Actors within the United States may independently “respond” to Gen. Qasem Soleimani’s assassination, Brig. Gen. Esmail Ghaani, the officer who replaced Soleimani as commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ Quds Force, has said.

It soon became apparent that foreign hackers had attacked both governmental and unofficial organizations. A large-scale espionage campaign has breached the U.S. Treasury and Commerce Departments and other government agencies. Microsoft and customers were compromised, and emails had been stolen from U.S. private sector companies. The victim of a highly sophisticated targeted attack, Orion Platform, the server of the network management system Solar Winds, which produces software for the U.S. government and private companies, was breached.

China Using Covid to Overtake America’s Economy

The U.K.-based Centre for Economics and Business Research believes that, due to China’s superior response to COVID-19, the Chinese economy will become the world’s largest by 2028, five years earlier than previously forecast.

“For some time, an overarching theme of global economics has been the economic and soft power struggle between the United States and China,” the Centre wrote in a December 26 report. “The COVID-19 pandemic and corresponding economic fallout have certainly tipped this rivalry in China’s favor.”

U.S. “Driving Stake Through Heart” of German-Russian Pipeline

The United States is ratcheting up the threat of sanctions against European companies in an effort to deal a death blow to the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline between Russia and Germany. The pipeline would double shipments of Russian natural gas to Germany by transporting the gas under the Baltic Sea. U.S. President Donald Trump, like his predecessor Barack Obama, has criticized the project because it would make Germany “captive” to Russia for its energy supplies.

Trump has been especially critical of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who, in opposition to the United States and many Eastern European countries, has doggedly pursued the pipeline project, which would funnel billions of dollars to Russia at a time that Germany is free-riding on the U.S. defense umbrella that protects Germany from that same Russia.

Former FBI official: Nashville bombing a ‘wakeup call’ on vulnerability of infrastructure

A former assistant FBI director said on Sunday that the massive Christmas morning bombing in downtown Nashville, Tenn., should serve as a “wake-up call” on the vulnerability of infrastructure in the nation.

“I think this is a wake-up call and a warning for all of us about how vulnerable our infrastructure is, how relatively easy it is for a single individual to do this,” said Frank Figliuzzi on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

In a recently released viral video, Chinese Professor Di Dongsheng of Remnin University of China explains in vivid detail how the communist regime bends Americans to their will. The Chinese communists, he says, “have people at the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence. We have our old friends.”

Just where are these “circles of power and influence”? Notably, they are the elite power centers of the American political Left: the media, Hollywood, higher education, Wall Street, and Washington, D.C.

Communist China’s slave state economy to overtake US ‘by 2028’ due to Covid

China will overtake the US to become the world’s largest economy by 2028, five years earlier than previously forecast, a report says.

The UK-based Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) said China’s “skilful” management of Covid-19 would boost its relative growth compared to the US and Europe in coming years.

Meanwhile India is tipped to become the third largest economy by 2030.

Police have ‘person of interest’ in Nashville bombing: Hunt for suspect narrows as FBI investigates whether spooky recorded warning was used to lure COPS to RV

Police have reportedly identified a person of interest in Nashville’s Christmas Day bombing that injured three people and caused massive damage to the city’s downtown.

On Saturday morning, CBS journalist Jeff Pegues tweeted out the news, but did not say whether anybody was yet in custody.

The blast emanated from a white RV parked on 2nd Avenue at 6.40 am Friday, and the FBI is now probing whether the explosion was deliberately designed to target law enforcement officers.
