Only Boomers are really concerned about Trump this election

We only made it half a week into the election before President Trump’s trade war made headlines. This time, it was 25 percent tariffs on imports of autos and auto parts for “national security” reasons, which will take effect on Wednesday.

Next week, we’ll also see whether potential “reciprocal” tariffs will also be applied to Canada and others, and if broad tariffs will expire. We’re also expecting a U.S. government study on “unfair trade” that Trump ordered in a day-one executive order.

KOPALA: Trump’s goal, to rebuild the ‘arsenal of democracy’

Understandably, Canadians are rattled, confused and angered by President Donald Trump’s tariffs and calls for Canada to become America’s 51 state. The potential loss of sovereignty and severe effects on the Canadian economy are of no small consequence. Fighting back, Canadians are searching for answers and rediscovering patriotism now that the United States, under President Trump’s leadership, is ….?

Well, no one seems to know much about Donald Trump’s plan.

Canada’s fat cats, the Carney style globalists, the Laurentian elites, the China class are threatened, and we’re just numbers, mere collateral damage in their schemes.

I trust Trump more than the cabal that has subjected Canada to a decade of misrule and is now trying to con us into accepting an ersatz patriot as PM.

Inside the online effort to foil Trump’s deportation raids

On social media, immigrants and their allies are working together to track ICE officers in real time.

NEW YORK — When Sheidriany Pomales was scrolling TikTok during a break from her job at a kindergarten, she came across a video that made her stomach sink. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were hanging around the entrance to the subway on 125th Street and Lexington — right next to where Pomales, her mother and many of their friends live.

She quickly exited the app and called her mom with a warning and a request that she pass the information along. Her mom used WhatsApp to reach out to undocumented friends and co-workers who made plans to take alternate routes to work or skip errands such as grocery shopping. Pomales made her own video about the alleged sighting on her go-to social platform, TikTok, using the algospeak code phrase “ice cream truck” instead of ICE or the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

Trump Admin Moves to Cut Federal Funds for ‘Sanctuary’ Cities

The Trump administration is ramping up efforts to hold sanctuary cities accountable, preparing to withhold federal funds from municipalities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration laws. This bold move signals a firm stance against local governments that prioritize illegal immigration over the safety and security of their communities. By cutting off funding, the administration aims to communicate that cities that flout federal immigration policies will not be subsidized at taxpayers’ expense. This action is a significant step in the Trump administration’s ongoing battle to enforce immigration laws and uphold the rule of law nationwide.

Bad news if true …

IMMACULATE CONSTELLATION: Is a Secret UFO Program Hidden in the White House?

It’s been around five months since IMMACULATE CONSTELLATION—an alleged covert UFO program—entered the public lexicon.

Publicly, it began with a scoop on 8 October 2024, when investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger revealed details of an alleged shadowy Unacknowledged Special Access Program (uSAP) tasked with tracking advanced craft with extraordinary capabilities.

These were categorised as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) and Reproduction Vehicles (RVs)—the former believed to be non-human in origin, the latter tied to foreign states or unknown entities, representing craft reverse-engineered from non-human technology.

According to the report, U.S. military intelligence can distinguish between UAP and RVs.

The implication was staggering: that nations like China or Russia—or even rogue private actors—may have reverse-engineered non-human technology, unlocking game-changing propulsion systems, such as anti-gravitic lift and instantaneous acceleration.

The US firms backing Trump’s fight over trade

Head to the grocery store in the US and the shelves are stocked with jars of St Dalfour strawberry spread and Bonne Maman raspberry preserves – some of the more than $200 million (£154m) in jams that Europe sends to America each year.

But try looking for American-made jelly in Europe, and you’re likely to come up short.

The US exports less than $300,000 (£231,000) in jam each year to the bloc.

It’s an imbalance that US company JM Smucker, one of the biggest sellers of such products in America, blames on a 24%-plus import tax its fruit spreads face in the EU.

Better Canada-U.S. relationship ‘possible’ if Trump likes Carney, but don’t ‘over-conclude’ based on one call, John Bolton says

Former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton is cautioning not to read too much into the more positive tone struck by U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Mark Carney following Friday’s phone call between the two, but said if the commander-in-chief is a fan of the Liberal leader, a smoother bilateral relationship could be possible.

“I don’t think you should over-conclude on the basis of one telephone call, but both sides tried to give a positive reading to it,” Bolton said in an interview on CTV Power Play with Vassy Kapelos, when asked how much Canadians should read into Trump’s apparent change in tone.

The New York Times Drops a Massive Truth Bomb on the Democrats

The New York Times editorial board just discovered what conservatives have been saying for years: the Democratic Party is completely out of touch with everyday Americans.

It’s a stunning rebuke from a paper that typically carries the water for Dems. The Times finally admitted the obvious: Democrats’ obsession with identity politics and their “scolding, censorious posture” have driven voters straight into Republicans’ arms.

American invasion of Canada would spark decades-long insurgency, expert predicts

CAF Transgender Tank

HALIFAX – If U.S. President Donald Trump fails in his stated goal of annexing Canada through economic force, what would happen if he ordered the world’s most powerful military to invade?

Some experts and academics say it’s a notion too preposterous to even contemplate. But Aisha Ahmad isn’t one of them.

“When you look at the power (imbalance) between the U.S. and Canada, an invasion would immediately result in the defeat of the Canadian Armed Forces,” said the University of Toronto political science professor, who last month published an essay on the subject in The Conversation.

Canadian Banks Tied to Chinese Fentanyl Laundering Risk U.S. Treasury Sanctions After Cartel Terror Designation

WASHINGTON — In an explosive, sweeping interview, former senior State Department investigator David Asher—closely connected to the Trump administration’s financial and national security apparatus—warned that Canadian banks could soon face a “new universe” of regulatory scrutiny, including from the U.S. Treasury, due to the recent designation of Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

Trump says he ‘couldn’t care less’ about higher car prices

Donald Trump has said he “couldn’t care less” if carmakers raise prices after his 25% tariffs on foreign-made vehicles comes into effect.

Some analysts have warned that Trump’s charges on businesses importing vehicles could lead to the temporary shutdown of significant car production in the US, increase prices, and strain relations with allies.

But speaking to NBC News on Saturday, the US president said he hoped foreign carmakers raise prices as it means “people are gonna buy American-made cars. We have plenty”.

Alberta Premier Smith Says She Had ‘Meaningful’ Talk With US Media Personality Ben Shapiro in Latest Diplomatic Push

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says she had a “meaningful fireside chat” with U.S. media personality Ben Shapiro during a non-profit conservative fundraiser in Florida this week, where she says she advocated for tariff-free trade between Canada and the United States.

She said she talked about the current trade tensions between Canada and the United States, and shared Alberta’s “message” with a large American audience.

Explicit Canadian emails target bourbon maker as Trump’s trade war intensifies

Standing next to half a dozen white oak barrels full of aging Kentucky bourbon, on the floor of his small Louisville, Ky., distillery, Victor Yarbrough holds up his laptop and starts reading his emails.

As the co-founder of Brough Brothers Distillery, he’s visibly taken aback by what’s landed in his inbox. And as a polite businessman, there’s some of it he will not say out loud.

There are roughly 50 emails in total, and most of them negative. Some of them are angry; a few are even explicit.
