CUPE Local 79, which represents 30,000 city employees, including nurses, child care workers and restaurant food inspectors, voted overwhelmingly in favour of a strike last month, citing low wages.

Toronto needs a DOGE.

City Hall’s children’s services has own racist anti-racism group – no whites allowed

The City of Toronto’s children’s services division has its own dedicated anti-racism group, and whites and other ethnicities are banned from meetings, The Toronto Sun has learned.

The group, called the CABR (Confronting anti-Black racism) (Calling All Black Racists) strategic advisory circle, differs from City Hall’s dedicated CABR unit, made up of a handful of staff at Toronto’s social development division. (There is a third body, the CABR advisory committee, which meets every few months and reports to council.)
