US general: China’s Xi Jinping wants to rule the world as ‘only’ superpower, surrounded by ‘vassal states’

“They don’t believe there can be multiple superpowers, they believe that there can only be one, and they want to return back to the glory days of [imperial] China where everybody else was a vassal state and everybody [kowtowed] to the emperor,” U.S. Pacific Air Forces Command chief Kenneth Wilsbach told reporters Friday. “And the emperor now is the Chinese Communist Party.”

Trudeau government condemns Nigeria’s ban of Twitter while they to censor the internet in Canada

The official “Canada in Nigeria” Twitter account voiced their support for freedom of speech and access to information amid the country’s banning of the social media giant after the company deleted tweets of President Muhammadu Buhari. Meanwhile, in Canada, the Trudeau government is actively attempting to censor its own internet with Bill C-10.

Hundreds of Ryerson professors sign letter demanding university change its name

About 345 professors, including three associate deans, signed a letter saying that “now is the time to stop commemorating Ryerson.” It’s one of several petitions and letters making similar demands coming out of the university community; open letters have been written by the university’s staff, its Indigenous faculty and its Indigenous students.

FERNANDO: Trudeau & Carney Will Never Play By The Rules They Impose

It’s becoming increasingly clear that our leaders are priming us to accept a lower standard of living.

One can read between the lines on everything they put forth, though they lack the courage to outright admit it.

You can surely sense it, as the era of expecting our leaders to push for growing prosperity has been replaced with an era of guilt and lowered expectations.

Yellen Admits Inflation Is About To Surge But Says It Will Be ‘Plus For Society’s Point Of View’

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who previously chaired the Federal Reserve, said the central bank has been more concerned about inflation levels that are too low, according to Bloomberg. Increasing consumer prices could signal a return to normal, she said.

“We’ve been fighting inflation that’s too low and interest rates that are too low now for a decade,” Yellen told Bloomberg in an interview Sunday.

Trump: Twitter, Facebook ‘a Disgrace’ — ‘They Have to Be Stopped’

In a Monday phone interview with Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Company,” former President Donald Trump blasted social media giants Twitter and Facebook.

Trump said it is a “disgrace” that Twitter and Facebook have banned him and censored other conservatives on their platforms. He emphasized that the companies “have got to be stopped.”

Gayflation: When Being Gay is No Longer Enough

Inflation, in economics, reflects the decrease in the purchasing power of money. As inflation increases, it takes more money to buy the same amount of goods and services. Ever since being gay became a currency – in the entertainment industry – it has been suffering from the same inflationary process: gayflation.

Who — or What — Occupies Gaza?

The article of faith that unites all who condemn Israel’s response to Hamas rockets in the latest escalation with Gaza, from the most rabid Islamists to the hyper sophisticated (or so they think) pundits from the New York Times and dwellers of the ivory tower of academia, is captured by a single word “occupation.” We keep hearing from them that Gaza is occupied, that Gaza is an open-air prison, that Gaza is a “penal colony.” Gazans are oppressed, the theory goes, and Israel is the oppressor.

Stop this culture war against the working class

Stop this culture war against the working class

‘Taking the knee’ has become the latest weapon in the woke elites’ war on the plebs.

So now we know what ‘taking the knee’ is all about. Now we know why footballers in the UK – 4,000 miles from the site of George Floyd’s murder last year – are still bending down in silence at the start of every game. It isn’t about Floyd. It isn’t about racism. It isn’t about raising awareness of the fact that some lowlifes on Twitter think it’s funny to racially abuse black footballers. No, taking the knee is now little more than an elitist provocation. It has become a way of goading working-class football fans.

Hate preachers now a ‘priority threat’ amid concerns over return of Islamist extremism

Ministers are understood to be diverting officials to monitor and disrupt those who promote ‘fear and division’

Hate preachers will be treated as a “priority threat” and tackled as part of the Government’s counter-terrorism strategy, amid concerns about a resurgence of Islamist extremism.

The Telegraph understands ministers are preparing to direct counter-terrorism officials to monitor and “disrupt” the activities of those who “promote fear and division”, without involvement in terror.

One former counter-terrorism officer suggested that the move could lead to officials and police attempting to prevent certain extremists from distributing material on the streets or holding large events, and challenging them when they speak in public.

Fascism isn’t coming

In this age of political hypochondria, everyone wants to be a hero

I’m something of a hypochondriac, and in the past few years have had at least seven different types of cancer diagnosed by Dr Google. Many, many things resemble the symptoms of the disease, most of which are benign, but if you know of family members who’ve suffered and read about it, then it’s natural to see the Big C everywhere.

Muslim Anti-Semitism By The Numbers

A pandemic of “holy” hate.

Concurrent with Israel’s military response to the latest wave of Hamas’s jihad terrorrocket and mortar salvos targeting its civilian areas—the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued a May 20, 2021 press lease chronicling “a dangerous and drastic surge in anti-Jewish hate right here at home,” in the United States. ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt noted his organization was “tracking acts of harassment, vandalism and violence,” the press release citing “193 reports [compiled] in the week after the crisis began.” Even the doctrinaire Leftist Greenblatt conceded during a PBS interview discussing these alarming findings

Why Kim Jong-un is waging war on slang, jeans and foreign films

North Korea has recently introduced a sweeping new law which seeks to stamp out any kind of foreign influence – harshly punishing anyone caught with foreign films, clothing or even using slang. But why?

Yoon Mi-so says she was 11 when she first saw a man executed for being caught with a South Korean drama.

His entire neighbourhood was ordered to watch.

“If you didn’t, it would be classed as treason,” she told the BBC from her home in Seoul.

The Lethal Wages of Trump Derangement Madness

In their uncontrolled aversion and detestation, Trump haters suspended all the rules of empiricism, logic, and rationality—and people died as a result.

Think about it: For about five years, anything candidate, president-elect, and President Trump said or did, the media, the Left, and progressive popular culture opposed in Pavlovian fashion.

Anything that Trump touched was ridiculed or discredited—regardless of evidence, data, or cogency. The merits of a Trump policy, a Trump assessment, a Trump initiative were irrelevant—given the primordial hatred of the Left of all things Trump: the president, the person, the family.

Moscow bans top Canadian officials, accuses them of ‘anti-Russian’ activities

The Russian foreign ministry has banned a number of Canadian officials — including Justice Minister David Lametti — from travelling to that country, citing what it claims are “anti-Russian” activities.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the ministry said Lametti, RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki, Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc and a number of government officials — including the top bureaucrat at the Department of National Defence, Jodi Thomas — will be barred from travelling to Russia because they have shown “inappropriate and counterproductive activity in support of the ultra-nationalist regime” in Ukraine and other “Russophobic forces” in the Baltic states.
