UK bans Chinese cameras from government buildings

The U.K. is restricting Chinese-made surveillance equipment from sensitive sites including government buildings, based on a government review of security risks.

“The review has concluded that, in light of the threat to the U.K. and the increasing capability and connectivity of these systems, additional controls are required,” said Cabinet office minister Oliver Dowden in a statement to Parliament.

The cameras are “produced by companies subject to the National Intelligence Law of the People’s Republic of China,” Dowden added.

Same Dismal Pattern: CBS Only Mustered One Hunter Biden Story, ABC and NBC Fail to Notice

On Monday morning, CBS News became the first of the Big Three networks to announce that their “independent forensic review” found Hunter Biden’s laptop is full of authentic contents. They didn’t dwell on how CBS mocked this laptop as Fake News before Biden was elected in 2020. Then CBS did not air a story on Monday evening, or on Tuesday, or on Wednesday. It looks like a one-and-done.

Hundreds of black supremacists march through Brooklyn chanting ‘we are the real Jews’

Hundreds of supporters of black supremacy and NBA star Kyrie Irving marched through the streets of Brooklyn on Sunday chanting: ‘We are the real Jews’ and ‘Time to wake up.’

In one video obtained by DailyMail.com, the Black Hebrew Israelites, specifically the groups’ Members of Israel United in Christ sect, can be heard chanting in unison: ‘It’s time to wake up. I’ve got good news for you, we are the real Jews.’

The black supremacists have become emboldened in recent weeks after both Irving, who has previously said he believes the earth is flat and pushed unfounded conspiracy theories around Covid-19, as well as music superstar Kanye West brought their anti-Semitic talking points into the mainstream.

Douglas Todd: Ethnic politics is already a science in the U.S. It’s on the way in Canada

Canadians have been reluctant to probe how ethnicity affects politics. It’s finally opening up

In the U.S. polls are run constantly into the political preferences of voters based on ethnicity, in addition to gender, age, religion and other demographics.

Race-based politics has long been established in multi-ethnic cities like Chicago, New York and Miami. American pundits have also analyzed how religion and ethnicity combine, particularly since 1960 when 80 per cent of Catholics of European descent voted for John F. Kennedy.

The elite use mass immigration and official multiculturalism to balkanize Canada.

All mainstream political parties in Canada are guilty of engaging in identity politics.

Disagree and you will be labeled a racist.

‘This seems weirdly sexual’: Peta’s bizarre Thanksgiving memes roasted

A pair of creepy memes mocking meat eaters and pushing tofu turkey received an interesting reaction online after People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) put its own spin on a Thanksgiving favorite.

“POV: The dinner tables turned & a family is gathering around your dead body to share why they’re thankful.” PETA captioned one meme, which showed an anthropomorphized turkey family carving a human being who is being served for Thanksgiving dinner.

Colby Cosh: Jokes about sending tanks into Ottawa elucidate the ruling-class psyche

Among the zaniest nuggets of news to fall out of the Emergencies Act hearings this week was a text-message exchange in which exasperated federal cabinet ministers discussed mobilizing Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) tanks against last winter’s truck convoy protests centred on Ottawa. On Feb. 2, less than a week after the trucks showed up in the capital, Justice Minister David Lametti urged the public safety minister, Marco Mendicino, to act fast.

The GOP’s Hunter Biden Probe Is Legit

As a tactical concern, the House GOP’s decision to open an investigation into Biden family corruption is questionable. It promises limited political return. It would serve Republicans, and the country, far better if the House focused on a hyper-politicized Justice Department that targets the political opposition, labels concerned parents “domestic terrorists” and ignores violence aimed at pregnancy centers, for starters.

Europe accuses US of profiting from war

EU officials attack Joe Biden over sky-high gas prices, weapons sales and trade as Vladimir Putin’s war threatens to destroy Western unity.

Nine months after invading Ukraine, Vladimir Putin is beginning to fracture the West.

Top European officials are furious with Joe Biden’s administration and now accuse the Americans of making a fortune from the war, while EU countries suffer.

“The fact is, if you look at it soberly, the country that is most profiting from this war is the U.S. because they are selling more gas and at higher prices, and because they are selling more weapons,” one senior official told POLITICO.

The explosive comments — backed in public and private by officials, diplomats and ministers elsewhere — follow mounting anger in Europe over American subsidies that threaten to wreck European industry. The Kremlin is likely to welcome the poisoning of the atmosphere among Western allies.
