Canada to stop financing fossil fuel projects abroad by end of 2022

Our planet is changing. So is our journalism. This story is part of a CBC News initiative entitled Our Changing Planet to show and explain the effects of climate change and what is being done about it.

“We are in a climate crisis. We need to urgently reduce emissions in every sector of the economy, everywhere in the world. This, of course, applies to the energy sector as to all sectors of the economy,” Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said during the announcement.

Ontario seeking to double skilled immigrants to address labour shortage

Ontario is calling on the federal government to double the number of immigrants allowed into the province under a program aimed at boosting the skilled workforce.

Labour Minister Monte McNaughton says the province is facing a significant labour shortage that has been intensified by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ontario medical regulator initiates legal action against doctors opposed to COVID-19 vaccines

The CPSO said in the statement that they are seeking to compel Dr. Celeste Jean Thirlwell, Dr. Mary Elizabeth O’Connor, Dr. Mark Raymond Trozzi and Dr. Rochagne Kilian to comply with ongoing investigations into their practices, including their issuance of medical exemptions for COVID-19 vaccines and testing.

Would Trudeau Destroy Canada’s Oil Industry If Quebec Was Its Main Source?

Leave it to provocative journalist Rex Murphy to lay it on the line. In a recent piece on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s performance at the COP26 climate summit, Murphy makes a most eloquent point.

Angry Democrats Slam Joe Biden After Catastrophic Election, ‘Nobody Elected Him to Be FDR’

Imperiled and “mad” Democrats slammed President Joe Biden on Wednesday after the catastrophic election that left the Democrat Party disoriented over the defeats in Virginia, New York State, New Jersey, and Texas.

TRAIN WRECK: Rittenhouse Prosecution Implodes With State Witness Richard McGinnis of Daily Caller

To provide some context, for more than 12 minutes ADA Binger tried to get McGinnis to testify that Rosenbaum was already falling to the ground when Rittenhouse began shooting him–in other words, that Rittenhouse simply executed Rosenbaum by shooting him in the back when he was helplessly falling.

The actual exchange is in the video, so you can watch it for yourself, but a reasonable paraphrase would go something like this:

Binger: So Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum, in the back, as he was falling, correct?

McGinnis: No, Rittenhouse didn’t fire until Rosenbaum charged and lunged at him.

Binger: So he shot him as he was falling?

McGinnis: No, not falling, lunging.

Binger: So you’re saying he shot him while he was falling?

McGinnis: No, that’s not my testimony. Lunging.

This is NOT how it’s supposed to be done, folks.

Here Are The Conservatives Suing Biden Over His ‘Unconstitutional’ Vaccine Coercion

At least 19 states have already begun to legally pursue action against the Biden administration for forcing medical coercion on federal contractors but following the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s new emergency temporary standard demanding employers with 100 or more workers mandate the jab, others are looking to sue too. OSHA’s explicit threat that the rule could eventually extend to smaller businesses in the near future has also pushed politicians, attorneys, and business owners to take legal action.

FBI releases declassified documents on Sept. 11 attacks

WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI released hundreds of pages of newly declassified documents Wednesday about its long effort to explore connections between the Saudi government and the Sept. 11 attacks, revealing the scope of a strenuous but ultimately fruitless investigation whose outcome many question to this day.

Agents for years investigated support given to several of the hijackers upon their arrival in the U.S., focusing in particular on whether three Saudi nationals — including a Saudi Embassy official in Washington — had advance knowledge of the attacks.

Ultimately, investigators found insufficient evidence to charge any of the three with illegally supporting the hijackers, according to an FBI memo from May that closed out the probe and was among the more than 700 pages released Wednesday. The FBI noted in the memo that al-Qaida compartmentalized the roles within its major attacks and “did not make the attack plans known in advance to others” for fear of word getting out.

The Royal Marines defeat the US Marines at the ‘Battle of the Mojave Desert’

The Marines occupy an almost mythic place in many Americans’ minds as an invincible force that runs to the guns and fights no matter what. That’s why it was so shocking to learn that, during a joint training exercise in the Mojave Desert, Britain’s Royal Marines inflicted such a shellacking on the Americans that the latter had to surrender halfway through the exercise. This is a direct result of the Pentagon having gone woke under Obama — something that Trump failed to undo — followed by Biden doubling down on Obama’s policies.

The Glasgow Festival of Globalist Virtue-Signaling

Lots of moral preening and apocalyptic rhetoric on the agenda.

The Biden administration is attending the UN’s 26th “Conference of Parties,” the annual summit on what used to be called “Global Warming,” but is now dubbed “Climate Change.” Thirty thousand government officials, including heads of state posing for photo-ops, and government clerks enjoying taxpayer funded junkets, along with noisy activists, NGOs, and “green energy” corporate grifters hunting for more subsidies––all are spewing tons of CO2 into the atmosphere to attend the summit, leaving behind a King Kong-sized carbon footprint.

Why the Left won’t let go of Brandon

They believe Biden is too fragile to be President

It’s a year today since the triumph of then-candidate Joe Biden over the then-incumbent Donald Trump. But in the 12 months since, some have struggled to accept it. Not just the Trump supporters who continue to insist the election was stolen, but also the Democrats who seem to believe that Biden’s hold on power is so tenuous, so fragile, that it could all fall apart at any moment.

Environmentalism cannot survive democracy

People will not put up with being pushed around forever.

The celebs, the extravagance, the private jets… the hypocrisy of COP26 makes it easy to lampoon, with world leaders and activists emitting more carbon dioxide in a few days than some would muster in a lifetime, all in order to intone piously about the horrors of climate change.

But I for one wouldn’t have it any other way. For one thing, the gilded nature of these eco gatherings helpfully reminds us of the environmentalists’ guilty secret: that for all the crocodile tears in Glasgow about the lot of the world’s poor, environmentalist politics remains a thoroughly elite preoccupation, which evaporates upon contact with ordinary people.

Italy’s Green Pass Demonstrations Shake Europe

Italians are taking to the streets and the ports to protest the country’s far-reaching vaccine passport system.

On October 15, 2021, Italy became the first country in the Western world to impose the “green pass” for workers, consequently forcing people to either get fully vaccinated or not be allowed to work. While the government said that it is not a mandatory vaccination measure because the alternative is to take a rapid test that lasts for 48 hours, it is also true that such a test costs 15 euros. Now, considering that people work 5 to 6 days a week, a worker who does not want to get vaccinated would have to spend approximately 180 euros per month.

The Grand Old Duke of York attacks an Epstein victim

Prince Andrew – Duke of Diddling

Prince Andrew has never looked more desperate and vindictive

If one was to look up the dictionary definition of “brass neck,” it should come with a picture of the Grand Old Duke of York, grinning inanely and posing in his regimental finery. Obstinacy has been a steady feature of his life, but one only brought into full public view since his entanglement with Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew seems incapable of listening to anyone who is neither extremely wealthy nor a member of the British royal family — and judging by his recent antics, both of those sectors of society are given short shrift, too.

Chicago’s richest neighborhoods are besieged by gun crime and daylight car jackings but are being IGNORED ‘because they are wealthy’

Chicago’s wealthiest neighborhoods are not safe from the crime wave plaguing the Windy City and are being deprived of much-needed violence prevention funding, an Illinois lawmaker raged, after he shared harrowing footage of a drive-by shooting right outside his front door.

Rep. Jaime Andrade, 49, posted video from his Ring doorbell showing two vehicles driving into his a picturesque street lit only by porch lights in the North Side neighborhood of Albany Park.

Within seconds, dozens of loud gunshots go off one after the other. One car appears to back away while another is heard speeding off in the distance.
