As conservative premiers talk gender and kids, Poilievre’s grassroots ask same of him

OTTAWA – As conservative premiers change the rules around pronoun use in schools, members of the federal Conservative grassroots want Pierre Poilievre to wade further into the debate around gender.

A submission advancing to a policy convention next month proposes discussion of a Conservative government prohibiting “life altering medicinal or surgical interventions” for those 18 and younger who are looking to transition.

The pitch is similar to ones found across the United States, including in Florida where Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill in May banning gender-affirming care for transgender youth.

Soft-on-Crime Policies Are Failing to Protect Innocent Canadians

Hug-a-thug policies are failing to protect the public. The federal Liberals’ gun control policies have not worked. It’s time to abandon “catch-and-release” policies and return to the traditional principles of policing espoused by Sir Robert Peel, the father of modern policing.

Sir Peel introduced the “Bobbies” to London, England, back in 1822, by promising that police would honour the basic rules of fairness. According to Sir Peel, the police need to share the responsibility of policing duties with the public, not act as an occupying force.

Prigozhin jet crash ‘isn’t an accident’ and ‘has hallmarks of FSB’

British security sources believe that the shooting down of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s private jet was carried out by the FSB intelligence agency on the orders of Vladimir Putin.

“Of course it’s Putin,” one source said. “Putin as a leader cannot afford to be humiliated in the way that he was. Putin functions on two things: Loyalty above talent… and the consequence of betrayal.”

Another said: “All the mood music, all the habits, all the history point to the FSB. The FSB remains loyal to Putin.”

The Liberal housing plan is overdue

” …The rapid population growth went a little under the radar because it was not just an increase in permanent immigrants. The number of temporary residents has ballooned. In 2015, there were 352,325 international students. In 2021, the number was 617,250. The following year, 2022, it was 807,260. But there weren’t a lot more student residences and apartments for rent.”

There is no quick fix and they have no plan.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planted the “peace talk” rumours in the tabloids because the pair know the “only currency” they have is their ties to the royal family

Patrick Christys has mocked claims that King Charles and Prince William are planning “peace talks” with Prince Harry, telling Sky News Australia the only time that the Prince of Wales should meet with his estranged brother is to “batter him.”

An insider told OK! Magazine that Charles has rescheduled an official visit to France because he and William are planning a reconciliation meeting with Harry to take place when the Duke of Sussex is in Europe next month for the Invictus Games.

However, the veteran British journalist claims the Sussexes have likely “planted” that rumour in the tabloids, because the duo knows the “only currency” they have is their ties to the royal family.

Sick and Tired in Oakland

The city’s NAACP chapter calls out its political leaders to do something about an “intolerable public safety crisis.”

On July 27, the Oakland NAACP published a scathing letter decrying the city’s failure to keep its vulnerable communities safe from persistent violence from high-risk offenders.

“Oakland residents are sick and tired of our intolerable public safety crisis that overwhelmingly impacts minority communities,” the letter begins. “There is nothing compassionate or progressive about allowing criminal behavior to fester and rob Oakland residents of their basic rights to public safety. It is not racist or unkind to want to be safe from crime.”

Hunter Biden Secretly Traveled on Air Force Two to Foreign Countries at Least Eight Times While Joe was V.P.

During Joe Biden’s time as vice president, his son Hunter flew overseas with him at least eight times, Fox News’ Jesse Watters reported Monday night.

The younger Biden avoided scrutiny by taking the back staircase off of Air Force Two and by not accompanying his father outside on the tarmac. However, raw news footage of those trips shows Hunter Biden being shuttled around in the vice presidential motorcade in Germany, Japan, South Korea, and other countries where the Biden clan allegedly had business interests.

‘Kiss My Feet!’ The West capitulates to Islam’s ancient demand

Once again, Muslims are at it — humiliating the despised “other” by forcing them to kneel and kiss their feet.

An August 17, 2023, video from Belgium shows a throng of “migrant youth” surrounding a trembling Belgian boy, forcing him to kiss their feet while they beat him on the head.  The post adds, “In Brussels, the country’s capital, Muslims already make up 25% of the population.”

Dutch Patriotic Student Society Undeterred After Antifa Ambush

A university branch of a right-wing Dutch student organisation has returned to its daily activities after being attacked by left-wing militants earlier this week. Members of the Groot-Nederlandse Studentenvereniging (GNSV), a Dutch fraternity for students with “national feeling” were forced to defend themselves after being set upon by a large gang of ‘antifascists’ at an introduction week at Radboud University in the city of Nijmegen in southern Netherlands.

Why are climate activists so angry?

Frustrations about the environment are a cloak for separate resentments

“Not being able to govern affairs, I govern myself.” That was the view taken by the 16th-century French essayist Michel de Montaigne, who lived at a time when France was wracked by civil war. He was unable to influence what was going on in politics, he reasoned, but he could cultivate his own character and intellect.

Listen, BDSM is not for four-year-olds

BDSM is not for four-year-olds. Apparently, that’s a controversial statement these days. Only a bigot would want to protect little kids from images of old blokes in fetish gear snogging the faces off each other in public. If you think under-fives should be reading books about hungry caterpillars or tigers coming for tea, not books featuring pictures of ageing men in dog collars and studded leather underwear, you’re a queerphobe and you need to pipe down.

“Unlivable”: Minneapolis slips into hellhole status — by default

Alpha News’ Liz Collins calls this a “shocking” video, and it would be — from anywhere else other than Minneapolis or perhaps San Francisco. South Minneapolis had been known as a relatively serene urban area, at least until a few years ago. When the extreme-progressive leadership began capitulating on homelessness, things began to change for residents like Dave Marquardt.

A good video at the link above.

Wall Street denizens fleeing NYC

This news probably wouldn’t be particularly newsworthy were it not for the fact that few in the media have been talking about it. For the past several years, there has been what the New York Post describes as a “giant, sucking sound” coming from the financial sector in New York City. That “whooshing” sound you hear has been caused by more than 150 major financial firms on Wall Street calling it quits and moving to more friendly climes around the country, particularly in the South.

Toronto is among the hardest hit “downtowns” in North Amercia. We too are heading for Hell hole status.
