Vigilante who killed robber in Houston restaurant breaks silence

A lawyer for a customer who shot and killed a robber in a Houston taqueria last week said his actions were justified because he was ‘in fear of his life.’

Eric Eugene Washington, 30, died after being shot nine times – with one bullet hitting him execution-style in the head – by a vigilante customer who was said to be ‘protecting everyone’ in the restaurant.

A Texas grand jury will decide whether or not criminal charges should be brought against the still unidentified shooter, but in a statement, attorney Juan L. Guerra Jr. said he was within his rights and that the jury will agree.

The Loudoun County cover-up reveals the moral depravity of woke

A schoolgirl was raped by a ‘genderfluid’ boy – and her school covered it up.

Loudoun County in northern Virginia is the epicentre of the parents’ rights movement in the US. School officials in Loudoun have aggressively pursued a cultural agenda, introducing children to ideas about critical race theory and gender-identity ideology, over the heads of parents. An enduring image from that battle came from a raucous Loudoun school-board meeting in June 2021, when Scott Smith, a father of a high-school student, was wrestled to the ground by police and arrested. Smith was angry that school officials had remained silent about the rape of his daughter in the girls’ bathroom by a ‘genderfluid’ teenage boy wearing a kilt.

Kyiv tries to rally West before ‘500,000 Russians’ go to front

President Putin could mobilise up to half a million extra troops for his war against Ukraine as he seeks to wrestle back the initiative with a multi-pronged spring offensive.

Western allies are being urged to “act now” and send hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles to Ukraine after Putin appointed a new commander and laid plans to deploy 150,000 reservists who were conscripted in the autumn.

Russia claimed its first victory in months today, as Ukrainian troops began withdrawing from the town of Soledar after a battle that cost thousands of lives. Its fall gives the Russians a greater chance of seizing nearby Bakhmut, which controls access to Kramatorsk and Slovyansk, the last big cities in Ukrainian hands in Donetsk.

‘Comprehensive Assessment’ Was Conducted Before Contracting Antisemitic Consultant: Heritage Department

The Department of Canadian Heritage says it conducted a “comprehensive assessment” prior to awarding a contract to a now-defunded firm that employed a consultant later found to have posted numerous antisemitic remarks online.

Montreal-based consultancy firm Community Media Advocacy Centre (CMAC) was approved for funding “following a comprehensive assessment including both regional and national committees,” wrote Canadian Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez’s department in a briefing note obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter.

How the population scare predicted today’s climate hysteria

Paul Ehrlich was a false prophet; how long until we acknowledge the others in our midst?

Stanford professor Paul Ehrlich’s recent appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes reminds us what can happen when those with impressive academic credentials begin making end-of-the-world predictions.

It was 1968 when Ehrlich published The Population Bomb, a book that declared with absolute certainty that “the battle to feed all of humanity is over.” Because so many people were living so close together and consuming so much of the world’s limited resources, the inevitable future was one of “mass starvation” on “a dying planet.” A year after the book’s publication, Ehrlich went on to say that this “utter breakdown” in Earth’s capacity to support its bulging population was just fifteen years away.

Residents of Ana Walshe-managed DC building fear phony agents coverup

WASHINGTON — Residents of a Washington, DC, apartment building managed by missing executive Ana Walshe tell The Post that they believe her company, Tishman Speyer, has been hiding information about phony federal agents who were busted after infiltrating the Secret Service last year — and recently admitted to “voyeurism” in the building as well.

The tenants association of the Crossing building in the Navy Yard neighborhood near the Capitol says they fear that Arian Taherzadeh and Haider Ali, who pleaded guilty in August to crimes including secretly filming women in at least one of the building’s units, will avoid a public airing of their actions and that the company is withholding details from them.

Killing Ashli

Despite all the evidence, Biden Justice Department declines to prosecute the officer who shot Babbitt on Jan. 6, 2021.

According to the Biden regime and its supporters in the legacy media, the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riot resulted in the deaths of five police officers. And, even though one of these died of natural causes and four reportedly committed suicide days and even months after the riot, the legacy media has dutifully linked their deaths to the Capitol demonstrators. All of this is part of an effort by the regime and its supporters to portray the demonstrators as violent insurrectionists who were galvanized and directed by President Donald Trump to forcibly overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The goal, of course, is to disqualify Trump from running for reelection.

Joe Biden is the sociopath

This may not be worth a post but I just saw it and it made me mad. William the Conqueror had more respect for your average Saxon serf (reparations!!! But I digress) than these swamp thingees do for everyone else. There are no rules for people like Biden.

Is There a Legal Remedy for George Santos’ Lies?

Congressman George Santos has lived a life of lies. He has lied about his early life, his academic record, his business experience, his wealth, his heritage, his personal life and his criminal record. He is fortunate that the vast majority of these lies have not been under oath. Nor have they defamed specific individuals. Unless he has lied on government forms, it is unlikely that he can be successfully prosecuted or civilly sued. His victims are primarily the voters who cast ballots for a person who was very different from who they believed him to be.

Yazidis: Germany to vote on declaring IS crimes as genocide

Parliamentarians in Germany are planning to declare that the atrocities committed by the “Islamic State” (IS) against Yazidis amounted to genocide, with a vote in the Bundestag expected next week.

The agreement was reported by public broadcaster “Tagesschau” and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) newspaper on Friday.

Both Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s three-party governing coalition and the largest opposition party have agreed to back the vote, which could lead to a judicial reappraisal and financial help for displaced Yazidis to return home.

Joe Rogan Rips George Soros As ‘An Evil Person in a Batman Movie’

Podcast host Joe Rogan was blunt in calling leftist billionaire George Soros’s vast political power in global politics “terrifying” and equated him to a Batman villain.

Soros is like “an evil person in a Batman movie,” Rogan quipped during the Jan. 12 edition of The Joe Rogan Experience with guest and former CIA covert operations officer Mike Baker. Rogan referenced Soros’ gambit to spend millions of dollars to elect leftist extremist district attorneys and politicians in order to advance his radical agenda.

OMG it’s not a parody

I was happily cruising Twitter looking for something to be outraged about, and of course it was super easy to find.

Today’s episode of ridiculousness is provided by an old standby: President Joe Biden. He always good for a laugh, at least if you are into octogenarians drooling, tripping, and wandering off into the wilderness, but his administration keeps fouling things up and embarrassing the country.
