I bet CBC is so jealous!

As Marxist critical race theory (CRT) continues its march through the institutions, the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association published a paper warning about the “malignant, parasitic-like” condition of “Whiteness.” The article’s author, Donald Moss, M.D., argued that the condition of “Whiteness” is not the same thing as “whiteness” as a marker of racial identity, but his article arguably furthers the CRT demonization of the roots of Western society.

Last year, the New York Times ran a front-page story on a young cheerleader who said the n-word in a viral video. Yet, today, the paper is entirely silent about the egregious and voluminous use of the same word by Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.
In December of last year, the so-called “paper of record” wrote an article praising the actions of a left-wing activist who published a video of a teenage, bi-racial cheerleader using the n-word when she was a 15-year-old girl. The video went viral, and the activist suggested that the young woman was a prime target for the cancel culture.

OTTAWA — A parliamentary committee issued a scathing report Thursday on the Trudeau government’s now-cancelled deal with WE Charity that includes calls for stronger measures to protect against inappropriate lobbying and conflicts of interest.
The report from the House of Commons ethics committees followed months of contentious hearings and the release of thousands of pages of documents since last spring, when the government first inked the agreement with WE.
Thousands of people, including political and community leaders, gathered outside a London mosque Tuesday night to remember the members of a Muslim family who police say were intentionally struck down by a vehicle in a hate-motivated attack over the weekend. Speakers at the vigil included leaders from all the major federal and provincial parties, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier Doug Ford.

That’s the woke Left’s one and only goal.
With all the talk about racism, let me ask a simple question. How do you make someone a racist? Assuming that’s what you want to do.
For the woke Left, that’s a no-brainer. Just be born with white skin. The two-month-old child, the American Nazi — no difference, really, if they’re white.

The City of Turku has removed the rainbow-themed crosswalk it opened only a day ago in celebration of the Gay Pride Month observed in June, the local newspaper Åbo Underrättelser reported.
While the effort was supported by the Turku City Theatre located nearby and received positive press coverage, this dedication sparked objections from the Police Board, who said that any way of covering the crossing violated Finland’s Road Traffic Act.

The US branch of the Brazilian meat processor company JBS has paid $11 million worth of bitcoin to cyber-criminals who breached its computer systems and held them for ransom, its chief executive has revealed.
“It was very painful to pay the criminals, but we did the right thing for our customers,” Andre Nogueira, the CEO of JBS USA Holdings Inc, told the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday. He added that the ransom payment was made after the majority of JBS plants had resumed operations.

As Hamas indiscriminately bombed Israeli cities from May 11 to May 17, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a speech in Ankara in which he targeted both Israel and Jews with antisemitic slurs. Erdogan disseminated countless falsehoods that misinformed the Turkish public about Israel, the Jewish people, Gaza, and other issues — all the while fanning the flames of antisemitism.
… Recent party infighting over issues like the Israel-Palestine conflict took her away from the issues that matter most to her constituents, Atwin said.
“It certainly played a role,” she said, when asked whether a recent dispute over Green Party Leader Annamie Paul’s public statements about the Middle Eastern conflict pushed her to join the Liberals. Paul has been accused of ignoring established party policy on Israel.
At a press conference alongside Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc today, Atwin said that while she’ll stand for a different party in the coming election, “my priorities, my values remain the same.”
Annamie is pro-Israel so the Libs have just welcomed… what exactly?

The National Post and many other papers owned by Postmedia published an open letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday, calling for action against the “predatory monopoly practices of Google and Facebook against Canadian news media.”
American activists decrying the Christian genocide in Nigeria are asserting that jihadist violence is motivated partly by an effort to enslave women and girls.
“Most of the individuals captured by Boko Haram jihadists are young women and girls taken by force and trafficked as slave concubines,” the Committee to Free Nigerian Slaves (CFNS) said a statement.

OTTAWA — Canada’s national police force broke privacy law by using controversial facial recognition software that put innocent Canadians in a “24/7 police lineup,” the federal privacy commissioner says.
The RCMP conducted “hundreds” of searches of Clearview AI’s database of billions of photos scraped from the public internet, including social media sites, without consent. The company lets law enforcement and private business then match photos against that database.

CHICAGO—Since Illinois lawmakers passed a major criminal justice reform bill in January, five Illinois sheriffs have retired early and six sheriffs are set to retire this summer, according to Illinois Sheriff Association (ISA) executive director Jim Kaitschuk.
“This is the most I’ve seen. They’re quitting as a direct result of the legislation,” Kaitschuk told The Epoch Times.
