China Is Taking War to Earth Orbits: A ‘Space Pearl Harbor’ Is on the Way

“With our commercial assets, we have observed five different objects in space maneuvering in and out and around each other in synchronicity and in control,” the U.S. Space Force’s Vice Chief of Space Operations Gen. Michael Guetlein told the 16th annual McAleese Defense Programs conference in Arlington, Virginia on March 18. “That’s what we call dogfighting in space. They are practicing tactics, techniques and procedures to do on-orbit space operations from one satellite to another.”

Guetlein’s stark comment about China signals a break with the past. “This marks the end of the Western-American-liberal dream of nations leaving wars on Earth so they can cooperate in space to advance humanity,” Richard Fisher of the International Assessment and Strategy Center told Gatestone after the general’s widely publicized remarks. “Communist China has now taken war to the heavens, to low earth orbit, and very likely, will take war to the moon, Mars, and beyond. The heavens are no longer safe for the democracies.”

LILLEY: Mark Carney still the wrong man to fix Canada-U.S. relations

It tells us something about the state of our country, the state of our economy, that the whole of our political system in Canada was fixated on a single phone call with the American President on Friday.

Mark Carney, the Liberal Leader and Prime Minister, had a call with Donald Trump early in the day to talk tariffs and the Canada-U.S. relationship.

Liberals drop alleged Calgary wife beater

The Liberal Party of Canada has dropped its candidate in the Calgary Confederation riding, due to the candidate’s failure to disclose a 20-year-old domestic assault charge that was stayed six weeks after it was laid, CBC News has learned.

Thomas Keeper, a 49-year-old real estate broker in Calgary, was announced as the Liberal candidate in Calgary Confederation on March 11.

Court records show that Keeper was charged with common assault on June 6, 2005. The complainant was Keeper’s wife at the time, according to divorce records.

The Funniest DEI Scam

DEI, even going back to when the approved acronym was DIE (yes, it was that not so long ago), has always been a scam.

By that, I don’t mean that it was a well-meaning policy intended to accomplish one goal that unintentionally spawned a scam, like Affirmative Action. Affirmative action was a misconceived solution to a genuine problem for which there was no good solution other than time.

Macron’s brigade shows how not to fight in Ukraine

Macron Brigade – Disintegrated In Ukraine Combat

It was supposed to be the showpiece of Nato’s support for the war in Ukraine – the first of 14 almost entirely Western-trained and equipped brigades that would push back the advancing Russian army.

In reality, the 155th Separate Mechanised Brigade was, in the words of one Ukrainian war correspondent, “from its first days, complete organisational chaos”.

Announced during D-Day commemorations in Normandy last June by Emmanuel Macron, the brigade was given the finest French military instructors and weaponry at a cost of more than €900 million.

CCP-Liberal MP apologizes for suggesting people claim China’s bounty on Conservative

A Liberal candidate running for re-election in a battleground GTA riding is apologizing after suggesting people attempt to claim a Chinese bounty on a local Conservative candidate.

Paul Chiang — the Liberal candidate for Markham-Unionville — suggested during a local Chinese-language media news conference in January that people should claim the bounty on Joe Tay — currently running for the Conservatives in the Toronto riding of Don Valley North.

“To everyone here, you can claim the one-million-dollar bounty if you bring him to Toronto’s Chinese consulate,” Chiang said, according to the Toronto Association for Democracy in China (TADC).

A normal party would kick this traitor’s butt to the curb on grounds of foreign interference but the LPC is a CCP subsidiary.

DOGE: Department of Labor Cancels $577 Million in ‘America Last‘ Grants, Including ‘Gender Equity in the Mexican Workplace‘

The U.S. Department of Labor cancelled $577 million of “America last” contracts including $10 million for “gender equity in the Mexican workplace,” the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced on Wednesday.

“Great work today by @USDOL @SecretaryLCD @Sonderling47 cancelling $577M in ‘America Last’ grants for $237M in savings,” DOGE announced, listing some examples of wasteful grants that were cancelled. One of the grants was worth $10 million for what DOGE described as “gender equity in the Mexican workplace.”

Canada still pours millions into garbage like this.

No longer unthinkable: the U.S. invasion of Canada

The most sobering thing I’ve read in the past couple of weeks comes from Timothy Snyder, the renowned historian of Ukraine. Snyder, who’s been studying modern-day authoritarianism for years, draws a strong parallel between how Vladimir Putin sees Ukraine and how Donald Trump views Canada.

Most jarringly, Snyder argues that Trump is preparing the ground not just for an economic assault on Canada, but for actual war. Trump has spread the ideas that Canada is not a real country, that it’s been “ripping off” the United States for decades, and (worst of all) killing Americans by allowing fentanyl to pour over the border.

Vance tells Greenlanders: Your country is cold as ‘s—’, and China’s coming for you

JD Vance has ruffled feathers during a controversial trip to Greenland, where he accused Denmark of effectively abandoning the territory to Beijing and Moscow and told residents their climate was “cold as s—”.

Mr Vance declared that the US could no longer “bury our head in the snow” and ignore China’s attempts to establish itself in the semi-autonomous territory during the first ever visit to Greenland by a US vice-president on Friday.

He explicitly urged Greenlanders to vote for independence from Denmark, urging its citizens to join the US’s “security umbrella” in comments that have caused outrage in Copenhagen.

Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives can pull ahead of Mark Carney’s Liberals with a focus on this one issue, poll suggests

OTTAWA—Advantage, Mark Carney.

Canadians view the Liberal leader as better able to stand up to U.S. President Donald Trump when compared to Conservative rival Pierre Poilievre, suggests a new poll by Abacus Data shared exclusively with the Star.

Abacus’ latest election survey shows the Liberals and Conservatives in a dead heat, though more Canadians appear open to voting for the Grits.

The Kamala factor.
