According to Google Scholar — a website widely used to evaluate academics for jobs and promotions — he had produced a dozen research papers in the past four years, which had been cited by his peers scores of times. His career appeared to be blossoming.

There was just one issue: Larry was a cat.

Don Lemon is suing Elon Musk and X for breach of contract after the owner of the platform canceled a short-lived partnership deal following a testy interview.

Lemon and X cut an agreement for the former CNN host to produce content on the platform after he was let go from the network. The complaint, which Lemon’s team said was filed Thursday in California Superior Court, said X agreed to pay Lemon $1.5 million and a cut of advertising revenue in a one-year deal. But X and Musk never intended to fulfill the deal, the complaint alleges.

Democrats proclaimed that the videos were evidence of organic excitement about Harris, but some content creators claim they were solicited to post about Harris in exchange for money, while others say the effort looks astroturfed as opposed to being grassroots.
