MONSTER Bird Flu Update: Unprecedented Mammal-to-Mammal Transmission Confirmed

We’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop for a couple of years at this point since the bird flu narrative first ramped up post-COVID.

Mammal-to-mammal gain-of function — the newfound ability to transmit between mammals — has always seemed inevitable, given that the biomedical security state is literally funding gain-of-function research on viruses in clandestine labs all over the world, fully immune from oversight.

Trump and Putin agree to an immediate ceasefire for energy and infrastructure in Ukraine war

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed during a lengthy call Tuesday to an immediate pause in strikes against energy and infrastructure targets in the Ukraine war, but the Russian leader stopped short of backing a broader 30-day pause in fighting that the U.S. administration is pressing for.

The White House described it as the first step in a “movement to peace” it hopes will eventually include a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea and a full and lasting end to the fighting.

Conor McGregor anti-immigration rant in White House condemned by Irish PM

Ireland’s taoiseach has denounced anti-immigration comments made by Conor McGregor as the MMA fighter visited the White House before a St Patrick’s Day meeting with Donald Trump.

McGregor said “Ireland is on the cusp of losing its Irishness” and that an “illegal immigration racket” was “running ravage on the country”.

Last week, Donald Trump singled out “Conor” – who last year was found liable for sexual assault after a civil trial – as one of his favourite Irish people.

Poilievre takes shot at Carney’s record, saying he failed at Bank of England

Canadian Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said Mark Carney should have been fired when he was governor of the Bank of England, arguing that the new Canadian prime minister’s economic record isn’t as strong as he presents it.

Poilievre, speaking to reporters hours after Carney was sworn in as Canada’s new leader, said Carney had acted as an “unreliable boyfriend” while leading the central bank from 2013 to 2020. That’s a reference to a quote from British lawmaker Pat McFadden, who criticized Carney over a decade ago for not following through after signalling plans to hike interest rates.

Nasty.

Trump’s College Crackdown: It’s Their Own Fault

The federal government has some “legitimate concerns,” said Columbia University interim president Katrina Armstrong last week, after the Trump administration announced the withdrawal of $400 million in federal grants because, it claimed, Columbia had not addressed rampant anti-Semitism on its campus. Armstrong’s words suggest that Columbia received the message. But have other institutions of higher education?
