No Liberty? No Problem: Australians shrug at their government’s draconian pandemic response.

Riot police firing rubber bullets into lockdown protesters. Rescue dogs being shot to prevent volunteers travelling to collect them. Nighttime curfews and one hour of exercise per day. Five-kilometer travel limits. Soldiers patrolling suburbs to enforce lockdowns. Health bureaucrats advising the citizenry not to stop and talk to their neighbors while walking their dog.

The CDC Appoints Itself Language Police With Science-Defying Lingo List

In its latest lurch to the left, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are instructing healthcare partners to adopt anti-science language manipulation to satisfy woke demands.

Using vague buzzwords such as “equity,” “inclusive,” “intersectional,” “diversity,” and “systemic social and health inequities,” the CDC is justifying a new era of manipulated, sometimes anti-scientific, leftist terms to be applied in healthcare settings as “both language and cultural norms change.”

Leonard Cohen – Dance Me to the End of Love

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic ’til I’m gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Oh let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Show me slowly what I only know the limits of
Oh dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the wedding now, oh dance me on and on
Dance me very tenderly and dance me very long
We’re both of us beneath our love, we’re both of us above
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the children who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now, though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic ’til I’m gathered safely in
Touch me with your naked hand, touch me with your glove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Treason: Afghanistan Disaster Is More Proof Biden Is Owned Lock, Stock and Barrel by China

The tragedy and catastrophe that just happened in Afghanistan is more proof positive of my contention — President Joe Biden, his family and his Democrat puppet handlers are China-owned. They are doing China’s bidding.

Sabrina Maddeaux: Millennial support for smug Trudeau Liberals in an unsurprising free fall

For the better part of the last decade, millennials have simultaneously been taken for granted and written off by Canadian politicians. The federal Liberals assumed young voters would always be in their corner. This was partly thanks to historical trends, but also a reflection of the party’s trademark smug moral superiority and belief they were truly the only option on the table.

Conservatives on ‘rocket ride’ as seat projection shows close race: Nanos

TORONTO — The Conservatives continue to run just ahead of the Liberals in ballot support, and have also all but erased the previous Liberal lead in projected seats, according to nightly tracking conducted by Nanos Research for CTV News and the Globe and Mail.

Pentagon Had Advanced Intel on ‘Mass Casualty Attack’ at Kabul Airport Attack But Failed to Stop It: Report

Politico has released bombshell information, obtained through a confidential source at the Pentagon, angering top military officials. The informant gave copies of detailed notes from three conference calls to Politico that showed military brass knew that a deadly attack was coming 24 hours before the suicide bomb at Kabul airport and was unable to stop it.

IPCC relies on foregone conclusions to push climate narrative

The first report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on the science of climate change was released in 1990. The most recent one, the 6th Assessment Report (“AR6”), released two weeks ago, thus marks more than 30 years of operations. I’ve been an expert reviewer for both the physical science and social science working groups since the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4), which first went out for review in August 2005. I’ve criticized the IPCC in the past for being obtuse when it comes to reporting findings that go against its preferred narrative. I can illustrate the long-standing nature of this problem by explaining the history of a single sentence in the AR6.

The US must throw off the shackles of defeatism entrenched within Biden’s far-left administration

The Afghanistan debacle has been devastating for America’s standing in the world. In the last two weeks the most powerful nation on earth has been spectacularly humiliated by a brutal and barbaric Islamist movement that had been ousted from power just two decades ago. President Biden’s decline has been just as precipitous, with his approval rating now barely reaching 45 per cent.

The Biden administration is also struggling on the economic front, addicted to a heavy-spending, big-government agenda that will saddle Americans with trillions of dollars of additional debt, raising the spectre of a dangerous surge in inflation. And in practically every aspect of American life, the Democrat presidency is advancing a “woke” racially divisive ideological agenda that is stifling freedom of speech, thought and debate in public life.

America’s allies are now increasingly questioning whether the US under Biden has the ability, capacity and willpower to lead the free world. And many governments across the Atlantic are now looking beyond what is very likely to be a one-term administration, hoping for a new US commander in chief who can actually lead with strength and resolve.

Taliban celebrate victory as U.S. troops leave Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Taliban fighters watched the last U.S. planes disappear into the sky around midnight Monday and then fired their guns into the air, celebrating victory after a 20-year insurgency in Afghanistan that drove the world’s most powerful military out of one of the poorest countries.

The departure of the cargo planes marked the end of a massive airlift in which tens of thousands of people fled Afghanistan, fearful of the return of Taliban rule after they took over most of the country and rolled into the capital earlier this month.

“The last five aircraft have left, it’s over!” said Hemad Sherzad, a Taliban fighter stationed at Kabul’s international airport. “I cannot express my happiness in words. … Our 20 years of sacrifice worked.”

The Failed State of Lebanon to Combat ‘Normalization’ with Israel

The financial and economic crisis in Lebanon is dragging the country towards mayhem at a quickening pace, according to various reports. Lebanon is running out of critical medicines and is witnessing fuel shortages. The economic collapse has stripped the national currency of most of its value and left four out of five Lebanese citizens below the poverty line.

The World Bank has described the crisis as among the worst in over a century.

The crisis, however, has not stopped the Lebanese authorities from again displaying their hostility towards Israel.

Suicide bomb victim Rylee McCollum’s sister blasts Joe Biden’s ‘scripted and shallow’ chat at Delaware memorial service

The sister of one of the 13 US troops killed in an ISIS-K suicide blast in Afghanistan last week slammed President Biden for comments he made while paying his respects Sunday, referring to them as ‘scripted’ and ‘shallow.’

On Sunday, the remains of Marine Rylee McCollum, 20, were returned to the United States, where Biden, along with McCollum’s pregnant wife, Jiennah Crayton, and his sister Roice, received him at Dover Air force in Delaware.

Biden met privately with McCollum’s family, in addition to families of the 12 other fallen service members, before quietly observing flag-draped cases transport their bodies off a plane.
