Three Polls

Liberals and Conservatives ‘neck and neck’ in race for the GTA: Poll

The Forum Research Poll released Monday shows that among decided and leaning voters, 36 per cent would vote Liberal if the election were held today and 35 per cent say they would vote for the Conservatives. The poll found 17 per cent would vote for the NDP, six per cent would vote for the People’s Party of Canada and just three per cent would vote for the Green Party.

The Liberals’ support is strongest among women, those 65 and older, and those who live in the 416 area.

Conservative support is strongest among men, those 55-64 and those who live in the 905.

Support for the NDP is strongest among those who identify as non-binary and younger voters.

GTA young people are stupid.

And… Liberals maintain lead as election begins, but face tough road to majority: poll

Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party remain poised to win next month’s election as the campaign gets underway, a new poll suggests — but the road to a majority government may prove to be a tough one.

The Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News found that the Liberals would receive 36 per cent of the vote if the election were held tomorrow, while Erin O’Toole and the Conservatives would earn 31 per cent. Jagmeet Singh’s NDP would get 20 per cent.

Leger says Trudeau is in the lead…

While it is possible Trudeau could lose the sheer size of our permanent political class will ensure victory.

Corporate welfare cases, NGO’s, Academia and our predatory public service unions are a formidable voting bloc that have all developed an enduring fondness for your money and they aim to keep it that way.

How many people work in government across Canada alone, at all levels, Federal, Provincial, Municipal?

More than enough to ensure they will always have a hand in your pocket, if not Trudeau someone else will buy them off at your expense.

Liberals at work.

Afghanistan’s military were negotiating surrender & desertion for the past year

Afghanistan’s military collapse: Illicit deals and mass desertions

KABUL — The spectacular collapse of Afghanistan’s military that allowed Taliban fighters to walk into the Afghan capital Sunday despite 20 years of training and billions of dollars in American aid began with a series of deals brokered in rural villages between the militant group and some of the Afghan government’s lowest-ranking officials.

The deals, initially offered early last year, were often described by Afghan officials as cease-fires, but Taliban leaders were in fact offering money in exchange for government forces to hand over their weapons, according to an Afghan officer and a U.S. official.

Over the next year and a half, the meetings advanced to the district level and then rapidly on to provincial capitals, culminating in a breathtaking series of negotiated surrenders by government forces, according to interviews with more than a dozen Afghan officers, police, special operations troops and other soldiers.

The Rehab Begins: Sick CNN Host Spins Biden’s Chaos in Afghanistan as ‘Brave’

Get ready. The rehab effort of Joe Biden’s disastrously incompetent handling of America’s exit from Afghanistan is beginning. While some on CNN (like Jake Tapper) have acted like real journalists and grilled the administration, others are already trying to turn the debacle around. Just minutes after Biden addressed the nation (taking no questions), CNN’s Fareed Zakaria deemed the President’s speech on Monday as “brave.”

How Trudeau Utilizes 3rd World Candidates To Win Elections

A contentious issue it is. As it would be for any social issue that could be branded an act of racism. Here we speak of a political circumstance untouched by mainstream media.

Is it an act of condemnation to elucidate the manner in which 3rd World immigration impacts Canadian politics? To do so may not involve criticism of politicians based upon ethnicity. It is a matter of exposing circumstances which otherwise will not be understood within the spectrum of election-oriented politics.

All-Girls Robotics Team From Afghanistan Begging to Come to Canada: Report

Afghanistan’s all-girls robotics team is trying to escape the country and make it to Canada while the Taliban, known for its cruelty against women, continues to regain control over the nation.

“To talk to these girls and listen to them crying over the phone to be saved… Begging that the Canadians save them… These girls have a future—they deserve to have a future. They all want to go to college. They will not be able to do that if they remain in Afghanistan,” said human rights lawyer Kimberley Motley on CBC News Network.

Dear Media: You got what you wanted and what you worked for. Happy now?

Our despicable mainstream media did everything in their vast and coercive power to see Joe Biden elected president.

President Trump was a madman, they said, a Hitler, and a host of other ridiculous charges that were patently untrue. He was, and history will show, that he was the best president since Ronald Reagan.

But the media hated him because he wasn’t one of their imagined exalted elite. So they lied, cheated, and stole an election in order to put the dementia-ridden Biden in the Oval Office.

‘Nowhere to go’: divorced Afghan women in peril as the Taliban close in

There’s an old saying in Afghanistan that encapsulates the country’s views on divorce: “A woman only leaves her father’s house in the white bridal clothes, and she can only return in the white shrouds.”

In this deeply conservative and patriarchal society, women who defy convention and seek divorce are often disowned by their families and shunned by Afghan society. Left alone, they have to fight for basic rights, such as renting an apartment, which require the involvement or guarantees of male relatives.

Despite the social stigma and barriers to independence, there are divorced women living in Afghanistan today. Women like Roqia* and Tahira*, who divorced seven and eight years ago respectively, and now share an apartment. Together, Roqia and Tahira have weathered many storms and supported each other, united by their similar experiences.

Fleeing Afghanistan

The worst possible message to our enemies across the world.

The Biden administration’s feckless withdrawal from Afghanistan is sending the worst possible message to our enemies across the world. Our rivals are already convinced of our lack of morale and our fear of the consequences from a response serious enough to concentrate their minds. Twenty years after 9/11, and we still haven’t figured out the nature and aims of those who for decades have in word and bloody deed told us we are an enemy they want to destroy.

Instead we cling to our shopworn belief that “diplomatic engagement” can deter and stop a fanatic enemy, hoping words can substitute for deeds. But all we’ll achieve is further damage to our already fraying national prestige.
