Trudeau Pledges $1B For Gun Confiscation Plan

When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called for snap elections a couple of weeks ago, the polls were looking pretty good for his Liberal Party. Since then, however, the fortunes of Trudeau’s party have seen a steady decline in the polls, while the Conservative Party is gaining ground. At the moment, most polling shows Conservatives with a small lead over the Liberals, though not enough to obtain an outright majority. Still, Trudeau’s clearly in trouble, and on Wednesday his party unveiled an election platform chock-full of goodies and giveaways to Canadian voters. For gun owners, however, it’s what the Liberals are promising to take away that’s most concerning.

Australia Traded Away Too Much Liberty

In a bid to keep the coronavirus out of the country, Australia’s federal and state governments imposed draconian restrictions on its citizens. Prime Minister Scott Morrison knows that the burden is too heavy. “This is not a sustainable way to live in this country,” he recently declared. One prominent civil libertarian summed up the rules by lamenting, “We’ve never seen anything like this in our lifetimes.”

Up to now one of Earth’s freest societies, Australia has become a hermit continent. How long can a country maintain emergency restrictions on its citizens’ lives while still calling itself a liberal democracy?

Could Vaccine Passports Bring Canadian Society To Its Knees?

Chaos is coming. It is not that we can legitimately hold Trudeau responsible for the Covid epoch of history. Rather, what was originally stated in October, 2015 is the following:

Justin Trudeau as Canadian prime minister is certain to usher in a form of societal destruction. We could not name what form this would take–only that the second coming of a Trudeau-family PM was to coincide with nation-transforming damage.

Debate? Oh Yea that Debate

In first leaders debate, Trudeau hints at another election in 18 months if denied majority

NatPo – OTTAWA – Liberal leader Justin Trudeau came out swinging against the Conservative, New Democrat and Bloc Québécois leaders, who criticized his decision to plunge Canada into an election and attacked him whenever possible during two hours of the first “decisive” debate in French.

Global – Federal leaders face off over COVID-19 and vaccinations in first election debate

When asked about implementing mandatory vaccinations for adults, the leaders seemed to agree they don’t want to mandate people to roll up their sleeves — with O’Toole saying it’s important to “educate but not force” Canadians.

But Trudeau said he is in favour of limiting the privileges of those who choose not to get vaccinated, while Singh said “We can make it necessary for federal workers.”

CTV – Four leaders made final pitches to voters after heated debate

Taking his turn at the podium, Trudeau sought to clarify his position on whether Canadians would be heading back to the polls quickly should the Sept. 20 election result in a minority government.

During the debate, Trudeau said there would likely be another vote in 18 months if Canadians don’t elect a majority.

The Star – Party leaders clash in French-language debate over climate, health and Trudeau’s election call

OTTAWA—Weeks after he pulled the plug on his own minority government, Justin Trudeau predicted Thursday that Canadians could be back at the polls within 18 months if they don’t elect a majority.

During Thursday night’s French debate in Montreal, the Liberal leader was the sole man on stage who said a minority government could fall within two years of the federal election on Sept. 20.

And for that, he blamed the Conservatives.

The Globe – Trudeau attacked over election call in French-language debate; O’Toole targeted for vaccinations, childcare

Justin Trudeau faced sharp criticism over his decision to call an election during the pandemic, while Erin O’Toole was repeatedly challenged on mandatory vaccinations and child care during the first French-language debate of the federal campaign.

The Liberal and Conservative leaders shared a stage with Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh in Montreal during the debate organized by the Quebec television network TVA. The French and English debates organized by the Leaders’ Debates Commission will take place on Sept. 8 and 9.

CBC -Federal leaders spar over vaccines, health care and guns in first French-language debate

The main party leaders appeared on stage for the first time Thursday in a French-language debate that was at times raucous as the four men fiercely competed for votes in a province that could very well decide who is Canada’s next prime minister.

The two-hour debate, hosted by TVA, a major broadcaster in Quebec, was a chance for Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau to regain some of the momentum he had earlier this summer when polls showed he had a massive lead in the country’s second largest province.

CBC’s Poll Tracker still has Trudeau and the Liberals ahead of others in Quebec but the margin has narrowed.

POLLS

Today’s Polls – The Star and CTV are about the same, CBC has a slightly narrower CPC lead but still predicts a likely Lib minority.

