The professional political and media classes of America’s East and West Coasts are striking hard and fast to eliminate Trump. There is a concerted effort to tar every Trump supporter with the brush of Capitol mob protester. That is a lie. It is deliberate and malicious. It is a plan to intimidate and silence.
With the federal cabinet now rebuilt and the prime minister eyeing a potential election, we can now consider what is to be done about the fanatics and racists who make up the modern Conservative Party of Canada.
Apologies, I slipped into Liberal character there for a second, previewing what will surely be Justin Trudeau’s preferred line of attack. And while I’m hopeful that an election in the midst of a global pandemic will focus on high-minded questions of public policy, the Liberal predilection for poking the alt-right and social conservative bears (and the media’s appetite to cover it) will win out, as surely as Donald Trump avoids responsibility.
Not that I care. The Conservative party was dead to me already. Liberal or Conservative? Same crap different pile.
“The President, you know, continues to be a very violent and unstable man. Ahmar Khan, who worked in CBC’s Manitoba newsroom as a temporary reporter/editor for a year before his termination in December 2019, is now entitled to be reinstated for a minimum of four months or receive four months of compensation, arbitrator Lorne Slotnick wrote in his ruling.

Canada is on track to see more than 10,000 coronavirus cases a day by February if, “we maintain the current number of people we contact each day,” according to new modelling from the federal government.
The feds on Friday released an updated picture of the current COVID-19 pandemic facing Canada, which included new modelling and estimates on the number of cases and deaths.
Toronto police say individuals won’t be ‘compelled to explain why they are out of their residence’ amid new stay-at-home order
Residents won’t be forced to explain why they are out of their homes despite a stay-at-home order from the province, Toronto police said as it laid out its enforcement plan, which will mainly focus on restaurants, businesses and large gatherings.
The Toronto Police Service released details of how they will be enforcing the order hours after it took effect. The stay-at-home order, which was announced on Tuesday, requires residents to only go out for essential purposes as the province tries to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus.
