How a Toronto highway bridge became the centre of Middle East tensions in the city

As the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues in the Middle East, one highway overpass in Toronto has become the centre of local tension and conflict.

The Avenue Road bridge over Highway 401, located in North York, has been the site of several pro-Palestinian demonstrations and, more recently, three arrests.

The location of the bridge rallies has been blasted by Toronto Jewish groups, who allege it has been selected because it is in a neighbourhood with a significant local Jewish population.

They spoke to all 3 members of the fictional “Eglinton-Lawrence and Don Valley For Palestine”  Hamas forgivers club.

1 person in Quebec now has an X gender marker on their driver’s licence

Arwyn Jordan Regimbal would have celebrated finally having the correct gender marker on their Quebec driver’s licence, had they not been an exception to the rule.

A year and a half after taking steps to have an X gender marker on their documents, the 23-year-old non-binary person finally got their licence in the mail last Wednesday — a first in the province.

The comments, from the executive who has governed Germany’s northernmost state since 2017 alongside the left-liberal Green party, came during an interview with Cicero, a Berlin-based political and cultural magazine, that was published over the weekend.

UK Navy warship that rammed another ‘was rewired to go backwards instead of forwards’

Two Navy warships crashed into each other because one was incorrectly rewired so it reversed instead of going forward, sources have claimed.

The minehunter HMS Chiddingfold smashed into HMS Bangor in Bahrain on Thursday after it failed to moor alongside it, leaving HMS Bangor with a large rip along its side.

Sources have told The Telegraph that HMS Chiddingfold accidentally reversed as a result of “faulty engine controls producing astern instead of ahead”.

Ontario man ‘factually guilty’ but gun case tossed over OPP racial profiling

While noting that a man was “factually guilty” of carrying a loaded handgun, a judge recently threw out the evidence and acquitted him after finding he was racially profiled by the OPP in Huntsville.

Superior Court Justice Cary Boswell found that the OPP violated no less than five different sections of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms when officers arrested Tyrese Douglas-Hodgson during a traffic stop in March 2020, displaying “an almost complete indifference” to his rights.

Speaking at a World Economic Forum (WEF) seminar called “Preparing for Disease X,” World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that in 2018 his organization “needed to have a placeholder for the disease we don’t know.

“And that was when we gave the name Disease X,” he said on Jan. 17. “We were preparing for Covid-like diseases, and you may even call Covid the first Disease X.”

Meanwhile, the opposite is true for most Conservative supporters.

If an election were held today, two in five (41 per cent) Canadians would support the Conservatives while a quarter (24 per cent) would vote for the Liberals, according to Angus Reid’s latest data. Flippy is making burgers, Chippy is cooking french fries, and Remy is serving up salads. Customers may not even notice them, but robots are becoming more common behind the counter at fast food kitchens.

At Food Republic, a quick-service joint in Vancouver, Remy looks like a giant stainless steel box. Inside, it receives the order to portion out each salad ingredient. Cucumbers tumble down a tube into a takeout bowl, which then moves along a conveyor belt to collect the next topping.

So why are we importing bodies by the millions? To lower labour costs providing more funds for Big Business to implement AI solutions?
