Khalid Latif: Cricketer sentenced over Dutch MP Geert Wilders murder threat

A former Pakistan international cricketer has been given a 12-year prison sentence in the Netherlands for threatening far-right MP Geert Wilders.

The case was based on a video posted online in 2018, in which Khalid Latif offered 21,000 euros (£18,000) to anyone who would kill the politician.

That was after Mr Wilders made comments about the Prophet Muhammad that were offensive to Muslims.

It is considered unlikely that Latif will serve any of his sentence.

He currently lives in Pakistan, which has no extradition treaty with the Netherlands.

Snubbed by world leaders at G20 to embarrassing Canada on the global stage, Justin Trudeau became famous for all the wrong reasons

Trudeau has also come under severe attack by the Canadian opposition and policymakers for his “woke agenda” on issues around gender and freedom of speech.

There are doers and there are talkers, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s character qualifies as that of a talker reading his own eulogy. This much is clear from the global media coverage, including Canadian media, of Trudeau’s G20 participation which was a disaster in itself.

Is this the end of the Soros empire?

The retreat from Europe is long-overdue

Even in retreat, the Soros empire commands a feverish hysteria. When, last December, the 93-year-old George finally handed control of his Open Society Foundations (OSF) to his 37-year-old son, Alexander, many of his liberal supporters wondered whether it was the beginning of the end. Now, their worst fears appear to have been confirmed: under the guise of a “radical shift of strategic direction”, the OSF would appear to be effectively withdrawing from Europe, with staff being told that the organisation “will largely terminate funding within the European Union”.

Jordan Peterson: Trudeau and the equity tyrants must be stopped

We’re at the edge of the terrible transformation that is occurring everywhere in the free world

Some of those reading this column will know that I have been ordered by the Ontario College of Psychologists to undergo “social media re-training” of indeterminate length, as a consequence of expressing my opinions publicly, with the specified outcome of my comprehensive compliance, as judged by my re-educators.

The charges levied against me include re-tweeting a tweet by the Leader of the Official Opposition in Canada (are you listening, “conservatives”?), criticizing Justin Trudeau and a diverse number of his minions, and expressing skepticism about the doom-saying fear-mongering tyranny-promoting chicken-little prognostications of the eco-fascists.

Extremists keep trying to trigger mass blackouts — and that’s not even the scariest part

Maryland’s top utility regulator was watching the news one February morning when a headline blindsided him: Two suspects with neo-Nazi ties had been charged with plotting to take down Baltimore’s power grid.

Jason Stanek, the then-chair of the state’s Public Service Commission, said Maryland regulators were “caught flat-footed,” not hearing a word from law enforcement before the news broke — or in the months afterward. Federal prosecutors have alleged the defendants were driven by “racially motivated hatred” to try to cut power to hundreds of thousands of people in the state’s largest city, which has a predominantly Black population.

Lawyers for ‘Freedom Convoy’ leaders attempt to block Ottawa residents from testifying

The lawyers defending two of the most prominent organizers of the “Freedom Convoy” protests are expected to make their case today to block nine Ottawa residents and business representatives from taking the stand.

Tamara Lich and Chris Barber are on trial for criminal charges related to their role in the demonstration, which blockaded Ottawa city streets for weeks last year as protestors railed against COVID-19 public health measures.

UFO Whistleblower Dave Grusch Tells Me Everything

UFO Whistleblower Dave Grusch Tells Me Everything

The Pentagon’s UFO office is sending cryptic ‘alien’ messages

According to AARO director Seán Kirkpatrick, the most common observations claimed in the 800 reports received by his office as of late May are of “spheres,” 3 to 13 feet in diameter and “white, silver, [or] translucent” in color. Two videos and two images of objects fitting this description, all recorded by U.S. servicemembers, have emerged in recent years.

In a May presentation, Kirkpatrick described these perplexing objects in greater detail while presenting footage of a “metallic,” “spherical orb” recorded by a surveillance drone in the Middle East.

Referring to the object in the video, Kirkpatrick stated, “This is a typical example of the thing that we see most of. We see these all over the world and we see these making very interesting apparent maneuvers.”

Anthony Furey: Will Tamara Lich Receive a Fair Trial?

Will Tamara Lich receive a fair trial for the charges she faces in relation to organizing the Freedom Convoy? It would be nice to think that in a country such as Canada the question is a ridiculous one because justice here will always be fair.

Yet both the intense politicization of the events surrounding the convoy and Lich’s own experience the past year with the justice system indicate that the question of fairness is now basically a coin toss.

Jamie Sarkonak: Pushback against secret gender transitions was only a matter of time

On gender policies for children, few provinces are interested in bridging the gulf between what Canadians want and what schools actually do. Out west, only Saskatchewan is trying to correct the misalignment.

In August, Premier Scott Moe’s government began requiring schools to obtain parental consent to change the name and pronouns of any student under the age of 16, following in the footsteps of New Brunswick. Exceptions were built in for situations where safety was at risk. It’s a move that is welcomed by concerned parents after years of subversive policy change.

Enough is enough for Pierre Poilievre and Conservatives on the rise

With all due respect to the “Bring it home” tagline that Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre really, really likes, a more accurate slogan for the policy convention that his party just wrapped up would be, simply, “Enough.”

Enough woke-ism, the gathering heard over and over in Quebec City. Enough spending like drunken sailors on shore leave. Enough scolding and preening and apologizing. Enough identity politics. Enough with the broken social contract and the cruel obliviousness they see in the current federal government.

Far-Left Extremists Take Credit for German Railway Arson Attack

Far-left anarchists have taken credit for an attack on German railways that took place on Friday, September 8th, as three fires broke out on power lines of the Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s national rail company, in the area around the city of Hamburg, leading to the cancellation of all service between Hamburg and Berlin until Saturday.

According to a report from the German tabloid Bild, the suspects managed to enter an isolated area not open to the public and set cables on fire after opening a cable duct.
