Labour sends almost 100 party staff to help Democrats in swing states

Labour is sending almost 100 current and former party staff members to the US to campaign for the Democrats in swing states.

Activists from Sir Keir Starmer’s party will spend the next two-and-a-half weeks canvassing for Kamala Harris in four key battlegrounds ahead of the US election on Nov 5.

They will target Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia, which are all seen as crucial to Ms Harris’ path to the White House.

Kamala Harris plagiarism allegations ‘more serious’ than I thought, admits New York Times expert

Kamala Harris’s plagiarism is “more serious” than it first seemed, a New York Times expert has admitted after he initially downplayed more than a dozen examples of copied paragraphs in her book.

Ms Harris was on Monday accused of plagiarising several sections of her book on crime, including a story once told by Martin Luther King Jr.

More than a dozen sections of the book were apparently copied from various sources, including Wikipedia.

A school in rural Saskatchewan is under fire for its handling of female changing room access for Grade 7 students.

Parents and politicians are speaking out against Balgonie Elementary School allowing two biological males identifying as female to use the changing room facilities matching their gender identity.

Participants in Indigenous cultural exchange program to New Zealand feel ‘scammed’

What many thought was a dream opportunity for Indigenous youth from Canada to participate in cultural exchange with local Māori communities in New Zealand turned into what one participant describes as a “nightmare.”

It was marketed as a 12-week working holiday for Indigenous youth but left some participants feeling scammed.

I’m sorry but I’m laughing. But these young people learned a valuable lesson so there’s that.

Jordan Peterson & Tucker Carlson Funded by Russia’s RT, Justin Trudeau Says

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said under oath that Tucker Carlson is funded by a Russian state-owned media outlet, without providing evidence for the claim.

Trudeau made the allegation about Carlson and fellow conservative media personality Jordan Peterson while testifying at a public inquiry into foreign interference on Wednesday.

The Canadian prime minister was addressing alleged Russian influence in spreading anti-vaccine messaging in the media and on social media during the “Freedom Convoy,” a protest against COVID-19 vaccines and restrictions in Canada in early 2022.

No way to sue Junior I suppose.

On Wednesday’s show, she told viewers not to trust the polls and the media, suggesting they were on his side and were trying to depress Democratic voter turnout.
