Several members of the media took to Twitter to express outrage over the House Democrats’ selectively edited impeachment trial video.
Impeachment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who previously objected to results from Donald Trump’s 2016 victory, showed a dramatic video that spliced together Trump’s statements with protesters who attacked the Capitol.
The video, for example, edited out Trump’s remark to his supporters to “peacefully make their voices heard.”
Former GOP Congresswoman Michele Bachmann slammed vindictive Democrats and ripped into the mainstream media for the “absolutely sick” way the U.S. Capitol riot has been covered.
The former Republican lawmaker from Minnesota told guest host Mark Steyn on “Fox News Primetime” on Monday that the media has been on a mission to destroy the “legacy” of former President Donald Trump and his supporters and that Democrats are engaging in “bad political dinner theater” with their second attempt to impeach him.
LA Times columnist Virginia Heffernan is being slammed for a piece in which she compared the “Trumpites next door to our pandemic getaway” in upstate New York — despite their “aggressive niceness”– to Nazi sympathizers and Hezbollah because they backed former President Trump.
On Monday, former President Donald Trump’s lawyers, Bruce L. Castor Jr., and David Schoen, filed the official defense brief for his second impeachment trial, which begins on Tuesday. The brief makes five powerful arguments for the president’s acquittal, eviscerating the Democrats’ case.
When Biden made a Faustian bargain with his party’s hard-left wing of Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to win the election, he took on the commitment to absorb some of their agenda and to appoint their ideologues.
But he also soon became either unwilling or unable to stand up to them.
Critics slammed iconic singer Bruce Springsteen and the Jeep vehicle brand after the two collaborated on an ad calling for a return to “the middle.”
Springsteen has a history of making outlandish, politically-driven claims and comments attacking Republicans, most notably former President Donald Trump. Springsteen was one of a host of celebrities to make a public pledge to leave the United States if Trump was reelected in 2020.
The remarks by Democratic congresswoman Val Demings on Saturday came after Joe Biden suggested there was “no need” to provide Mr Trump with intelligence briefings and that they should be stopped.

Regardless if the you now support the immediately former president or not, if you’re a Republican and voted for him last November, then the news that the Quislings at the Lincoln Project are falling out with each other is welcome schadenfreude.
Though the tag on them as “grifters” is a bit absurd. They’re political consultants, as I was for twenty years. Like doctors and lawyers, they get clients, work with those clients, get paid, and move on to other clients. It’s the nature of the job. And many political consultants consistently work for the Green Party, i.e.- who pays them, again, like doctors and lawyers. So the real reason to despise those guys is because they were on the other side. Not just because they were hired guns.
Jody Williams was not shocked when House impeachment trial managers used his website, TheDonald.win, as evidence that former President Trump incited the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
“Political opponents, for lack of a better term, are highly motivated to find dirt on people so it’s not surprising,” he said. “I find it interesting they took the time to go and dig for the links they did.”

Bank of America, effectively, is acting as an intelligence agency. But they are not telling you about it.”
Democrats are acting really smug these days. They think that having control of the whole show lets them do as they please. They forget that the laws of physics can’t be broken, even by George Soros. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Then there is the law of Karma. The one that works out to “what comes around goes around.” They may want to think twice before opening Pandora’s box on impeachment because it could come back to haunt Hillary Clinton, just to pick one name from the hat. If Trump can be impeached retroactively, she can too. So can Eric Holder and Barack Obama. Democrats are warned to be careful what they ask for because they might get it.
Time magazine has published a detailed account of what it describes as a “conspiracy” between “left-wing activists and business titans” to create “an extraordinary shadow effort” to “protect” the 2020 presidential election.
The New York Times had reported on the effort in January, referring to the “Democracy Defense Coalition.” The Daily Beast hinted at it in the fall. But the Time article is the most in-depth report at what others suggested was going on behind the scenes.

Democrats could open a Pandora’s box of unintended consequences by going forward with impeachment and bringing former President Donald Trump back into the limelight.
As so many of us sit back and are subjected to the continued meltdown of various people who “hate” President Donald Trump, an affliction has now metastasized to hating his 75 million supporters.
The latest case in point is Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra’s now 80-year-old daughter. In an interview with the Guardian, within which she ‘hopes for peace in the US,’ the newspaper reported her feelings about Mr. Trump: “The last four years, though, have taken a toll on her mental health. ‘I couldn’t believe that this great nation had sunk so low,’ she says. ‘I’ll never forgive the people that voted for him, ever. I have an angry place inside of me now. I hope it doesn’t kill me.’”
