Death of Queen Elizabeth II: The moment history stops

This is the moment history stops; for a minute, an hour, for a day or a week; this is the moment history stops.

Across a life and reign, two moments from two very different eras illuminate the thread that bound the many decades together. At each a chair, a desk, a microphone, a speech. In each, that high-pitched voice, those clipped precise vowels, that slight hesitation about public speaking that would never quite seem to leave her.

One moment is sun-dappled, though the British people were suffering through a terrible post-war winter. A young woman, barely more than a girl really, sits straight-backed, her dark hair pulled up, two strings of pearls around her neck. Her youthful skin is flawless, she is very beautiful. A life opens out ahead of her.

California high school teacher boasts ‘queer library’ with material on orgies and BDSM/kink

“Let’s talk about dildos: I think a lot of people assume that where there is no penis, a desperate sexual void is created, out of which something [bleep] shaped must ultimately slot in order to satisfy,” the book continued. “I’ve only every slept with two women who enjoyed using dildos. I hate wearing a strap-on. I’ve only every done it once and NEVER AGAIN!”

I suspect the crap taught at Teacher’s Colleges is the reason so many female “educators” are being arrested for child molestation.

Ottawa promises review of parole board’s decision to release stabbing suspect from incarceration

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino on Tuesday evening announced that the Parole Board of Canada will review its decision to uphold Saskatchewan stabbing suspect Myles Sanderson’s release from minimum security incarceration.

The board ruled in February that it did not consider Sanderson to “present an undue risk to society” in its decision to maintain his release.

Sanderson was initially released from incarceration in a healing lodge in August 2021, but that release was suspended in November after it was determined that he had violated the conditions of his release.

More Healing Lodge is the answer to everything!

What kind of king will Charles be?

The new monarch is keenly aware of protocol but will not abandon the causes close to his heart

The Queen is dead: long live the King. The prince who has been waiting for the crown longer than any royal heir in British history has now acceded to the throne, and soon we will have the answer to the question that has been asked so many times: what sort of king will Charles be? Will he be a meddling monarch, or one who changes our fundamental understanding of what it is to be a modern sovereign?

For Charles the fact that he has been preparing for this moment for the whole of his adult life paradoxically makes the challenges he faces harder, not easier. The overwhelming majority of people have only ever known one sovereign. The Queen’s style, manner, and general approach to the discharging of her responsibilities have become so imprinted on the national consciousness that, to many of us, they are synonymous with what it is to be the monarch.

As Biden’s Climate Czar, John Kerry Has Flown More Than 180,000 Miles, Emitting 9.5 Million Pounds of Carbon

In his role as President Joe Biden’s climate czar, John Kerry has flown more than 180,000 miles—flights that emitted more than 9.5 million pounds of carbon, a Washington Free Beacon analysis found.

The Free Beacon reviewed 75 of Kerry’s official travel announcements from March 2021 to July 2022, which show Kerry has flown roughly 180,100 miles—the equivalent of traveling around the world more than seven times—to discuss climate change with various world leaders. Planes on average produce 53.3 pounds of carbon dioxide per mile traveled, according to carbon emissions modeling website BlueSkyModel, meaning Kerry’s flights have produced 9.54 million pounds, or 4,772 tons, of carbon—roughly 300 times the average American’s carbon footprint

Can We Manage to Integrate? Chicago suburb Oak Park’s effort to achieve racial balance counsels skepticism about engineered diversity.

One lesson from America’s two-decade Afghanistan debacle is that you can’t achieve success if you can’t define it. A political goal is seldom attained if every description of it sounds vague or arbitrary; it cannot be realized by any known policy mechanism; and it draws strong opposition from foes while earning only tepid support from putative constituents. Housing integration is no exception. As a senator, Walter Mondale was a leading congressional sponsor of the Fair Housing Act. After its 1968 enactment, he said that the law’s purpose was to replace ghettos by means of “truly integrated and balanced living patterns.” Fifty-four years later, it remains unclear how to parse or implement that objective.

The Shamima Begum delusion

Supporters and critics both rewrite history

… This revelation about Begum is not actually all that revelatory: The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ran a story on it in March 2015. But it didn’t attract much interest at the time. Kerbaj, the BBC and Begum’s legal team and her apologists want to change that, refocusing the story on how Begum was trafficked and how the West had a hand in it.

Good read. She was no “trafficked innocent.”

‘Cut Off One Of Their Ears’: In New Investigation, A Russian Soldier Describes Atrocities In Ukraine

A severed ear. An order to “destroy everything you see.” Houses looted or pulverized by Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers.

Twenty-one-year-old Russian soldier Stanislav Shmatov had no idea the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was recording his conversations when he contacted family back in Russia this spring from northeastern Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.

Like other Russian military personnel in Ukraine in the first months after the February 24 invasion, he spoke freely.

What Iran’s Terrorist Proxies Will Do with Biden’s Concessions and Billions

If and when the Biden administration signs a new nuclear deal with Iran, the mullahs’ Lebanese terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, will undoubtedly benefit from the billions of dollars that the Iranian regime is expected to receive once the sanctions on their country are lifted. Hezbollah will use the money to obtain more weapons, tighten its grip on Lebanon and prepare for more war with Israel. It will also use the money to undermine the security and stability of America’s allies in the Arab world.

Canadians, Americans Say China Is Greatest Health Threat for Their Countries: Survey

A majority of Canadians and Americans say they find China to be the greatest health threat to their countries, while agreeing that Chinese goods should be a top priority for inspection, a Nanos Research poll shows.

This synchronized view of the threats posed by China was published in the latest release of an 18-year tracking survey, co-conducted by the Canada-based Nanos and the University at Buffalo in New York. This latest survey is the seventh wave conducted since Justin Trudeau became the prime minister of Canada and the second wave with Joe Biden as president of the United States.

6M Canadians don’t have a family doctor, a third of them have been looking for over a year: report

More than a third of Canadians who don’t have a family doctor say they have been searching for one for more than a year, all while their health is declining compared to those with easy family doctor access, new research shows.

In the second report to come from an Angus Reid series focusing on Canada’s health-care access crisis, researchers laid out how many Canadians simply can’t find a family doctor.

Crisis upon crisis. Wheels within wheels. Better double the mass immigration number.

U.S. Prof Hopes Queen of ‘Genocidal Empire‘ Is In ‘Excruciating‘ Pain

News that doctors for Queen Elizabeth II “are concerned” for her health and she is “under medical supervision” at her estate in Balmoral, Scotland, has not been met with universal sympathy on blue tick Twitter, with an American university professor the owner of the most vicious hot take on her ailing health.
