Trudeau and NDP form parasitic socialist union

Deal in the works between Liberals and NDP that would keep Justin Trudeau’s government in power in exchange for NDP-friendly measures

A deal is in the works between the federal Liberals and New Democrats that could see Justin Trudeau’s minority government safely staying in power for the next few years — in exchange for NDP-friendly measures in the coming budgets.

News of the potential deal leaked after Trudeau informed his Liberal MPs on Monday night. Sources are saying that Liberals have committed to a dental care program and “real progress” on a national pharmacare program, as the NDP has long demanded.

If the Liberal-NDP deal goes ahead, and sources were saying negotiations were still going on late into Monday night, Canada would be spared a federal election until 2025.

Malmö: Two Teachers killed after violent attack at Swedish school

Two teachers in their 50s have died after a violent attack at a secondary school in the southern Swedish city of Malmö, police say.

An 18-year-old student at the school has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Local media report that the victims were stabbed, but no firearms were used in the attack.

The two women, employees of Malmö Latin School, were taken to hospital by ambulance but died of their injuries.

Malmo raises an eyebrow, it’s known for vibrant diversity, no word yet on the perp’s identity.

Putin ‘deports Ukrainians to camps’: Russia is accused of genocide by putting refugees in ‘filtration’ centres and forcibly taking them to remote Siberian towns after confiscating their phones and documents

Vladimir Putin has been accused of deporting Ukrainians to ‘filtration’ centres before forcibly taking them to remote Siberian towns after confiscating their phones and documents.

‘Several thousand’ people have so-far been taken, Mariupol city council claimed, before being processed through ‘filtration camps’ and sent to ‘remote cities’ in Russia where they will be obliged to stay for years and work for free.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said before he chaired a meeting of the bloc’s foreign ministers in Brussels that ‘what’s happening in Mariupol is a massive war crime. Destroying everything, bombarding and killing everybody in an indiscriminate manner. This is something awful’.

This is propaganda and clickbait. DM is reliable on some topics, but they will lie and obfuscate on others.

Russia May Not Stop With Ukraine – NATO Looks To Its Weakest Link

It looks a lot like a return to the past. Founded in 1949 to defend against the Soviet threat, the NATO alliance is facing a return to mechanised warfare, a huge increase in defence spending, and potentially a new Iron Curtain falling across Europe. After struggling to find a new post-Cold War role, countering terrorism following the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States in 2001 and a humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, NATO is back defending against its original nemesis.

For Justin Trudeau, Everything That Isn’t Liberal Is Racist

A new analysis from mainstream media sets the tone for serious discussion on the topic of racism: “Why aren’t more hate crime charges being laid in Canada? A Globe and Mail analysis examines police performance across the country.”

Surging Food, Gas Prices Dwarf Impact Of BoC Hike: National Bank

A National Bank of Canada economist is warning that the surge in inflation through the start of the year is poised to take a greater toll on household balance sheets than the Bank of Canada’s decision to raise rates off the effective lower bound.

‘I Don’t Wish It On My Worst Enemy’: Calgarians Detail Life With An Electricity Load Limiter

When the device is installed, a stove or anything else requiring 240 volts of electricity won’t work.

Load limiters allow for continued operation of a furnace, a few lights and small appliances (but only one at a time). If too much electricity is used at once, the limiter will trip — turning off the power all together, until the meter is reset physically by the client or remotely by the distribution company.

‘Climate Craziness’: Biden Administration Gets Slammed For Seeking Oil From Venezuela While Stifling American Energy Production

The Biden administration is considering lifting sanctions on Venezuela to combat the soaring price of gasoline but remains adamantly opposed to projects that will increase oil production in the United States.

Initially, officials in the U.S. State Department denied the Biden administration had any intention of relaxing sanctions on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s regime. The meeting between U.S. and Venezuelan officials in Caracas was purportedly about pressuring the regime to release detained American citizens and “championing the democratic aspirations of the Venezuelan people.”

Lawmakers Call For Investigation Over Hunter Biden Laptop Story Censorship

Last week, The New York Times admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop story was authentic, about 17 months after the New York Post published its content in September 2020. Now, Republicans are demanding a probe into the laptop and the censorship of the information about the laptop that was reported, suggesting that the suppression and discrediting of the story could have impacted the results of the 2020 Presidential election.

Biden Administration Backtracks On Media Reports Signaling Oil, Gas Leasing Resumption

On Friday, Reuters reported that the Department of the Interior (DOI), the agency tasked with overseeing the leasing program, was planning to resume the previously-delayed program. But a DOI spokesperson pushed back on the report, saying it overstated the administration’s position that it would begin planning the next steps, not that it had already resumed the program.

“The article overstates our next steps (we did not say we were resuming leasing but instead the planning),” Melissa Schwartz, the Interior spokesperson, told the Daily Caller News Foundation in an email.

European Islamophobia Report 2020

… The study leaves the gate asserting that in 2020, “the state of Islamophobia in Europe not only has not improved, but has worsened, if not reached a tipping point.” Worse, “French and Austrian Muslims have been left in the hands of brutal state violence.” Not only that, but the editors are grandiose about the importance of their topic for all of Europe: “Islamophobia not only directly devalues the lives of otherized people, but questions the humanity of a society that pretends to stand for the equality of all humans.”

As one might expect, those 886 pages are replete with instances of horrible things done and said against Muslims. As one might equally expect, many of the instances are not so horrible.

Journalists, or PR Agents? Why science reporters don’t report fairly on the origins of Covid-19

The worldwide toll of deaths from Covid-19 has just hit 6 million, nearly 1 million of which are in the United States. Few science stories are more important than understanding where the Covid virus came from. Yet the science writers’ section of the press corps has proved strangely incapable of telling the story straight.

Religion-Fueled Mobs on the Rise Again in Pakistan

KARACHI, Pakistan — Last month, a man named Muhammad Mushtaq was accused of burning pages of the Quran inside a mosque in central Pakistan. A mob armed with sticks, bricks and axes gathered at the mosque and dragged him out.

Mr. Mushtaq was tortured for hours and eventually killed, his body hung from a tree. A handful of police officers were among those who watched.

The Feb. 12 killing in the district of Khanewal was denounced across Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan said the government had “zero tolerance” for such mob violence and promised that the police officers would be punished.

Researchers warn that Christian nationalists are becoming more radical and are targeting voting

New research linking Christian nationalism with a desire to limit voting. People citing their faith as the reason they support trucker convoys that shut down the border over covid protections. And the fact that Jesus’ name appeared all over the place during the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol insurrection.

Concern about rising radicalism among a segment of White American Christians led this week to what some religious extremism experts call the biggest Congress-related event on the topic in years.

The Thursday evening briefing, called “God is On Our Side: White Christian Nationalism and the Capitol Insurrection,” was hosted by the Congressional Freethought Caucus, a group that includes Democratic House members Jamie Raskin of Maryland, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Zoe Lofgren of California and Steve Cohen of Tennessee.

Living with the crime of the century

The Times coverup and denial of Hunter Biden’s laptop, aided by Facebook and Twitter, has destroyed any trust we had left.

This is a tale between two newspapers, The New York Times versus the New York Post. The Post won…but too late.

The biggest losers are the American people.

Had the American people known the unsavory facts about Hunter Biden and his father, Joe, Trump would be enjoying his second term…and it does not matter if you love or hate Trump.
