Trump suggests Somali president ‘take back’ Rep. Ilhan Omar after she trashed Charlie Kirk’s legacy

President Trump snarked Thursday that he told Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to “take back” Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar after she made a series of vile remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

“I met the head of Somalia, did you know that?” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, referring to the home country of the Minnesota “Squad” lawmaker.

“And I suggested that maybe he’d like to take her back. And he said, ‘I don’t want her.’”

Best President Ever.

Canada is failing to count how many overstay their visas

Douglas Todd: How can decision-makers plan for housing, jobs, schools, water supply, physicians, rental units and social services when a significant number of people who were supposed to leave the country aren’t being tracked?

It’s hard to run a city, or country, when you don’t know how many people actually live in them.

How can public officials and businesses plan for housing, workers, schools, water supply, physicians, rental units or social services when they don’t know how many individuals need them?

Yet, according to experts, that is the problem in Canada, especially in the Toronto and Vancouver regions. The federal government isn’t being transparent about how many people in Canada remain in the country after their visas expire.

My God but we need a Trump. (Incognito)

The suspected gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, law enforcement officials said.

A civic group is advocating for Toronto to adopt congestion pricing, following the route taken by cities such as New York, London, Stockholm and Singapore.

It’s a tactic aimed at reducing traffic in downtowns, with the collected congestion fees meant to go toward improving public transit and urban infrastructure.

Toronto sucks, this will make it suck more.

Tylenol is not recommended for those suffering TDS

Canada maintains Tylenol is safe for pregnant women despite US warning

Canadian health officials, for now at least, will not follow the lead of the United States in recommending pregnant women avoid using acetaminophen, more commonly known as Tylenol, after a study indicated it is a contributing factor in the autism epidemic.

According to officials from Health Canada in a September 23 statement, acetaminophen is safe for use for pain and fever during a woman’s pregnancy when used as indicated on the box/bottle.

Doug Ford blasts Carney government for proposal to limit use of the notwithstanding clause

Ottawa’s bid to curb the province’s use of the notwithstanding clause is “way overreach,” warns Premier Doug Ford.

Ford, the first Ontario premier to ever employ the Constitution’s nuclear option to override the courts, railed against federal Justice Minister Sean Fraser’s request to the Supreme Court of Canada to limit its use to protect Charter rights.

“It’s way overreach with the courts. Again, Parliament — federal Parliament, provincial Parliament — they’re supreme because the people are supreme, not judges ruling on stuff that shouldn’t even be in front of the courts,” he said Thursday in Vaughan.

I think they have Dougie on a “Say something vaguely conservative” once a month regime.

Police did right thing releasing man seen trying to assemble rifle outside Toronto store, expert says

Videos of a man who appeared to be assembling a rifle outside a Toronto store that were shared online garnered thousands of views and the attention of police, who briefly took the man into custody before letting him go.

But while the incident raised alarm bells for a shop owner whose security cameras captured the incident, one legal expert says simply holding pieces of what appears to be a firearm doesn’t mean police can press charges.

Pro-Palestine activists quit Greta Thunberg’s convoy after learning LGBTQ campaigners are on board

Greta Thunberg’s flotilla bound for Gaza has descended into chaos after pro-Palestine activists quit the convoy when they learnt LGBTQ+ campaigners were on board, it has been claimed.

The 22-year-old Swedish eco-protestor has also reportedly left her leadership role due to disagreements among organisers, but she will stay onboard as a participant volunteer.

On September 1, around 20 vessels displaying Palestinian flags and carrying some 350 pro-Palestinian activists departed from Barcelona.

The Public Safety Minister accidentally tells the truth about Canada’s gun-buyback program

Lying Liberal DEI MP

There are two very simple ways to deduce what a member of cabinet truly thinks about his or her government’s schemes. The first method is to infer what any right-minded, reasonably informed person would think about, say, blowing three-quarters of a billion dollars (plus administrative costs) to confiscate legally owned guns, which we know are not being used in the vast majority of firearms-involved crimes on Canadian streets. The second method is to get ministers in a room where they believe no one is listening, and to let them know it’s safe to use their brains and not their centrally conceived talking points.

Suspected Russian drones flown near military airbases in Denmark

Drones have been detected flying around a Danish jet fighter base and four airports, causing the diversion of flights in the second night of disruption this week.

Aalborg airport, which is the country’s third busiest and is used by the military, was briefly forced to close late on Wednesday night and at least three flights had to be rerouted.

The transport wing of the Danish air force, including Hercules and Challenger aircraft, and the Jaeger Corps of special forces commandos are located at an adjacent base.
