Why Canada is among the prime targets for Chinese interference attempts

Late in August of 1971, the Iowa Highway Patrol arrested two people for speeding and carrying a concealed weapon. The two were activists for The Black Revolutionary Party, a militant group formed earlier that year at a meeting of Canadian supporters of Chinese Communism, which was dedicated to armed resistance against discrimination and to the spread of Mao Zedong’s ideology.

In the car, the Iowa officers discovered an envelope addressed to Ottawa, to Bu Chaomin, a correspondent for China’s Xinhua News Agency. He was also, according to declassified FBI files, “reported to be a Red Chinese intelligence agent” – and later identified as one of the Chinese spies who spirited away Canadian nuclear technology, a record of covert work that forms part of an increasingly distant history.

The week the tide turned in the gender war

There has been a watershed moment in the trans debate, sparked by the landmark decision about female athletes

Sport, so focused on winning and losing, on rules and competition, can bring a reductive clarity to the complexities of life. Perhaps that is why the judgement this week of the World Athletics Council was so momentous. Put simply, council president Sebastian Coe had to choose between conflicting “rights” and he decided that the right of those born women to compete fairly trumps the desire to be included in elite sport of those who have gone through male puberty but run or jump as women. “We felt,” he said, “that having transgender athletes competing at elite level would actually compromise the integrity of female competition.”

‘No, of course not’: Moment Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyer Alan Dershowitz says billionaire pedophile DIDN’T kill himself – before correcting himself to claim he did it ‘with the help of guards’

Alan Dershowitz, the former attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, has said in an interview the pedophile took his own life but did so with some help from the guards in his prison.

Dershowitz, a lawyer, Harvard Law School Professor and author, appearing in an interview with Kim Iversen on Rumble, was asked point blank whether or not Epstein took his own life.

Just a week after Epstein’s death, Dershowitz confirmed that he believed the criminal killed himself. When Iversen asked him Friday, he initially said ‘no, of course not.’

Toronto updates decriminalization request to Health Canada, asks to exempt all drugs, include youth

Toronto has updated its 14-month-old decriminalization request to the federal government, clarifying it wants a Health Canada exemption to cover young people as well as adults, and all drugs for personal use.

The city’s updated submission to its initial January 2022 request asks the federal agency to go further than the exemption it recently granted to British Columbia under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Closing Roxham Road will lead to ‘humanitarian catastrophes,’ for their pocketbooks immigration experts warn

Quebec immigration experts say closing Roxham Road to asylum seekers may go against Canada’s international obligations and could result in more deaths at the border, after an already deadly year.

Two men died attempting to cross the Canadian border within two months of each other.

The first, 43-year-old Fritznel Richard, was trying to reach his family in Florida in time for the holidays. His body was found in early January. The second, Jose Leos Cervantes, 45, was also heading into the United States on Feb. 19, and collapsed just as U.S. border patrollers approached him and the two people he was with, shortly after they had made it into Vermont.

Death by misadventure is no reason to make Canada a doormat.

French protestors stack piles of rubbish-filled bin bags into makeshift barricades against riot cops as demonstrations over pensions rage across the country

Fears mounted of yet more unrest on the streets of France this weekend as the government struggled to get a grip on the demonstrations causing nationwide turmoil.

Mounds of rubbish left by striking bin men continued to pile up in Paris, serving in part as makeshift barricades for protesters.

The demonstrations, sparked by president Emmanuel Macron’s attempt to raise the state pension age from 62 to 64, have turned violent in the past ten days.

Canada to speed up NORAD upgrades, give $100-million to Haitian police

Canada will speed up deployment of a new high-tech radar system to upgrade North American air defences and retrofit military bases to accommodate the new American-made warplane that Ottawa is buying, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced during U.S. President Joe Biden’s visit to Canada Friday.

The announcements form part of a deepening of economic and defence ties between the United States and Canada laid out in a joint statement during the President’s visit – Mr. Biden’s first trip to this country since he took power in 2021. They build on Canada’s 2022 commitment to help modernize North American Aerospace Defence Command and address the growing threat posed by hypersonic missiles and advanced cruise missile technology developed by Russia and China.

Democrats and the liberal media keep ignoring hate crime hoaxes

Democrats routinely condemn the country for being overtly racist and subject to rampant white supremacy; there sure are a lot of nonwhite people faking hate crimes. Yet despite these frequent occurrences, neither Democrats nor their propaganda accomplices in the liberal media seem to report these incidents ever. As such, it stands to reason people may be unfamiliar with the latest hate crime hoax that occurred this week at Kit Carson International Academy in Sacramento, California.

New deal with U.S. allows Canada to turn back migrants at the border

Ottawa has negotiated a border deal with the United States that would allow Canada to turn back migrants coming from the U.S. who are looking to make asylum claims at unofficial points of entry such as Roxham Road.

The deal would apply the Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA) across the entire Canada-United States border. It would close a loophole which allowed migrants arriving in Canada from the United States between official ports of entry to make asylum claims. Canadian authorities patrolling the border are now able to turn asylum seekers back to the United States.

I don’t believe them.

‘Untold Economic Damage’: Jordan Peterson Slams Governments for Copying CCP’s Pandemic Response

Best-selling author and commentator Jordan Peterson ripped into the global response to COVID-19 in a pre-recorded address to the National Citizen’s Inquiry (NCI), arguing that “untold economic damage” was done by copying the pandemic strategy of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

“In our panicked idiocy, we copied one of the most authoritarian societies that have ever existed on the planet, and that would be the Chinese Communist Party,” Peterson said.