Six injured in ISIS inspired ‘terror attack’ in Auckland

A known extremist was responsible for a terror attack in Auckland which has seen six people injured, three of whom are in critical condition, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Friday evening.

The man was shot and killed by members of a police Special Tactics Group within 60 seconds of the attack beginning, Ardern said. He was a Sri Lankan national who came to New Zealand in October 2011 and has been considered a “person of national security interest” from 2016.

Ardern said she was limited in what more she could share about the man as a result of suppression orders made by the court, although a spokesman for the Prime Minister later confirmed the Crown was “seeking the court’s urgent lifting of the suppression orders, which will be filed this [Friday] evening”.

Seems he was a known unknown – ‘Violent extremist’ responsible for mall terrorist attack was ‘known threat to New Zealand’

TORONTO — Given the racial reckoning that began in 2020, community organizers and political scientists say it’s disappointing that major political parties are still failing to have slates of candidates that fully reflect Canada’s diversity.

“My sense is that that moment is passing away,” Debra Thompson, Canada Research Chair in Racial Inequality in Democratic Societies at McGill University, told CTVNews.ca in a phone interview.

Pro-Antifa Teacher Paints Himself as the Victim, After Project Veritas Busts Him

We’ve previously reported on the story of Gabriel Gipe, the pro-Antifa high school AP teacher at Inderkum High School in California.

Gipe said on a Project Veritas video that he only had “180 days” to “scare the f**k” out of the students and turn them into “revolutionaries.” He had an Antifa flag on the wall, as well as a picture of Mao, and he said he gave them “extra credit” for attending Antifa actions/protests. He also suggested he wasn’t the only teacher at the school with such an attitude.

‘Enough’: Australian newspaper The Age comes out against extended lockdown in fiery editorial

Australia’s The Age newspaper has sparked fresh division in Victoria after publishing an extensive editorial article harshly criticizing the state government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and recent lockdown extensions.

On Wednesday, the paper published an editorial headlined “Victoria can’t go on like this.” The piece condemned Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews and the Labor State Government over its extension of harsh lockdown measures and a lack of evidence to back them up.

Isn’t “The Age” lefty?

Is Disabling the U.S. Military Through Mandatory Vaccinations Part of the Globalists’ Plan?

It seems more and more lately, I’ve had to preface articles with two proclamations: I was never a conspiracy theorist and I was never an “anti-vaxxer” until the events of 2020-2021 forced me to look long and hard at world events and their meanings. At some point I’ll likely have to accept both labels unapologetically, though I don’t believe the earth is flat and my only real vaccine concerns are over the Covid-19 injections.

Senior Chinese diplomats told Kerry during his visit to China that the issue of climate change could not be separated from the broader political disputes between the two sides.

Yes, the Left is that Stupid

We’ve been hearing a lot of speculation that the Afghan debacle is more than it seems – that rather than being a typical outcome of activity by some of the dumbest, most ill-informed, and most blinkered individuals ever to occupy places in the U.S government, it is instead a dark, convoluted conspiracy aimed at some goal sinister beyond words.

Some of this is from the usual suspects who see conspiracies every time a cat falls out of a tree, and some by more reputable people. The core concept here can be expressed simply: “There has to be something else going on. Nobody could be that stupid.”

Absurd Absurd

Sirhan Sirhan’s parole is a story of doubly silly decisions to hollow out the criminal-justice system.

Last Friday, two California parole board commissioners recommended release for Sirhan Sirhan, convicted a half century ago of the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy—then a senator and presidential candidate. Two of Kennedy’s eight living children—one of whom, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is a conspiracy theorist who maintains that someone else shot his father—supported the ruling. It also received the tacit endorsement of Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, the “progressive prosecutor” whose policy is never to send one of his attorneys to parole hearings.

ACLU slammed for claiming mandatory Covid vaccination ‘FURTHERS civil liberties’ & saying right to bodily autonomy not ‘absolute’

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) was publicly condemned on Thursday after arguing that mandatory Covid-19 vaccination actually advances civil liberties instead of compromising them.

In an article for the New York Times – which the ACLU posted on its official Twitter account – ACLU National Legal Director David Cole and colleague Daniel Mach defended vaccine mandates by claiming that the right to bodily autonomy is overruled when others are put at risk.
