Gender Ideology: What Canadian Schools Are Teaching on LGBT Topics

LGBT issues, referring to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender topics, are being presented in classrooms across Canada—from kindergarten on—in ways that have shocked some parents who were unaware until their children started questioning their gender and sexual orientation.

In many cases, if these topics are discussed as “equity” lessons, parents do not have to be informed.

Elon Musk turned off Starlink satellite ‘to prevent Ukrainian attack’ off Crimea

Elon Musk told his engineers to switch off a Starlink satellite communications network near the coast of Crimea last year due to fears that a Ukrainian attack on Russia’s naval fleet could trigger a nuclear response from President Putin, a new biography has revealed.

Ukraine has used SpaceX-made Starlink satellite terminals to keep its military forces connected even as Russia has destroyed phone and internet networks. Yet as Ukrainian submarine drones armed with explosives approached the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, they suddenly lost connectivity and “washed ashore harmlessly”, according to Walter Isaacson’s new biography of the eccentric billionaire, entitled Elon Musk. An excerpt was published yesterday by CNN.

The bottom has suddenly fallen out of Liberal support. Why?

A wise old pollster once put it to me this way: “When people have decided to get rid of a government,” he said, “it doesn’t matter who the other guys are.”

Somewhere along the way this summer, large numbers of Canadians appear to have suddenly decided they want to get rid of this government. The top-line numbers are arresting enough. Four recent polls, by Angus Reid, Abacus, Leger and Mainstreet, put the Conservatives ahead by between 11 and 14 points. As late as June, the Tory lead was five points or less.

Comer, Marjorie Taylor Greene demand information on Hunter Biden hookers, claiming they may be sex trafficking victims

WASHINGTON — House Republicans on Friday ratcheted up pressure on the Justice Department to share information on an alleged list of first son Hunter Biden’s prostitutes — saying they could be victims in need of federal support.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and firebrand panelist Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote to the Justice Department that information should be handed over by Sept. 22 — ahead of a possible impeachment inquiry into President Biden for his alleged role in Hunter’s foreign business dealings.

Red Deer Catholic school trustee faces dismissal over ‘hate-filled’ post on social media

A Catholic school board trustee in Red Deer could face dismissal from her role after public backlash from a social media post that likened LGBTQ pride to Nazi Germany.

Monique LaGrange, a trustee of Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, posted on social media last week a now-deleted post that featured a picture of children waving Nazi flags above a picture of children waving Pride flags.

“Brainwashing is brainwashing,” her post read.

She made a valid point government indoctrination is evil. Dismissal is a violation of her right to free speech.

The Electric-Car Sham

For the president and his allies, what kind of automobiles we drive is not a practical question but almost a theological one.

Joe Biden has seen the future, and it is electric cars. Lots of electric cars. Electric cars — or else.

Donald Trump has seen the future, and it is a backlash against the mandate for the mass adoption of electric cars. The former president is promising to “stop this Madness, IMMEDIATELY!”

Canada added 40,000 jobs in August — but it added 100,000 more people, too

Vicious idiots run Canada

Canada’s economy added 40,000 jobs last month, about twice as many as expected, but also only about half as many as would be needed to keep up with population growth.

Statistics Canada reported Friday that while the economy added jobs, the country also added about 103,000 new people. So despite the mini-surge, the employment rate — the percentage of adults who are actively in the workforce — actually declined by 0.1 percentage points, to 61.9 per cent.

Toronto to tax luxury home sales, asks province for sales tax amid budget crunch

Toronto city council voted to bring in a new surtax on high-value home sales while asking the provincial government for sales tax revenue to help tackle a looming budget crunch.

Mayor Olivia Chow says despite several steps council took during Wednesday’s meeting, the city needs help from the province and federal government to address an estimated $46.5 billion dollars in budget pressures over the next decade.

City council voted Wednesday to ask the province to use its authority to bring in a municipal sales tax for Toronto, or to give the city a portion of its existing Harmonized Sales Tax.

French court upholds ban on girls wearing abayas in schools

France’s top administrative court has upheld a government ban on girls in state schools wearing abayas, rejecting complaints that it was discriminatory and could incite hatred.

The government announced just before schools reopened this week that the abaya, a long, flowing dress worn by some Muslim women, would no longer be allowed because it violated the French principle of secularism, or laïcité.

An association representing Muslims – Action for the Rights of Muslims (ADM) – had filed an urgent motion with the state council, France’s highest court for complaints against state authorities. They called for an injunction against the ban, saying it was discriminatory and could incite hatred against Muslims, as well as racial profiling.

Justin Trudeau hammered by devastating polls just before Parliament set to reconvene

With only a week to go before Parliament reconvenes, a pair of devastating polls are showing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with near-unprecedented rates of disapproval.

Younger people, who were key to Trudeau’s 2015 election victory, have now broken for the Conservatives at rates that haven’t been seen since the 1980s. A new Abacus Data survey found that Millennials were nearly twice as likely to vote Conservative as Liberal. And the Tories even led among the younger Generation Z; Canadians aged 18 to 27 favoured the Conservatives at a rate of 32 per cent against 24 per cent for the Liberals.

US Military faces recruitment crisis thanks to ‘unpatriotic’ Gen Z, obesity, therapy ban

Much of the military will fall short of recruitment goals by as much as 25% this year — caused by a combination of obesity and falling patriotism in Gen Z and by restrictions on recruits having had therapy.

The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard are all expected to fall short of their recruitment goals this year, they told The Post.

“My generation is a real challenge,” 25-year-old Marine 2nd Lt. Matthew Weiss told the Post. “Something has to change.”
