US anti-vaccine mandate campaigners aim to mimic Canadian truck convoy tactic

A group of American truckers are seeking to import a Canadian movement to protest against vaccine mandates, with thousands of members on social media pledging to bring the demonstration to Washington DC next month.

In Canada trucker protests have been linked to the far right and caused days of disruption in the capital, Ottawa, as well as in a border town in Alberta.

US organizers operating a Facebook group called Convoy to DC 2022 quickly gained more than 100,000 members and announced a convoy next month. But the Facebook group was recently removed by Meta.

Suicide: Helping China in Space

China’s militant regime wants the United States to aid its space program, and some, including those in the U.S. space community, are eager to provide assistance. Such cooperation, however, would be extremely disadvantageous for the United States, as it has always been.

On January 28, Beijing issued “China’s Space Program: A 2021 Perspective,” its fifth white paper on the subject. Listed priorities include moon landings, asteroid defense, and space debris removal.

Oh No! Alert the Tone Police! – Obscene slogans spotted at trucker convoy sold on Amazon, Facebook

The ongoing trucker convoy protest has brought downtown Ottawa to a standstill. Amid the DIY signs and banners decrying Canada’s COVID-19 response, demonstrators have also been waving factory-made flags that bear obscene political slogans.

These flags and other offensive merchandise are available online from sellers on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace and more.

“Corporate greed has no moral compass, so of course businesses will take advantage of an opportunity like this,” Barbara Perry told CTV News. Perry directs the Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism at Ontario Tech University.

Conservatives need to move quickly to replace Erin O’Toole, party president says

Federal Conservatives say they have to move quickly to find a permanent replacement for Erin O’Toole, because the minority government means Prime Minister Justin Trudeau could trigger an early election.

Conservative Party president Robert Batherson said Thursday that an organizing committee, which has not yet been appointed, will make a decision on when to hold an election for a new party leader. The same committee, he said, will determine other rules for the leadership race.

But he noted there are time pressures facing the Official Opposition party. “We know from Justin Trudeau calling an election in a pandemic last year that he can call an election at any time,” Mr. Batherson said.

‘Security experts’ concerned about possible ‘threat financing’ tied to trucker convoy … Now do extorted tax dollars being used to threaten citizens

Canadians ought to be worried about whether crowdfunding websites could be used to finance hate groups and other extremist organizations, financial crime and security experts warn.

As the so-called “freedom convoy” enters its second week of protests in Ottawa, hard questions are being asked about a GoFundMe campaign set up by convoy organizers and whether any of the $10 million raised so far might have come from malevolent sources keen on wreaking havoc in Canada.

What nonsense. I wonder how much money Communist China donates to Trudeau and the LPC?

Ottawa police launch ‘surge and contain’ strategy to contain protesters

Ottawa police say they’ll increase their presence and further restrict access to the city’s downtown to control what’s expected to be another weekend of noisy protests, but they warn the situation remains volatile and dangerous.

In a Friday morning news release, police said the new “surge and contain strategy” means there will immediately be about 150 more officers dedicated to patrolling central Ottawa neighbourhoods and enforcing laws, more heavy barricades to manage traffic and more intelligence work with provincial and national help to lay charges, including against those planning and funding illegal activity.

The newest reparations-style plan from President Joe Biden ditches cash payouts to border crossers subjected to former President Trump’s “Zero Tolerance Policy” and, instead, provides them with amnesty to permanently resettle in the United States.

LILLEY: Trudeau Liberals still want to regulate the internet in a way that should concern you

The Trudeau government’s latest promise not to censor your grandma’s cat videos doesn’t mean they aren’t trying once again to regulate the internet in a very bad way. The new Bill C-11 is entirely aimed at bringing the same kinds of regulations we have on Canadian TV and radio to the online world.

Justin Trudeau is a Bungler and Menace to His Nation

At the beginning of January, Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, posted a message on Twitter in which he announced that he had just received his Covid vaccine booster and urged others to do likewise.

Astoundingly, at the conclusion of his message, Trudeau urged everyone to get the shots even though they failed to protect him from the disease. “Everyone, please get vaccinated and get boosted,” he insisted.

Trudeau’s message shows the depth of irrationality – bordering on insanity – to which many have fallen, victim. We propose to call this phenomenon the Vaccine Insanity Syndrome (VIS). Those who suffer from VIS have largely lost touch with reality and things like common sense, evidence and logic no longer gain any traction in their thinking.
