Since the Holocaust serves as a unique example of evil, moral entrepreneurs have long sought to appropriate it to legitimate their causes. These days, a veritable industry of institutions and NGOs has assumed the role of genocide ‘experts’, who claim to hold the authority to pronounce which violent event or act of war should be assigned the label.

Aforgetful society lives on the precipice of history’s abyss. Lloyd Billingsley reminded us of this when he warned, “as ever, the struggle against genocide is the struggle of memory against forgetting.”

It is a horrific chronicle of how the insidious tactics and crimes into which the murderous ideology of communism metastasizes and, ultimately, consumes a people.
