Backed into a corner, Ayatollah Khamenei faces impossible choice

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei looked like a man staring down the barrel of a gun when he recorded his speech on Wednesday, ruling out surrender to the United States. The words were defiant, but they were delivered in a soft, weary monotone that has left Iranians wondering whether the supreme leader is still in charge.

That is a question that may decide the next phase of Iran’s history, after more than 40 years of an Islamic Republic moulded by Khamenei and his predecessor, Ayatollah Khomeini. His regime is tottering from Israeli airstrikes, and a US intervention could be its coup de grâce.

Trump has demanded “unconditional surrender” — a bitter pill for Khamenei and his powerful military aides, but abandoning their nuclear ambitions could save what is left of their rule.

You got two weeks pal.

Big Chief Ford Say White Man Speak With Forked Tongue!

Doug Ford apologizes over ‘hat in hand’ comment about First Nations

TORONTO — Ontario Premier Doug Ford has apologized for saying First Nations should not keep coming “hat in hand” to the government if they say no to mining projects, a comment many First Nation leaders called racist.

Ford delivered that apology in a meeting at Queen’s Park Thursday to several dozen chiefs who are part of the Anishinabek Nation.

U.K. ‘Grooming Gangs’ Report Omits Role Islamist Superiority Played in Rapes of Thousands

A landmark report into “grooming gangs” that sexually exploited mostly white, working-class British girls on an industrial scale has omitted any reference to the Islamist links or motivations of the overwhelmingly Muslim perpetrators.

While identifying clear evidence of disproportionately “over-representation among suspects of Asian and Pakistani-heritage men,” the National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, published by the Home Office on June 16, focuses on the offenders’ ethnicity rather than on their religion.

Canada Slashes Forecast for Making Housing More Affordable

“Restoring affordability to levels last seen two decades ago isn’t realistic, especially after the post-pandemic price surge,” CMHC said. The change in forecast “highlights how widespread the housing affordability challenge has become across Canada.”

Canada’s Spy Chief Says Social Cohesion ‘Weakening’ Amid Threats Like Terrorism, Foreign Interference

The director of Canada’s spy agency is warning about the state of social cohesion in the country.

Daniel Rogers, director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Agency (CSIS), made the comment in the agency’s annual report for 2024, which was publicly released on June 18.

“Our social cohesion has been weakening in recent years, creating cleavages in our social fabric that threat actors seek to exploit,” wrote Rogers, who took the helm of the agency in October 2024, replacing David Vigneault.

Mass immigration has made Canada into a balkanized nation of Fifth Columns and that’s exactly what Carney and his pals want.

REMPEL: Carney’s defence plan signals a shift, but real capability is years away

Mark Carney recently announced his government’s intention to increase defence spending by more than $9 billion in order to “rebuild, rearm and reinvest” in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF.) The government declared that this positions Canada to meet the target of spending two percent of GDP on defence this year. The prime minister further promised that: “We will rapidly procure new equipment and technology… Canada will seize this opportunity with urgency and determination.”

No Matter How Much The Left Wants To Riot, Americans Still Support ICE And Want Deportations

No matter how much left-wing agitators want to riot to oppose enforcing immigration law, the American people still support Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers and deporting illegals.

That is the takeaway from a new Harvard/Harris poll taken in the middle of the Los Angeles anti-ICE riots that have been excused by Democrat leadership like city Mayor Karen Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The British Monarchy Is Hugely Symbolic, But Does It Still Actually Stand For Britain?

The British monarchy stands as a symbol of national continuity, tradition, and sovereignty. At its heart lies the Coronation Oath, a solemn vow the monarch makes to rule according to law and custom, to maintain the Protestant religion, and to uphold the rights and freedoms of the realm. This oath, taken before God and country, is more than a ceremonial rite; it is a pledge to defend British sovereignty and constitutional heritage.

Canada’s EV market was already in trouble. Tariffs made it worse, Ontario workers say

Bob Pulham recalls the optimism in the air when General Motors began producing electric vans in Ingersoll, Ont., in late 2022.

As the first BrightDrop commercial van rolled off the line at the CAMI Assembly plant, GM executives, union leaders and former prime minister Justin Trudeau touted it as a major milestone for electric vehicle production in Canada.

Pulham, a Unifor representative at the plant, remembers talk of increasing shifts and hiring more people to produce 50,000 such delivery vans annually by 2025.

A Meditation on Diana West’s ‘Wake Up and Smell the Culture’

Diana West has written a book on America’s declining culture. Much of the book is taken up with the question of who is responsible? Did this happen because of a lack of vigilance? In that case, vigilance against whom? Among the many named enemies, Diana West sees a threat from globalism. Think of all those things having to do with the well-being of “the planet” or “humankind.” That is globalism, an ideology built up over the last century by liberals and communists. According to Diana West, the antidote to globalism is America First, led by Donald Trump.

Calling them ‘Asian’ grooming gangs is obscuring the truth

The Casey report is right to refer to ‘Pakistani’ men as overrepresented in these crimes.

One of the many refreshing things about Louise Casey’s 197-page national audit into grooming gangs is that it does not shirk from uncomfortable questions about the ethnicity of many of the perpetrators. The report, published earlier this week, refers to men of ‘Pakistani’ origin being overrepresented in grooming gangs a total of 28 times. Here Casey is simply relaying what has been clear to most people for years, yet has nevertheless been obscured by the authorities, the media and academia.

That’s why I refer to Muslim Rape Gangs.

It’s A Mystery! Kingston prison’s supervised drug site has had just 1 visitor

More than a year-and-a-half after it opened, a site at a Kingston, Ont., prison where inmates can consume smuggled drugs under medical supervision has only had one user.

The overdose prevention service (OPS) at the Collins Bay Institution was set up as a place where prisoners could inject, snort or swallow substances, all with a nurse on standby.

It opened on Nov. 28, 2023, becoming the first of its kind in Ontario and only the third in Canada.
