How the Sons of St. Patrick Preserved the West

From the fall of Rome to the apex of the medieval ages, it was the ‘Sons of St. Patrick’ who reintroduced Western civilization to the West.

When rattling off the names of those who have played a pivotal role in shaping Western civilization, figures such as Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, William the Conqueror, Henry V, Christopher Columbus, William Shakespeare, the American Founding Fathers, Napoleon Bonaparte, and a handful of others — popes, princes, saints, and soldiers — spring readily to mind. One name which is often left out of the catalogue of greats, but without whom Western civilization may not exist, is that of St. Patrick.

Two Ivy League schools among 51 universities targeted by Education Department for discriminating against white people

Two prestigious Ivy League institutions are among over 50 universities targeted by the US Department of Education for alleged discrimination against white students.

On Friday, the DoED announced the sprawling investigations, accusing reputable institutions like Cornell and Yale universities, of using ‘racial preferences and stereotypes in education programs and activities.’

The federal department’s Office of Civil Rights said that 45 schools, particularly with their graduate programs, acted in violation to the 1964 Civil Rights Act by partnering with The PhD Project.

Shakespeare’s birthplace to be decolonised after ‘white supremacy’ fears

William Shakespeare’s birthplace is being “decolonised” following concerns about the playwright being used to promote “white supremacy”.

Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust owns buildings linked to the Bard in his home town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The trust also owns archival material including parish records of the playwright’s birth and baptism.

It is now “decolonising” its vast collection to “create a more inclusive museum experience”.

Public flogging wasn’t so bad now that I think about it.

RCMP warns of rising election-year threats against politicians

An internal RCMP report warns of an increase in “stalking and harassment” of politicians during this election year, citing anti-Israel street demonstrations as a major concern.

“Flash protests present a significant challenge to law enforcement’s ability to provide sufficient protection for VIPs,” the report stated.

The “threat” as always will primarily come from the left.

Pierre Poilievre has a bigger problem than Mark Carney. Much bigger

If Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives lose the next federal election, it will not be because the Liberals changed leaders. It will be because the narrative of the election changed, and Poilievre couldn’t find the right role for himself in the new story.

There are really only three roles in any narrative: the hero, the villain and the victim. When advising clients in crisis communications, we emphasize the importance of understanding which of these roles fits best for the purposes of public perception. Depending on the narrative, a person or organization in the middle of a crisis can make any of the three work well for them.

Valid questions raised but I suspect Carney is enjoying his Kamala Bump phase aided by the Left’s own distaste for Soiled-Himself Singh.

Carney stinks of WEF and is a committed globalist profiteer.

I suspect he will reheat his bromance with Xi and that may restore sanity to those currently conned by the ginned-up “Can’t be a Patriot without believing in the Great Annexation Scare”.

Bob Rae says Donald Trump’s goal in Canada is ‘theft by force’

Rae’s Pin – The Sustainable Development Goals Brooch United Nations SDGs Rainbow Pin Badge

Bob Rae, the Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations, says U.S. President Donald Trump’s aggression towards isn’t about fentanyl at the border, it’s about stealing Canada’s land and resources.

In a post to X late Saturday, when all was relatively quiet on the Canada-U.S. trade war front, the politician turned diplomat posted a map of upper North America and the Arctic Circle abutting Russia and parts of northern Europe.

How America enfeebled Europe

Fighting to “rebalance” NATO, American leaders now look on the old continent with dismay. Europe cannot seem to muster the physical resources — and, still more, the cultural ones — to provide for its own defense. Even American liberals now mark this down to a late social democratic decadence, or civilizational ennui. To a certain kind of Elon Musk outrider, “Europe is cooked,” or, “Europe is a museum.”

At the end of the day there is plenty of blame to go round.

Related: Mapping Europe’s Coming Population Crash

Casting population growth as a sacred cow necessary to economic growth results in extremely harmful immigration policy as witnessed in Canada and the open borders policy of Europe and the Biden regime.

It’s an evil con job that reduces you and I to mere numbers for the likes of Carney, Brookfield and Klaus Schwab to tally.

Multiple Conservative Influencers Swatted in the Past Few Days

Five conservative influencers have been swatted in recent days, as Democrats ramp up their invectives against President Donald Trump and DOGE chief Elon Musk amid their work to downsize the government and eliminate waste, fraud and abuse.

Swatting is a form of domestic terrorism where someone makes a false report to emergency services, often targeting a political opponent, leading to a police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team or other law enforcement response at the victim’s location. The malicious tactic can and has led to fatalities.

It’s not Brexit to blame for today’s inflation, Mr Carney, but you

SINCE Mark Carney became Canada’s Prime Minister-designate, much has been written about his stellar career, from Oxford PhD via Goldman Sachs to central bank supremo, first as Governor of the Bank of Canada (2007-2013) and Governor of the Bank of England from May 2013 to March 2020.

Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that Canada’s economy post Pierre Trudeau’s bizarre and destructive reign is in safe hands should perhaps think again. Carney is equally ideological as became evident during his pro-Green tenure in the UK. Today, as a reminder, we republish Ewen Stewart’s response to the deluded banker’s claim in 2023 that Brexit was to blame for inflation. No, says Stewart, it was Carney.

Cryptocurrency: ‘Digital Gold’ or ‘Monopoly Money’?

As Jack and his beanstalk can tell you, there are no magic beans. Unfortunately, those who believe cryptocurrency is their ticket to enormous wealth or financial security will soon find out that they, too, have no magic beans. What they may have is Monopoly money.

With that in mind, it needs to be said that recent actions to create a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve opens the door to potentially serious issues.

Equally chilling is the vulnerability of cryptocurrency to hackers. Media reports reveal that North Korean hackers recently stole $1.5 billion in cryptocurrency from Bybit, described as the world’s second-largest crypto exchange. One can probably assume those hackers were operating under instructions from their government.

Hunter Biden fled to ‘ultra-luxurious’ vacation in South Africa with round-the-clock Secret Service protection — avoiding grueling deposition

Hunter Biden fled last week to South Africa for a luxury vacation — with round-the-clock Secret Service protection — avoiding a grueling deposition scheduled for this week in a California lawsuit.

California District Court Judge Herman Vera granted Hunter’s motion to dismiss the case Thursday after the former first son claimed he was too broke to continue suing former Trump staffer Garrett Ziegler and his nonprofit Marco Polo.
